Oceans Islands and Whales in Albany

The accommodation we stayed in was a 2 bedroom self contained unit, one of 4 attached, presumably all the same, rather old workers or perhaps fisherman's cottages or something similar, as featured in the main advertising photo. With 2 smallish bedrooms, a very "cosy" lounge room and kitchen, it was comfortable enough. Unfortunately the bathroom and toilet were off an attached annexe arrangement out a door and down one step, off the kitchen. This was very cold and had a continuously damp feeling about it. The bathroom itself was not at all comfortable, with a virtually continuously running, strong exhaust fan, activated by a movement sensor, drawing in cold air, making showering and general use of the bathroom, uncomfortable. The draft ****** the flimsy shower curtain into the shower as you showered under a very poor pressured and not particularly hot shower. One photo shows mould build up on the one glass panel of the shower. The second photo shows an internal rotting window frame beside the door off the "annexe" confirming the damp nature of this part of the unit. I would not recommend this accommodation to friends unless the bathroom facilities were substantially upgraded.

Property was old and not up to the standard of other accommodation.
