I had high hopes for Caravella based on its “boutique hotel” label, but the reality was hugely disappointing. We arrived to find no staff on site, everything had been arranged via WhatsApp beforehand. When I called to ask how to use the electric car charger, no one could give me an answer zero assistance.
There was no interaction with staff, not even in the morning. How is this called a boutique experience? The room was claustrophobic, smelled of mold, and to make matters worse, I woke up in the middle of the night with ants in the bed.
This was far from a boutique hotel more like an unattended rental. I would not recommend it, and I’m just glad we didn’t stay longer.
