Very friendly and welcoming staff. Bicycle storage with charging available that gets locked at night.
Breakfast was nice, they made us omelettes in addition to the food that was available.
Now the rooms.. I can get behind the “experience”.
But it was just a bit run down. The floor was scratched up. The rugs were worn. It felt like the room needs a bit of love.
WiFi didn’t really reach the room so couldn’t use the smart functions on the tv.
If it was cheaper I would be okay, but we paid 160€ for the night, a price at which I would expect a little bit more.

The rooms are themed and quirky but are quite dated now. They are clean, just dated. The lift broke down and we were on the third floor with suit cases. The location is great as it is right in the middle of things.

The hotel was booked very much on short notice and everything was perfect. Next time again!

The hotel is old, but it's brightened up by all the antique and recognizable period features, such as a train carriage and a phone booth. The room was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. My only complaint is the Wi-Fi, where streaming programs constantly buffered or simply stopped.

Hi, stayed 2 times and it is an unique place, different style of rooms, good service and very tasty food. Safe travels.

Interesting place. Comfortable, but would not likely book again. Ceiling lights in the bathroom had dead bugs, and decorations were eclectic, but ok. Elevator was needing a good paint job as it had lots of scratches and graffiti. Rug in our room was quite ragged and worn. Gave a 3/5 because the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Great little quirky hotel. Very funky decor, a little bit steam punk, quite alternative pop culture, and very nice! Staff were friendly and super helpful. The rooms are all themed: I had the Merck Pharmaceutical room, complete with corporate placards and a funky round bed surrounded by pills! The room was huge, well appointed and comfortable. There's a restaurant attached, and a craft brewery too. Food and drinks were very nice! It was certainly a very nice place to stay and I'd stay again for sure!

The most intriguing hotel
What a wonderful and interesting place to stay! I almost couldn’t leave and explore as there’s so much to see within the premises. My particular room would not be many people’s choice of decor but it was such a talking point and did not deter from the comfort. This hotel could never be called boring and the restaurant was incredible with absolutely fabulous food. The staff were fantastic and so accommodating and warm. If I return I needn’t look for anywhere else to stay! I’d also quite like to see what some of the other rooms look like!

This year I'm again in this wonderful place. It is one of the most exciting hotels in Austrias South.

Good place to be and the hotel rooms are all different. I liked the idea to have the hotel just above the restaurant but the smell of kitchen was a bit too much on the hotel's corridor. A big handicap is the parking: the hotel has only few places and the guests have to find public places Which are occupied anyway.
