We accidentally found this hotel during a road trip vacation to Europe in the summer of 2024. We hope to visit again soon. We rented two rooms on the top floor and fell in love with the peaceful mountain and valley views. The balcony and rooms were incredibly clean and well maintained. The service was excellent and the food was just perfect. My daughter has Celiac's and was very happy with the quality of gluten free breakfast and dinner choices.

Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and an amazing location and hotel.
If you want a place away from the city busy streets, in the middle of the nature, somewhere where you can relax, then this is it. Absolutely gorgeous location with amazing views. Especially from the corner rooms, and those with balconies it is amazing.
All in all a memorable experience and I would go back there in a second.
Note that to get to the hotel, you need to drive on a few very small streets. You may be tempted to think that you made a wrong turn or that those streets are dead-ends, but they are not. Keep going and the view is opening up soon and you can see the hotel and the mountains.

We came here late evening, found a key on the reception but then it was not clear where our room is as numbers of rooms have nothing to do with floors)) So it was a challenge, rather then that, everything else was just amazing. Good location, fantastic view, nice breakfast, kids playground, and big parking area next to the hotel. My recommendations!

A very comfortable place, with a lovely outdoor area for drinks and a good place for children to play, with a trampoline etc. We ate the standard menu and really enjoyed it. It is a friendly atmosphere with good facilities and views. We regretted that we had only scheduled one day there.

A beautiful, peaceful setting in the mountains above the town. We sat watching paragliders drifting down from the mountain top, seated on chairs in the shade of a grand tree in the courtyard. The daily menu meal was generous portions and delicious. The family room was actually two adjoining bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well.

Everything amazing! I asked if they have any vegan options at the restaurant, and they made me a whole menu! I had soup,salad,main and even a dessert. It was delicious. Can’t thank enough. Nice rooms and wonderful people.

Nice people are running this hilltop place with a breathtaking view, where you can find the best of Nature, just minutes of steep climb away from the more populated area.
Despite the relatively big number of guests the Landhof caters for, it still has the air of a familiy-run, really hospitable establishment.
Whether you are looking for a quiet get-away or a hub for daily hiking or montain-biking, this place will satisfy you.

Ein sehr angenehmes Ambiente, absolut freundliches Personal und das mitten in der Natur. Nicht sehr weit von Spittal an der Drau entfernt, im Winter super Nähe zum Sportberg Goldeck und im Sommer praktisch einen Katzensprung vom Millstätter See entfernt. Die sehr gute Anbindung ist sicherlich auch sehr wichtig und gegeben.
