A friendly stay with a historic touch We were traveling as a company of four and had reserved three rooms in total. Upon arrival, I was informed that my room was unavailable due to sanitary conditions, even though the other two rooms were ready for the rest of our group. The receptionist was very helpful and had already arranged a room for me at a partner hotel nearby. The manager also kindly assured me that I was still welcome to join the other guests for breakfast each morning. The hotel itself has a charming history dating back to 1806. It began as a café before evolving into what it is today. The atmosphere is warm and the staff are genuinely friendly. A nice touch: on Fridays and weekends, the staff wear traditional clothing, which really adds to the historic feel. Not the start we expected, but the hospitality turned it around. A lovely historic spot, despite the hiccup with the room, the staff handled it professionally and the historic charm won us over..

A very beautiful and modern room. The reception was very friendly. The experience from booking to checkout was excellent. The location is also convenient, with parking available at the University of Applied Sciences.

Highly recommended! The owner is exceptionally kind and helpful – we received excellent support, especially with our rebooking. The room was very comfortable, clean, and tastefully furnished. We would particularly like to highlight the breakfast: lovingly prepared, with a wide selection and a wonderful ambiance – even a real white rose on the table. We felt completely at ease and would love to return!

The room next to the stairwell was noisy, the room layout took some getting used to (the TV was at a 90-degree angle next to the bed), and the mattress was ultra-soft... 🙄

Wonderful hotel that we use as a last one-night stay before driving the last way to the skiing areas.
It would be great if the fantastic breakfast was served from 6am in the weekend so that we can enjoy this AND get into the skiing area when it opens (1h drive).

Good and clean but to expensive breakfast.
I come here already for many years, hotel is nice and clean, good bed and so on. Only big minor, last week I visisted the hotel again and for the first time the breakfast was not included, I was asked to pay 21 Euro if I wanted to join the breakfast, I eat only 1 breadroll and 1 or 2 cups of coffee, so I was pretty shocked about this that I skipped it. Sorry 21 Euro is far to high if you are not a bit eater, yes the buffet is OK that is clear, but from inclusive to an additional 21 Euro is to much.
