Nice hotel, receptionist good location. Parking was not a problem close to the public parking free from 7pm tin 9am.
Little renovation could be good.
Also checkout at 10 is too early. One hour more wold be good.

Our stay at Hotel du Commerce in Houffalize was fantastic. The breakfast is delicious and extensive, and the food is super tasty (scallops, venison tartare, tagliata, sole). The cozy corner with armchairs makes it extra inviting and feels like coming home. The room was perfect, the staff friendly, and the owners a fantastic couple. Highly recommended!

Overall, the hotel was quite pleasant. The biggest advantage—and also the main drawback—was its location. It’s right in the heart of Blankenberge, close to shops and restaurants, which is very convenient. However, parking was a real challenge: not only was it extremely expensive, but I also had to park in two different locations because of the weekend market.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room itself was a bit small and lacked air conditioning, which made it less comfortable.

The hotel is located in Blankenberge close to the beach. The rooms are pretty nice and big enough. It is a 3 Star Hotel. The lunch is also nice. The only deduction for a hotel like this: The room door did not close in a propper way.

The location is well located, although it is on a busy street. The website states that they have private parking, this is not correct. They advise the reception to take the train if you ask behind the parking. The rooms are small for the price you pay. They have a steam room, but don't expect much from it. It seems as if they still had room somewhere in a back room of the hotel and then decided to install a steam bath there. It is an okay hotel for two nights by the sea, but you should not expect more from it. Too expensive for what it finally is. It is also best not to book during a heat wave, because there is no air conditioning in the room.

Only.thing keeping me from giving 5 stars were the terrible mattresses which were much too soft. Woke up to a backache.

Thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. All amenities. Clean, courteous staff. Would certainly recommend it to family and friends. Breakfast superb. Great choice.

Very good hotel with charme. Has a bit of an oldschool feeling with renovated, new and good quality interior. Cosy beds, clean and good bathrooms. The staff is very nice and the breakfast was really good. One thing to add but that didn't impact the experience and impression: The hamam is more like a steam bath.
