Swimming pool very nice (large size, heated and seats available). Staff profesional. Very good location. Good food (dinner and breakfast). The rooms are very basics and miss a fridge. The airconditioning works well. Parking expensive (15€)

We stayed here on 2 different dates just for one night to play Royal Ostend Golf (just next door) and Royal Zoute (35 minutes away). There's plenty of room to park, it costs only 15 EUR a day. What I liked most about this hotel is the great pice/quality. It's nothing fency, but everything you need. The breakfast buffet was a lot better than plenty other hotels we visited for a much higher price. I would definitely book this hotel again.

Good value on Belgian coast
The Ibis De Haan is in a very quiet location about 1.5km outside the town and you can walk or drive to the beach. Breakfast is good with hot and cold offerings. We were lucky to have good weather and enjoy breakfast outside. The hotel was full and the staff worked hard to keep on top of everything - excellent. We did enjoy some drinks in the bar and had good information from reception about where to park in Bruges. The room was a little small for 2 with very little hanging and storage space and the aircon tended to turn itself off. But all in all, we had a good time. We didn't use the swimming pool bit it looked good.

Nice clean quiet hotel on the coast.
Quiet location, lots of free parking, beach nearby and forest walks. Very welcoming reception staff and free easter chocolate a lovely touch. Room was quiet, clean and spacious. However there is no kettle in the room, no iron and the towels seemed very old and needing replaced with better quality. Great staff all around and breakfast caters for all tastes, especially9 loved the make your own waffles.

The first thing that I find crazy is you are charged €15 a night to park your car. This is out of season and as a hotel guest I find this unreasonable and too expensive.
Hotel room was comfortable with a good bed but poor pillows. Great shower.
Corridor outside my room and by the lift with filthy from the time I arrived to when I left.

we had a very pleasant stay at Ibis De Haan. We went walking in the nature reserve every day and eventually found easy access to the beach. De Haan itself is very easy walking distance and places to eat were just over 1Km away on the far side.

Small rooms, clean at ground level but quite dusty above 1,60m (impossible to use additional pillow as its plastic cover was covered by an impressive layer of dust)...
Interesting place for dogs lovers as it accepts animals.
If you add the cost of breakfast and parking to that of the room you can find much nicer places with 3* in the region...

A lovely quiet hotel. A little off the beaten track and not on a main road. So I had a very good night sleep. The building and facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely use it again.

We arrived very late after a long non-stop drive from Wales and the restaurant was, unsurprisingly, closed. I asked if there was a local restaurant open. The receptionist said no but could see that we were tired and hungry and opened the kitchen to cook us spaghetti bolognese. Excellent, beyond the call of duty service and highly recommended if you're looking for a stop en route to Brussels from the channel tunnel. The following day we stayed at a 5-star hotel in Brussels where the welcome was nowhere near as friendly as this Ibis.
