Location a bit outside De Haan, but next to beautiful nature reserve which you can cross in 10 minutes walking to reach the tram stop. Nice parking. Modern building, rooms are perfectly functional in Ibis stylish style, bed is comfy and airco is functioning perfectly. Good welcome. Excellent breakfast. A very nice hotel to stay. Only bemol were the 2 dining plates we selected, not up to our taste (I guess some bad luck...).

Swimming pool very nice (large size, heated and seats available). Staff profesional. Very good location. Good food (dinner and breakfast). The rooms are very basics and miss a fridge. The airconditioning works well. Parking expensive (15€)

The location is wow! Swimming pool is outside, the water is clean. Breakfast is basic, but delicious. The rooms are clean. The sea is in ten minutes. Easy to get here by tram.

We stayed here on 2 different dates just for one night to play Royal Ostend Golf (just next door) and Royal Zoute (35 minutes away). There's plenty of room to park, it costs only 15 EUR a day. What I liked most about this hotel is the great pice/quality. It's nothing fency, but everything you need. The breakfast buffet was a lot better than plenty other hotels we visited for a much higher price. I would definitely book this hotel again.

Good value on Belgian coast
The Ibis De Haan is in a very quiet location about 1.5km outside the town and you can walk or drive to the beach. Breakfast is good with hot and cold offerings. We were lucky to have good weather and enjoy breakfast outside. The hotel was full and the staff worked hard to keep on top of everything - excellent. We did enjoy some drinks in the bar and had good information from reception about where to park in Bruges. The room was a little small for 2 with very little hanging and storage space and the aircon tended to turn itself off. But all in all, we had a good time. We didn't use the swimming pool bit it looked good.

Nice clean quiet hotel on the coast.
Quiet location, lots of free parking, beach nearby and forest walks. Very welcoming reception staff and free easter chocolate a lovely touch. Room was quiet, clean and spacious. However there is no kettle in the room, no iron and the towels seemed very old and needing replaced with better quality. Great staff all around and breakfast caters for all tastes, especially9 loved the make your own waffles.

The first thing that I find crazy is you are charged €15 a night to park your car. This is out of season and as a hotel guest I find this unreasonable and too expensive.
Hotel room was comfortable with a good bed but poor pillows. Great shower.

Clean and modern. We stayed in the off peak season before Christmas, and it was really quiet - good nights sleep! Grounds such as large garden and the swimming pool (in summer) look great. One negative is that despite the rooms being a good price, once charged for the car park it adds up to be not so cheap. Great that dogs can stay!
* Updated after our second stay. We’ve found the customer service both times to be not so great from some staff, including when looking to book via phone. Also crazy to go somewhere in Belgium and not be able to order fries on the menu.
