The hotel was very clean and conveniently located near the city center. The staffs were friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. The rooms were spotless and featured large windows that allowed plenty of fresh air. We stayed for two nights and had a very pleasant experience. The only downside is that there’s no elevator. Fortunately, our room was on the first floor, but staying on a higher floor might be a bit inconvenient. It’s a good idea to check with the hotel in advance if you prefer a room on the lower floor.

The hotel is in a great location in Bruges, only 10 minute walk to the centre with some lovely local spots nearby. The receptionist was very welcoming and made suggestions of places to get food and visit.

Breakfast was also provided, which was very pleasant. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed.

No complaints from us, it is perfect if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay. We would definitely come back again!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, my best friend and I. Knowing very well how the hotels can be in different parts of the world, booking at a 2 star hotel like Asiris came with very low expectations, but this is what we could afford (we found Bruges and Gent expensive).
Our biggest surprise was that the hotel room is really clean, the bathroom spotless, a very good bed (not so very good pillows but that’s only my 2 cents). Loooved the glass windows and the charm of the old building. Yes, there are no elevators but you can read that before you book, so I don’t understand the fuss.
The biggest nicest surprise was the breakfast. Only few options but delicious, the most amazing bread I ever ate at a hotel and patisserie 10 out of 10. This hotel really proves that less is more. We loved it. Very chic and charming. Keep up the good work!!

After contacting the Manager and telling him about our situation that our flight was delayed, he did not give us any possible option to get the entry card after 11pm, we gave him many options and despite explaining that we could not arrive before 11pm because the flight.

if you book this hotel, you should know that if you have any inconvenience, they will not give you options for a solution. We lost our money and we destroy our holidays because of this. Really sad about the hotel services.

Lovely town, would stay at Asiris again!
Short walk to central Brugge, very comfy bed, good water pressure in the shower. Helpful staff. I also enjoyed the morning view of Brugge from my (top floor) room. I chose not to pay for breakfast, so can't comment on that. Would stay here again!

Such a disappointing hotel. Our room was tiny, cramped and so basic. Kind of like a room in a hostel. We were on the third floor with no lift, there was no kettle or even cups and not enough hanging space. It was basically a bed in a loft with a low ceiling, They didn’t even leave toilet paper! We had to go and find a cupboard on the second floor to get some ourselves. We had to check in at Hotel Jacob across the road, Asiris is bleak, we would never stay again.

The location and prices are great, and the hotel is very quiet. Bruges is an incredible city, which more than makes up for any minor inconveniences during the stay. However, a few things are worth mentioning.

The hotel doesn’t have an elevator, so I had to carry my heavy luggage up to the third floor, which was exhausting, especially with no one available to help. If you have a disability or difficulty with stairs, it’s important to request a room on the reception floor, though this wasn’t clearly mentioned in the Booking description.

Additionally, the reception is located in a neighboring hotel, and when I needed assistance on two occasions, I couldn’t reach anyone through the room phone despite trying several times. This could be dangerous in case of an emergency if someone needs immediate help.

Another issue was that the air conditioning wasn’t working. Opening the window wasn’t always a solution, as it could get too chilly.

While the room was small, it was clean, comfortable, quiet at night, and felt safe. I thoroughly enjoyed Bruges and didn’t spend much time at the hotel, so overall, the stay was fine for me.

+ Reception very friendly and helpful. Recommended us some places for food based on our tastes. Lots of leaflets available.

Our 3 night trip to Bruges was incredible and made more fabulous by the wonderful Katie, Eric & Asiris. Travelling with our dearest friends, we stayed in the cute duplex cottages (extremely clean, lovely bathroom, comfy bed, separate sitting area, tv, fridge & coffee making facilities) within a pretty courtyard. We were visited by Freya the cuddly house cat, drank cava in the garden (ordered by our friends) and were wowed by the breakfasts in the lush dining room. A perfect place from which to easily explore the city. We won’t stay anywhere else in Bruges. Thank you for a fantastic time! Love from your Welsh friends xx

Lovely small family run hotel in a quiet location - short walk to central Bruges. Our room had a beautiful view over the roof tops. Facilities and breakfast were all very good. Note - there is no lift so getting bags up winding stairs was a challenge. The view from the room made it worth it. Highly recommend for those budget conscious travellers like me :)
