We had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B. Michael and John are amazing hosts. We stayed in the Rembrandt room which was quite spacious and unique. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the center of Bruges. Very quiet at night and comfortable bed. And the breakfast each morning was spectacular in a beautiful setting. We will return here again on our next trip to Bruges!
I can not speak highly enough of this wonderful B and B. Michael and family were so welcoming and friendly. This is a very cosy lovely place to stay ! Breakfast is absolutely amazing !! We will definitely be back !
Exceptional on every level. Location, accommodation, breakfast, hosts and service are all amazing. Could not ask for more.
Very nice stay, perfect location
Perfectly positioned a short walk from the station, but also in the historic city and 5 mins walk to the centre! Large beautifully restored rooms, we had three as with friends and all amazing, with en-suites. Lastly the host and owner simply can’t do enough to help, guide and make your stay perfect. Don’t hesitate and book here!
John is a marvelous host. Bruges is small and quiet and packed with atmosphere. To stay at a bed and breakfast so close to everything that is so representative of the city is a genuine European experience. Highest recommendations.
Great place and location. It was more like an AirBnB in terms of size - large with a better than average kitchenette - plates, cutlery, wine glasses, microwave, large fridge. Sweet view out window from living area of canal. Hostess offered a rooftop drink and other, but our timing was never right. She (Lyne) was extremely attentive and we always had what we needed from the stay.
The owner provided a great welcome with a thorough explanation of surrounding areas and local considerations. The master luxury suite was wonderful.
If we could rate this place higher than 5 stars we would! From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. From the personal explanation about must-see places in Bruge, to the accomodations, to the location. This has been one of the most amazing experiences we have had during our many travels. Lyn was exceptionally inviting and helpful but the entire staff was amazing. If we are ever lucky...
Recently spent 3 nights here with my fiancée, we had the most amazing time. Location is amazing, only a few minutes walk to the Belfry & Markt, overlooks Church of our Lady, with beautiful views of the canals right from the room. Lyn, the host, was unbelievably accommodating, giving us a great 20 minute info session on what restaurants & sights to see during our stay; she also gave us champagne on...
The website isn't exaggerating when it promises "The charme of private home and the comfort of a luxury hotel." Considerably larger than most NYC apartments, and overlooking a quiet canal, this was one of the most comfortable accommodations I've stayed in anywhere in Europe. The website does not do it justice. The host, Lyne, was welcoming, gracious, and helpful throughout, welcoming us (and sending...
My girlfriend and I spent two wonderful nights here last week. Upon arrival the owner met us, gave us a tour of the unit, and offered us a glass of champagne while she went over a map of the city, giving us sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. We enjoyed coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice on the roof deck of her other property just down the street, with an incredible view of the buildings...

Beautiful property - great sized rooms … very clean and tidy. Helpful kind welcoming hosts … their list of recommendations was very useful! Great location right near the heart of Bruges. Could only highly recommend and if we are ever to return to Bruges this would be our first stop!
We had a great couple of nights here over Easter The host was friendly and a provided a city guide and some recommendations of things to do / where to eat. The house is beautiful and our room was large and interestingly decorated. The old town is on your doorstep .
Mixed experience. Welcome ok but minimum service. Recommendations from the host not very useful because many of the addresses indicated were closed on December 24 and/or 25 and during the holidays, we would have waited for the little extra that would have been of service to us (Christmas market and shops which close on the 24 December from 4:30 p.m. etc., fortunately we had been well informed beforehand...
What an amazing place to stay. Brugge itself is the type of city you think of when you think of a European villa experience. Centrally located, beautiful decor, amazing suggestions of where to eat and what to do...the hosts of this place do an astounding job.
The only single issue we had was with the mosquitoes. We got bit up quite a bit. But that is the only negative.

Great place to stay. Excellent quality food, fine nature, lovely staff. Beautiful garden and decor. Excellent location to explore Bruge on foot
A charming hotel full of character, located in a beautiful old house with a lovely garden. Set in the heart of Bruges, one of the most picturesque cities in Europe, this place offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, with a generous selection of fresh and high-quality options. A perfect choice for those seeking tranquility, beauty, and authenticity.
Tucked away from maddening crowds, this beautiful Bed and Breakfast is the real gem of Brugge . Owners Jan and Kristine welcome you into their wonderful mansion and treat you to incredible breakfasts . Outdoor garden and courtyard was a highlight. Perfect location 5 minutes to main square,
Gorgeous heritage building. Lovely furnishings. Brilliant location close to the city centre. Comfy bed. Good bathroom. Quiet. Clean. Jan, the host is friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Pleasant garden view from our room. Highly recommended.
Visited 11 to 14 December .. the hotel is so lovely, tastefully decorated and run by Yan and Kristien who are great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The room was well decorated and large with superb facilities. The heating works so well we had to turn off the radiators it was too warm! Breakfast was the best, fresh bread, rolls, pastries and many local cheeses and meats, home made jams and...
We have just had a wonderful 2 night stay at this B&B. We couldn’t fault a thing. Room was beautiful and the bed amazingly comfortable. Breakfast was perfect, eggs made to order and fresh continental spread. Our hosts made us feel so welcome, they couldn’t do enough. The location is so close to the centre but you’d never know as is so quiet at night. Will definitely be returning!
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming bed and breakfast hosted by Lynn in the city of Bruges, and it was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, Lynn's warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The B&B itself is a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. Our room was impeccably clean and cozy, offering all the amenities we could possibly need. We even...
A beautiful, comfortable place to stay. Lynn makes a wonderful breakfast spread of charcuterie, pastries, home made breads, fruit, and cereal, supplemented with cooked to order eggs. A beautiful home with access to a picturesque patio on a small intimate canal. Lynn also surprised us with a yummy tiramisu treat at the end of a day of touring the beautiful Bruges town. She had many wonderful suggestions...
We are so pleased we had the opportunity to enjoy Huis Koning and Lynn’s hospitality before she starts on her next chapter the beginning of July. The house is immaculate, wonderful location close to the action but in a quiet area, outstanding gourmet breakfast with so many wonderful choices made with quality ingredients, comfortable room with a luxurious bathroom. The peaceful shaded terrace and...
I came across Huis Koning a few years ago when planning our trip to Belgium and The Netherlands. Unable to complete the trip because of the pandemic we were thrilled to be able to visit this year. This B&B is one of the most comfortable and inviting spaces that we have ever been to—beautifully decorated and very functional, has a serene and private environment, an excellent location and the best part...
We spent 2 mights at the B&B in April. Amazing place - beautiful traditional building with modern amenities and an amazing breakfast. Location is great, a short walk to city centre and in a quiet area on a canal. Best of all was the our host Lynn who did everything she could to make our stay as nice as possible with many personal touches. One of our party was under the weather and Lynn was very understanding...
Loved this B and B...the host Lynn made us feel comfortable and at home. The breakfasts were superb, rooms perfect, and provided with great information to make our time there more memorable. We were sad to leave and would return in a heartbeat if we lived closer.

Erika and Dietrich were brilliant hosts, friendly, engaging and helpful. We spent plenty of time chatting. Our luxury room was lovely, and full of interesting curiosities, as was the whole house.... this place is a one off. In a nice quiet part of the city. The breakfast's as vegetarians was nothing short of excellent, and different on each day. Can't big this place up enough, and would highly recommend...
Erika and Dietrich are fantastic hosts who gladly share their advice on the city and showed a genuine interest in our family. Fantastic B&B, filled with curiosities - it's like stepping into a deluxe version of BBC's Antiques Roadshow. Brilliant breakfast - Erika is an excellent breakfast chef. Really good location location for experiencing historic/central Bruges. A 100% recommendation from Denmark
We spent two nights at Le Flaneur last week and it was a pleasure. There was a warm welcome when we arrived and we were taken to our room which was well presented with a shower and twin basins. We were also offered a map of Bruges and advised on suitable restaurants. Breakfast was offered with home made additions which varied each day. A great location for visiting Bruges with super hosts.
What a wonderful place to stay! Friendly, welcoming, warm, comfortable, quirky, really quiet. Breakfast was excellent, a real treat. Didn’t need lunch. Super helpful hosts, useful tips on places to go and good restaurants. Lots of really nice touches. We will definitely return.
This is my second time staying here after doing so in 2017. And the wonderful thing is, Dietrich and Erika are just as wonderfully welcoming now as they were back then. Both are now working full time at the B&B which has 5 very charming rooms. The house is clean, full of character and well appointed. The hosts are attentive without imposing themselves and they literally cannot do enough for you. The...
A perfect B&B! We booked because of the excellent reviews, which are very well deserved. Erika and Dietrich are warm and kind, the perfect hosts. The house is decorated with lots of antiques by people who love to collect. Amazing freshly cooked big breakfast each day. And great location. You couldn’t hope for a better place with nicer people running it. Thanks!
Brilliant breakfast, lots of varieties, eggs, cold meat, cheeses, fruit, fresh juices and champagne too. We booked the apartment which was right next to the hotel and it’s quiet and clean. Lot’s of dining and shopping nearby.
Cozy and central. Feels like home and staff was helpfull. Would stay here again.
Wonderful stay. Cute rooms. Perfect location close to everything. Staff were by far, the most kind and helpful, of any hotel I’ve stayed at in Europe.
The location was perfect for a stay in the historic city center. Extremely walkable and beautiful accommodations. The breakfast was incredible and service was wonderful. If we are ever in Bruges again, we will be staying here again.
Very small room
Lovely staff at check-in. Room was very small and steep stairs were unexpected. Good location, quiet
Fantastic
Very nice boutique hotel at the best location in central Brügge. Service and breakfast is second to none!

Anna's B & B is the perfect place to stay and explore Bruges. The room was bright and spacious with a view of the church. It was in a quiet, charming, part of town, which was wonderful, because Bruges city center can be quite congested. The breakfast was outstanding. Anne had a knack for picking out perfect fruit and there were lots of extra special touches. Our other hotel breakfasts paled by comparison...
Cozy family hotel 100 meters from the canal. Not far from the central square, but in a quiet place. There is a bus to the station every 5 minutes nearby. You can leave your luggage.
The staircase is typical for Belgium, the bed is comfortable, it was not noisy inside, we lived on the first floor with a view of the Church of St. Anne and the square.
Clean, lots of nice details, everything is done with...
Beautiful property situated in the Sint Anna quarter of Bruges. Good sized rooms, modern decor and exceptionally clean. •Modern interior with good sized rooms, lovely decor and spotlessly clean. • Anne was an amazing host, providing recommendations and friendly chatter. • Property is located in the beautiful Sint Anna quarter. A lovely quiet area, but easily walkable to the centre. • Tasty continental...
Anna's B&B was a great way to get to know Bruges! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. The interior was lovely and homely, and the room we were to stay in was very tidy; everything was done to make sure our stay would be both comfortable and enjoyable. Furthermore, the breakfast was impeccable, and we definitely had our fill. The communication with Anne is something I would like to give a...
We stayed at Annas' B&B for 2 nights. We enjoyed the spotless, full of taste, spacious room and we appreciate Anna's warm hospitality and rich breakfast. We warmly recommend staying here for anybody wish to visit Brugh

Breakfast very good,great location
The hospitality was top notch! Clean room, great shower and lovely breakfast.
Blue Room was excellent. Actually whole 2nd level with coffee kitchen room. Breakfast was awesome and the host was very nice and helpful.
This is a lovely B&B and we throughly enjoyed our three nights. The B&B is a short 5 minute walk from Bruges' Markt and the main shopping / tourist areas. The room had everything we needed, it was clean and tidy and the bed very comfortable. The room was serviced each day too. There was also a separate sitting room with a kitchenette which came in handy. Breakfast was delicious with yoghurt, cereal...
Beautiful, old building with an entire floor to yourself. Spacious room with separate sitting area and kitchenette. Convenient locations to the center of Bruges. Spectacular hostess and full breakfast with made to order eggs, fresh bakery breads, cold cuts, cheese, and fruits. Cappuccino machine and teas.
Value for money. Great location. On a quiet street, but only a five minute walk to the Markt Square. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was fresh and more than adequate and the young woman that was providing breakfast was exceptionally gracious and helpful. Just one word of warning. A certain level of fitness and determination is require if your room, like ours, is on the third...
The hotel is very well located and very clean. We were satisfied with the room and the service; however, we stayed one night less than planned, leaving the room vacant at 10:00 AM so they could re-let it. We requested a refund but are awaiting a response.
It was a quiet and pleasant hotel.
In the center of Bruges, good accommodation in the heart of the city. I stayed in the triple room with an en suite bathroom. The room was clean and the bed was soft but comfortable. There's a small luggage storage area for those who want to use it. Breakfast isn't included, but there's a Carrefour Express nearby. Overall, everything was fine.
The location of Guesthouse Sonatine is great because it is quite centrally located and you all big attractions are walking distance. We got an upgrade on our room which was also a very nice move.
A lovely place run by lovely people, we were very sad to hear they are leaving this property - hopefully it will pass into the hands of equally caring hosts. The location is wonderful, within walking distance of everything you could possibly need, and right next door to a famous brewery :) It was also one of the few budget-friendly options we could find in Bruges, but the value was absolutely beyond...
Amazing location, price and views. The hosts are really friendly

Breakfast was great. Parking very tight but available for car. Staff was great and friendly.
Nice area.
Lovely B&B, good location.
Great location, it’s a 15 min walk to old central Bruges. The room is a little small, but comfortable, although some nicer pillows would be good. Be aware the walk up is steep and narrow, like so many European rooms. The breakfast part is a little pricey but nice, I think if you book it in advance you can save a few$. The parking is close, but it’s a tight fit in the garage...
Fine and clean room, friendly manager, everything as it was supposed to be.
Thanks!
Clean and confortable. City center at a walking distance
Loved this place..very clean and rooms are so good..Staffs are so friendship..Very good breakfast and its only 600m from city center on foot..and its very near to bus stop.I really recommend this hotel..
Not expensive, very friendly staff, and a great location. If you need a nice room to spend a (few) nights you've found the place

Checking in at 3pm and checking out at 11am are a bit rigid! Hotel should be flexible🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
We enjoyed our stay as a family of four in one of the larger rooms. The room was clean and very spacious. The host Gael was brilliant at responding to our parking query and was kind enough to let us use the carpark after we had checked out. The location is brilliant- it’s very safe and only a 15min walk into the centre of Bruge.
The only two things I will mention is the coffee machine had not been...
The location of this property was fantastic, easy to find, walking distance to the centre but away from all the noise! Very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. The property is beautifully presented and maintained, feels very secure & like a small hotel with a lovely foyer. Our room was lovey! Small but had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, lovely big windows (in case the weather is nice & warm...
I have just returned from a few days at La Maison Bruges and feel thoroughly relaxed. It was just what we needed as a break from London. I stayed in the Sweet Caramel room which has a balcony overlooking the neighbouring houses. Other than a bit of gardening and the occasional car, it was complete silence. Room came with a decent fan and small fridge. Bed was very comfy and the place was spotless....
A very nice B&B. Emile is a very good host. The rooms were very nice and clean , and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was really good and well presented. Although due to ongoing roadworks we were unable to use their own private parking, this was not a problem for us as Emile showed us where we could park , and it it was only a 5minute walk from the B&B, and also free, so it was all good...
We will definitely be staying here on our next visit to Bruges! Everything was spot on, we couldn’t fault anything, the breakfast was great and the service outstanding. Thank you for being wonderful hosts and helping out with the parking (due to circumstances well beyond your control).

The facilities were good; I liked the curtain over the bed for added privacy, and the storage space under the bed. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. The only downsides were the lack of an elevator and the absence of shampoo and soap, although I always bring my own just in case.
It’s a nice hostel. Bed are equipped with curtains that allow privacy. The shared bathroom are clean and spacious.
A low price good option to stay for one night!
Heater was off. You have to turn it on by yourself.
Great location, good service, and they spoke Spanish. Recommended!
It’s not clean at all
I will not never stay there and I can’t recommend any solo traveler
