Bruges, Sint-Jakobsstraat 40 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is located near the central square, making it convenient to walk around. The room is tiny, but it has an electric kettle, a hairdryer, good plumbing with strong water pressure, shower gel, and liquid hand soap. For breakfast, they offer any egg dish option, coffee can be ordered separately, and there's a good selection of cold cuts, cheese, natural yogurt, and fruit.
We had an excellent stay in a lovely hotel. Its in a centre location yet far enough away from amny noise. The room wad clean and well presented. The bathroom was very large, the bedroom was very clean with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast wad delightful full very fresh with freshly made eggs anyway you like it.
Great location and delicious breakfast.
Very helpful and attentive staff. Would certainly return to this hotel on my next visit to Bruges.
Staff were very helpful and amiable, and accommodated our later arrival. The room was a little weather worn but served its purpose for a quick weekend break. We were on the ground floor right at the front of the hotel which meant that was a bit of noise of an evening and had to keep the curtains closed all the time or would be on view to everyone walking past ☺️ Breakfast was fab and all in all a pleasant...
Staff are so friendly, helpful and would do anything possible to help you. Perfectly placed for the Christmas market. Would definitely go back again. Thankyou.
A lovely property, very convenient to everything I wanted to see. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and pleasant and the room was very well appointed. Highly recommend.

The hotel was ok, it was in a good location and handy to have car parking. Unfortunately during our stay the hotel stunk! There was constantly a smell of what I think was stagnant water, maybe they had issues with a drain somewhere.
Good value for money. It's a bit far from the center.
Ideal for those seeking comfort and tranquility.
Room was super clean and spacious. Comfortable bed, great location to all the sights of Bruge, walking distance away.
We stayed for three nights at the Golden Tree Hotel in Bruges and truly enjoyed the charm of this historic property. The room had an old-world character that felt cozy and inviting. The bed and carpet were very comfortable, and the lamps added a lovely touch of homeliness.
Housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay, keeping everything clean and tidy. The only issues we noticed were that the...
Amazing breakfast and very calm atmosphere. Friendly staff. Unfortunately the car park was full but staff showed us where the public car park was which was very close to the hotel and cheap. Everything was walkable from the hotel.
bruges stay
very small room, one side of the bed might as well be touching the wall but it was comfortable at least. not a lot of space for 2 people to spread out with suitcases. there was a walk-in shower but it was very tight. the location is good, maybe a few blocks from the edge of town and near a lot of restaurants. this is more of a boutique hotel.

Clean rooms. Great service. Perfect location if you have a car. Highly recommend.
We stayed for three consecutive nights. The bathtub faucet took a lot of trying to turn into a shower—isn't it time for repairs? As for the cleanliness, you'd need 500-degree vision to miss the stains on the floor, basin, and bathtub. Cleaning is almost unheard of. Room amenities were rarely replenished, and coffee was never refilled after finishing it. Breakfast options were limited, with whole fruit...
Booked this hotel due to the favourable reviews and the location to FC Bruges stadium.
We had a good really welcoming check in experience from the friendly receptionist.
The rooms were spotless and large.
The bar staff were exceptional as was the reasonably priced food.
It had transpired that the hotel was run by a family who are, to a person, the friendliest people you could meet.
It’s a bit out of...
A great night due to an excellent meal with friends, a spacious room and a very comfortable bed, followed by a breakfast in the sunny veranda with a well selected buffet. The hotel is situated within minutes of Bruges but you never notice/hear the busy road 👌😊
We had a lovely stay at this hotel probably the best part was the hotel staff who just couldn’t do enough for you. We ended up in Bruges unable to get a taxi and the exceptionally kind receptionist came , in his own car , and picked myself and my family up, you just can’t get service like that these days so grateful and could not speak more highly of him.
It was a comfortable hotel in the outskirts of Bruges.

The hotel is situated in a fantastic location, about 5 minutes walk from the shops and square. It has a lovely atmosphere on entry, lovely lighting and decor. The room was lovely. We had a 3rd floor (top) room which was very nice. Plenty of storage, towels, lovely comfy bed, tea/coffee facilities. The square pillows were a little odd but functioned fine. A great value room with a nice view across the...
No frills room that is walking distance to old town. Streets are abit quiet but I don't see unsafe at all. I will be back at samw place should I visit this charming town!
Nice hotel in a quiet street a little bit away from the crowds. Our room was a decent size, the bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water, all good things. Staff was very pleasant. Lack of vegetables at breakfast was our only concern.
All of the staff are friendly, helpful and personable. Location is good if not a little easy to lose your bearings walking the streets! Our room was a reasonable size with good facilities, but it was hot and stuffy and difficult to regulate the temperature... I didn't like having to download an app to my phone to be able to switch the ceiling fan on. When you open the windows mosquitos find their way...
Quaint hotel within walking distance of the centre and main places to visit. Comfy bed, nice shower and nice and clean.
Great location close to the centre but away from the noise. Front desk were friendly and I was able to store my bicycle, although a shame you have to pay extra for this. Bed was comfy and room has needed amenities. Breakfast options were a bit limited but well stocked considering how busy it got. I would stay here again if revisiting Bruges.

Our stay at Hotel Loreto in Bruges was overall very pleasant. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which truly made a difference and made us feel at home.
The only downside was the room, which was quite small and a bit worn, including the bathroom. The ceiling had been freshly painted but only on small spots; it would have...
Owners were fantastic and very understanding when we had an incident that developed without our control. Would not hesitate to return, superb location and very well run hotel.
Loved the personal touches and the lovely breakfast. The hotel is really well located both for the centre (~10 mins walk) and the station (~10 mins walk). The location meant that we could also pop back to the hotel during the day. Loved our stay in beautiful Bruges, thank you.
Excellent value for money! The rooms are more than adequate. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable. The bathroom has a bath/shower combination. There is a kettle with coffee, tea and sugar provided. It does not have a/c, but does have a bar fridge, which helped a lot to keep some drinks cold. The service and reception lady are very friendly and helpful. The location, to us, was excellent,...
We stayed at the hotel for two nights with our little baby. The hotel is equipped with an elevator and we also got a cot/crib for our baby. Our hostess was wonderful, warm and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located with walking distance to main tourist attractions, shops and dining places. Great breakfast. Bring your appetite. Perfect before a day of walking. Our host was great.
Very disappointed with the breakfast low quality food. The bakery was not fresh old and crunchy. It being very mush average with no deliciousness. I wish the breakfast would be optional and not as included stay packaged.
We enjoyed our stay at Albert 1. Check in was easy and as there was no elevator we were given assistance to get our luggage up to our room. We parked across the street at the centrum Zand interpark , very close.

Perfect location, close to the train station and to all attractions. Amazing breakfast and lady at the reception is lovely.
Great location, convenient and walkable into town. The best part was the breakfast! Wow! No parking on site but parking garage is close enough. We would definitely stay again!
The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and well maintained with lots of charming Easter decorations. Visited with my Mum for two nights in Bruges. We had a great stay - staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Good distance to the city centre, we got an Uber from the train station which was reasonably priced. Good options at breakfast, this was buffet style and very tasty, plenty of choice. The dining room is beautiful with sufficient space. You can hear the bell...
Really Enjoyed our stay Location: perfect walking distance from everything, but set back enough to be quiet. Breakfast: great - good range of options, constantly restocked and good fresh coffee. Rooms: very clean, beds were comfortable, shower was nice and hot and the rooms were what you expect size wise in Europe, not big but big enough considering the price. Staff: professional and available to answer...
Location is perfect close to Borg Square and Christmas markets. We got an Uber from the station, was reasonable price, quick and easy. Hotel is traditional but we stayed in modern annexe at back meaning best of both worlds. Extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style, really relaxed and plenty of choice. I would definitely recommend here.
The Patritius is on a quiet street in Bruges, but walking distance to everything. This family-run hotel is extremely welcoming. The best thing is the location. It is right next to the Christmas market. The owners are very nice. He can explain everything for you. He is always welcome and happy to help you. The room is clean but pretty old style, but it’s very clean. They have all style toilet and that’s it
Very good location but no warning about: 1. Cannot enter the road to the hotel between 1-6pm without prior registration. 2. Even if you drive into the road after 6pm the nearest parking spaces are blocked for construction 3. The bells will ring every 5-10 minutes from the morning onwards 4. A LOT of mosquitoes.
The hotel is basic no frills but was perfect for us for a couple of nights. We booked a triple room for myself my husband and our 11 year old son. The room was huge and also had a little kitchen area which was great. The location is great right off the main square. There is not air con but they do provide a large fan which was enough to cool the room when sleeping. The shower room had a shower over...
Good location and walking distance to the main attractions and local restaurants. The only issue is the noise level from the hotel room. Since there's no AC we have to keep the windows open but that means you can hear people walking and talking in the streets, along with the luggages. If you want to sleep in, you'll be awaken by the church bells at 9 am.
The room is quite tiny, not much space around...
Very good location for exploring Bruges, a bit far from the train station but right in the center. The room is adequate, with slightly dated but functional furniture.

Very comfortable apartment. Well equipped and cozy. Situated in the oldest part of the city. The host showed us the cellar which was built in the 14th century.
The Sint Donaas apartment is large and spacious. It is equipped with all comforts and is located just a short walk from the center of Bruges. The welcome was very welcome.
This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The area of the apartment was spacious, the style of the room felt very Flemish. It was a very beautiful and very welcoming place to stay in one of my favourite cities in the world.
Welcome drinks with Tom and his father upon arrival with other guests including a brief history of the building. Fully equipped, secure loft apartment for us 6 ladies for the weekend exploring Bruges and within walking distance of shops, restaurants etc.
We stayed at De Drie Koningen as a group of mature friends for 6 days, and everything was wonderful — from the comfortable bedrooms with private showers to the beautiful living room where we could gather around the large dining table. The cozy, fully equipped kitchen and the lovely balcony made our mornings especially enjoyable. And the pool and lawn in the yard were a real bonus — we only wish we...

A sweet and small hotel in the center of Brugges. Good breakfast and kind service! The rooms were quite small but they had beautiful view outside the windows.
The staff was lovely and the room was very clean and comfortable but the room was very noisy. Someone took out the trash/bottles at 11pm every night right next to our room. And we were on the ground floor so we could hear every time someone walked up the stairs or in the room above us.
Very good location. Rooms are clean and the service is great. Didn't try the food but it looks fine.
A very cozy and friendly hotel. Else and David were our hosts and they run a great little place. We had room 5 which was on the 2nd floor and faced the back courtyard. It was very quiet and had pleasant view. Breakfast was served from 8.30 to 10.30. They made great coffee and I always had a croissant. I highly recommend Hotel Bla Bla when visiting Bruges!
Did not do breakfast since was running the race, but buffet options looked very good. Very convenient location, rooms were enough for just myself, and loved there was a courtyard garden where you can bring food and eat, or just sit. Friendly english speaking staff, despite close to main street, it was surprisingly quiet.
We really enjoyed staying here during our Bruges vacation. It was very clean with nicely decorated rooms and a solid breakfast. David was super communicative and fun to chat with.

Pretty standard continental breakfast which seemed a bit pricey but we'd definitely stay again.

Beautiful family room in a lovely hotel in the city centre where everything was in walking distance. The room was a very good size and very clean with special touches like the towels being made into teddy bears which my daughter loved.
I could not fault this hotel and would stay again

However to rate this 5 star it would have been great to have a few more mirrors in the room, as you can imagine 4 women getting ready 1 mirror in the bathroom wasn’t ideal, we could have done with a few in the bedrooms too. Unfortunately, they had an event in their ballroom, I was told 150 people. Hence it was very noisy, and it would have been better if we had been told before so we could get ear defenders!
It was too late to ask for a different room. Our room overlooked the road at the front of the hotel. It is in a good location for a meeting I attend twice a year, and I will try for a better room next time.
Very comfortable, clean room. Excellent view. All very positive. If I had to make a criticism it would be the lack of coffee making facilities in the room.
The breakfast was good, and the environment was very nice.

Bruges, noordzandstraat 95, 8000 Bryugge, Zapadnaya Flandriya, Belgiya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Good location, short walk to train station, Bruge centre & attractions. Clean rooms, nice bathroom & basic toiletries provided. Rooms are plain but reasonable price so cannot complain Downsides: water provided but not in the fridge, this was never replaced; bed was never made & room never cleaned; was not given new toilet roll Breakfast was awful! Not worth the money. Service at check in was...
Superb location - just 5 minute walk to Market Square. We walked around Bruges for the whole time we were there - very accessible and lots of things to do. Our room was spacious (accessed by lift to the 3rd floor) clean and in very good condition. We were on the side of the hotel so there was a little noise from the road but not bad at all. Reception in the hotel is small and not always manned but...
My partner and I stayed here in December 2024. Pros - Room was very spacious and the bed was big & comfy. There was an enormous amount of wardrobe space - 2 full-sized wardrobes to hang clothes in (although not many hangers), 2 regular-sized cabinets and one long cabinet with plenty of shelf space, so it was very easy to stash all of your belongings - Bathroom was modern and the shower was also huge...
We were staying elsewhere but came here twice to eat. Nice restaurant it was very hot and cooler to eat inside. Very reasonably priced food and drink Lasagne was 15 euros and an excellent cheese salad 18 euros. Similar prices for other meals. Would recommend.
This is a strange hotel. We chose it because it is on the edge of the old city within easy walking distance to the sights, and within walking distance to the train station. The room ws large, clean, and airy, and for a three-star hotel in Bruges it was pretty cheap at about €125 a night. But the service was very poor. There was no one at the desk most of the time and they didn't make up our room during...
Hard to find at first, I had to ask locals, but it is walking distance from Brugges Station and overlooking the square on the ring road just north of the station. As it is a corner building the entrance is the first door on the side street overlooking the restaurants. Good food options outside and walking distance to town centre and sights. I was hit but a very bad rain storm so ended up spending rest...
