Had a wonderful holiday. Really neat place, very helpful and kind staff. I could store my bike safely in the hotel for the night.

We've been here before and were greatly disappointed when the staff rudely turned us away saying they only serve big groups from 2 pm onwards. Not family friendly anymore!

BAD accommodation, very very RUDE receptionist!!!!! NEVER book this Hotel!!!! The receptionist called the police just because I did not like the room and wanted to leave the hotel, without staying at the room at all!!! She was threatening me to recive cash money (behind the table) for the reservation..... Worst place ever!

Tried only the restaurant. The food is good, prices - 👍. The atmosphere is fantastic. There was live music 🎶 on Saturday evening as well as some fireworks. Beautiful garden with bunnies, peacock, pigeons. Kids loved it!

Excellent place to stop. Very featured, I have to say I loved it, but no kettle to make a brew let it down. Fridge made up for it though

Nice yard but very unfriendly staff. Not willing to help and very unpleasant. They often responde in a bad way and they even argue with clients. For example, today one client complained that she was waiting for a menu for more than half an hour and the waitress argued with her. The client was right. The stuff doesn't speak english. Very bad experience.

Quaint hotel with its own restaurant and pool. Get a room that opens out to the pool. Perfect on these hot sunny days. Our double room was comfortable. Front desk staff were warm and friendly unfortunately the restaurant staff not so good. They were rude and unfriendly except on our last day, we had a male waiter who was so kind and nice that I had to tell him and thank him when we left. Food was good. If you have breakfast there get in early do you are not left with the dregs. They pack it all away promptly at 10am.

The hotel is good, camera is clean and nice. The atmosphere is fresh and relaxed.
The restaurant however is a different problem.

It îs a very inpired combination of style, arhitecture, atmosphere and traditional. It îs kind of place were you come for something different. Beside the location itself the cuisine must be tested, there îs a big diversity of dishes, served well, quick, friendly, at decent prices, making everything just perfect.

I've been there a few times, but only to the restaurant part. It's nice and has probably one of the best views in the area. That's the reason I often get my guests to visit it. Yet this time, I was really disappointed. We have been left to wait quite long without any attention, then waited even longer for just soft drinks and coffee, then once again for something forgotten, then another wait for another forgotten thing. Afterwards zero attention and after 15 minutes unsuccessful attempts of catching the waiter's attention, I went inside to ask for the bill. Then, without asking, the bill was made for paying cash, which caused quite an inconvenience as by having only cards we had to get somehow creative with solving that dilema...

The location and view are absolutely magnificent. The complex has a super potential; plenty of space, good facilities, restaurants with good food, terraces, fun and relaxation. But...
In the meantime, only the price is at the potential level, with the rest lagging behind. The hotel is rather a very large and outdated guesthouse. I don't know how the newer buildings look lime inside, but the main ones where we had the apartment, ate and relaxed are very affected by age. Everything is worn out far beyond the "pattern of time..." taps, doors, furniture, towels, equipment. You could imagine that age has a charm... but not in this case. Here the taps are broken and unpleasant to the touch, the gasket from the mini-fridge is blackened, not to say moldy, the towels are not 2 the same... I do not want to give the impression of a "house of horror," only that the claims of the place are justified only by location and view (which does not imply any merit of the owner) and everything related to them is exploited beyond the acceptable limit.

Great View, But Service Fell Short.
The view of Veliko Tarnovo from the hotel is stunning, definitely the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the room itself was standard, there's nothing special and the sound insulation was poor. We could hear guests in the hallway and neighboring rooms, and some people smoked and talked loudly on their balconies well past midnight. At one point, we even smelled weed, which was unpleasant.
Service was hit or miss. One receptionist was warm and helpful, which I appreciated, but most of the staff came across as unfriendly and unapproachable. It really affected how welcome we felt, especially when I was alone,(especially in the restaurant) I noticed a clear difference in how I was treated when my husband wasn’t with me, which was disappointing.
Breakfast was underwhelming, limited options and more like a cafeteria than a hotel buffet. We didn’t use the pool or sauna, though I did book a massage and hope that will be a better experience.
This was our second hotel during our trip to Bulgaria, and sadly, it left us feeling a bit unwelcome. I don’t expect special treatment, but I do expect basic hospitality, regardless of where someone is from or whether they’re traveling alone.
I hope management considers how important consistent and respectful service is for all guests, not just some.

Waiters should be more attentive to guest's needs. Since last year, the menu became very basic with only very few bulgarian dishes. They count more for the view than for the food quality.

A location with a wonderful view and a lot of things to do: spa, ping-pong, pool. Very nice serving with good food and dancing music. The breakfast is the same every day, but you can work with it. The cofee not so good at breakfast, but you can buy good coffee at the bar.
