The location and view are absolutely magnificent. The complex has a super potential; plenty of space, good facilities, restaurants with good food, terraces, fun and relaxation. But... In the meantime, only the price is at the potential level, with the rest lagging behind. The hotel is rather a very large and outdated guesthouse. I don't know how the newer buildings look lime inside, but the main ones...

Great View, But Service Fell Short. The view of Veliko Tarnovo from the hotel is stunning, definitely the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the room itself was standard, there's nothing special and the sound insulation was poor. We could hear guests in the hallway and neighboring rooms, and some people smoked and talked loudly on their balconies well past midnight. At one point, we even smelled...

Waiters should be more attentive to guest's needs. Since last year, the menu became very basic with only very few bulgarian dishes. They count more for the view than for the food quality.

A location with a wonderful view and a lot of things to do: spa, ping-pong, pool. Very nice serving with good food and dancing music. The breakfast is the same every day, but you can work with it. The cofee not so good at breakfast, but you can buy good coffee at the bar.

Quiet place with a beautiful view and the staff was wonderful!!!! I warmly recommend this place. We ate a delicious pizza and a nice cappuccino.

We stayed for 2 days where we had access to various facilities. I strongly recommend to take advantage of the massage and the Spa!

An accidental choice, turned one of the most favorite places! Loved the hotel - everything is spotless clean, the beds are comfortable and the view is gorgeous. The staff is just fantastic - the owner took us to our car, led us back, cooked for us and made sure we were super comfortable. The breakfast, too, was abundant and delicious :) Felt like VIPs overall.

Food & views. We got them both big time. Three times we returned there to get more and never left disappointed. Service is friendly, food is simple and exceptionally prepared and recommended wine Starosel Merlo was a great pairing. All the meals were prepared fast.

This hotel offers a great view of the fortress from its rooftop, especially during the light show at night. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is delicious. The rooms are large, modern, and comfortable.

The location is perfect. We are at a short walk towards the fortress and at 5-8 minutes walk from center. The room... The bathroom was a disaster. The shower head is needing replacing. The toilet flusher fell off the wall. The toilet seat rocks and rolls which is great if you like to do a bum dance while doing your business. The sink basin has nothing to prevent you losing your ring down. Let’s face it the hotel needs updating but the economy in the region doesn’t allow it. The rooms are comfortable and clean the people are accommodating and friendly. The location is perfect great views and walking distance to everything.

Small hotel that's very very close to the Tsarevets Fortress and has a great view towards it. The rooms that end in 04 have a great view of the Cathedral. Rooms are good, but heating could've been better. Location is excellent. Service was good. Has a parking!!

Not too bad for a short stay. Poor bad linen, the towels had a dark colour, they have been probably white long time ago. Cigarette smell in the rooms. This is a nice hotel in a good location close both to the center and to the fortress. The upper rooms have a good view. In november it was a bit cold in the room. We opted for breakfast but to our surprise the breakfast consisted in an apple and a 7Days chocolate croissant. Tried to get a receipt but the receptionist could not understand what I was asking.

A peaceful village, close to Veliko Tarnovo, and a lovely experience. Although there is certainly space for development, particularly in the rooms, the location has a lovely, relaxing ambiance.

We have visited the Restaurant. The Food was very delicious. The area outside is convenient for Children. There is many Peacocks and other Birds and Animals. It's very funny 🙂. Front of the Restaurant is available big Car Parking for the Clients. Everything is perfect for some special ocoushans or simple for Lunch or Dinner with Friends or Family.

Rooms are old, got a very uncomfortable smelling. Air conditioning systems are old, partially not functional and smells bad as well. Everything else was fine. Ish. We used to stay here every year, but investments are probably inexistent and the place gets old. Probably this was the last year here.

Tried only the restaurant. The food is good, prices - 👍. The atmosphere is fantastic. There was live music 🎶 on Saturday evening as well as some fireworks. Beautiful garden with bunnies, peacock, pigeons. Kids loved it!

The host is an extraordinary woman. We booked 1 night through Booking, and when we arrived we decided to stay one more night and we expected her to check us out, but she said "No problem". The first morning we had free breakfast through genius, and the second we expected to pay but it was still free. It is quiet, clean, beautiful surroundings. We are satisfied! It's placed on the edge of the serpentine road. In the night time Veliko Tarnovo lights up the view, while in the daytime you can see it from an isometric view. The room was nice and spacious. We had the posibility to cook in a large pot in the garden. It was somehow funny, somehow unpleasing that we had a hole in the door.

There is no elevator but they carry my luggage to secod floor. The window and door to balcony are sound proof so it is very quiet. The bed is little too soft and material of sheets don't feel like cotton. The breakfast is very simple.
