Knai Bang Chatt in Kep

We had an extremely pleasant stay here. The place is very charming, the staff is extraordinarily helpful and kind, the food was excellent all around. We wish we could’ve stayed longer, and would’ve definitely planned our trip differently to stay longer at this place. We will certainly try to come back.

We loved the property!. The room was on second floor with balcony overlooking the water. The food was delicious!!!. The chef and restaurant manager went out of way to cook us delicious crab dishes with a personal dinner on the balcony!!. The staff also took time to bike with us in the park and along the beach. It was a memorable stay ! . We hope to visit again. Thanks so much to the wonderful Staff and Chef Choun.

We were greeted as we arrived and immediately felt welcomed by the team We were given a tour of the hotel and facilities before being escorted to our room Room was fantastic overlooking the pool and gardens Food was delicious with fabulous breakfast spread and lots of choice All staff made us welcome and relaxed and in particular MP was a star

There was only one other couple staying at the resort when we were there (it was full the week before), so we really had this beautiful place to ourselves. We were lucky to have an upstairs room overlooking the sea which was probably the best room in the resort. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and looked after us very well. Lovely pool but if you wanted to sit on the beach, there were a few loungers available. There is a restaurant in the resort, but also 5 minutes walk on the seafront is the Wave restaurant offering à la carte as well as fine dining. They are owned by the resort, so bills can be charged to your room. Central Kep is about 45 minutes walk or a short tuk tuk ride.

We had a lovely three nights stay at Knai Bang Chatt Resort at Kep, Cambodia. We were two couples and the staff were just fabulous, especially to my husband who has mobility issues. The rooms were spacious and well laid out. The resort was lovely and quiet, ideal for relaxation after a number of days on the go. Our best wishes go to Impe for whom nothing was too much trouble. We decided we would like to take him home. I couldn't speak highly enough of this resort, it's location and the staff. We wish all of them well. Definitely value for money.

Knai Bang Chatt was a perfect landing spot after almost 24 hours of traveling. It is a quiet, oceanfront oasis that has all the amenities you could want. The food is delicious, with multiple restaurants to choose from. A lovely pool and lots of outside places to sit with a cocktail. They can arrange a number of different tours of the region for you as well. The best thing about it though is the staff. They are THE BEST. Helpful, responsive, and always with a smile. They truly make the place special.

We spent an idyllic 5 days at Knai Bang Chatt Resort near Kep. From the start our experience was little short of perfect. We stayed in a charming room in the Blue Villa, which used to be the governor's summer residence. The surroundings of lush tropical gardens, lovingly tended by a small army of gardeners, are delightful. The infinity pool with comfortable and attractive loungers provides a tranquil and refreshing respite from local sightseeing trips. We organised our own sightseeing with a local tuk-tuk driver, Wan, who speaks some English. We hired him for a few hours each morning so we could choose where we wanted to go and for how long. It worked out very well, and much less expensive than the organised tours from the hotel. We saw the vast area of abandoned French villas, the Crab Market, and a beautiful monastery and temple. On another occasion we saw the salt-panning area and the Bo Tree pepper farm. We enjoyed a superb massage in the spa from two charming and accomplished masseuses. The highlight of our trip has to be the superb manager of Knai Bang Chatt, Ronald Empirial, or Empi for short, who hails from the Phillipines. He runs the place effortlessly, anticipating one's every need. He trains the staff to the same high standards so that they also use their intelligence to make the guests' experience a delight. He was able to advise us on restaurants to go to in the local crab market, which is an experience not to be missed! When he became aware that our taxi was coming for us in the afternoon, he arranged a late check out for us without being asked. . Nothing was too much trouble for Empi! We had a wonderful stay in Paradise! N.B. Cambodia is very safe. We were treated very well by all the Cambodians we met. The trouble on the border with Thailand does not impinge at all on the country as a whole.

It was very peaceful and relaxing in manicured grounds with a sea view and lovely pool. The room was plain - in keeping with the colonial nature of the building but was well-equipped with extremely comfortable bedding and very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It is within easy walking distance of the crab market which has a range of places to eat. Meals at the hotel were freshly cooked and of a high standard. We did the cookery class which was great fun made special by the executive chef and the restaurant manager.

My stay at Ngai Bang Chatt Resort was far more than a vacation—it was a rejuvenating retreat that nurtured my body, mind, and spirit. I was there for their Autumn alignment retreat program. From the moment I arrived, I felt surrounded by green, the sea, calm, and thoughtful design. The resort blends nature and architecture perfectly—lush green lawns, serene gardens, and stunning old trees overlooking the sea that give the entire place a peaceful, grounding atmosphere. Everywhere I looked felt like a postcard straight out from the 60s. The property is incredibly well-kept, with gorgeous landscaping and open spaces that invite you to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. I especially loved the sweeping garden views, enjoying the swimming pool, practicing yoga in the wellness center nearby. The buildings themselves are vintage and airy, with a modern tropical feel that fits seamlessly into the natural environment. It’s clear that everything was presented with care, from the open layouts to the relaxing outdoor areas. I also loved how the environment supported my work with the chakras. Everything around me seemed to encourage alignment, clarity, and flow. It’s rare to find a place where the natural energy feels so harmonious and restorative. It is perfect for anyone looking to unwind. I loved everything about my stay. I left feeling refreshed and grateful, and I would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful and beautiful retreat.
