Lux Guesthouse in Battambang

A pleasant environment with large, clean rooms and an excellent mattress and pillow.
There is no safe.
Everything works, but not perfectly, but with a little adaptation it's fine.
There are four floors without an elevator, and the building lacks air conditioning in the common areas.
There is an excellent pool 100 meters away, which is free.
There are windows, but behind grates that prevent them from opening, and the curtains are not blackout.

Check In : 12.11.2025 Check Out : 13.11.2025 Location : The hotel is located at the heart of the city. It is just 5 mins walking distance to the central market and the old town of Battambang. It is easily walkable to a lot of the must see city destinations. It is easily accessed by all means of transportation and quite near to the Giant Ibis bus station. Lobby : The lobby is small yet clean. The guy manning the lobby is very good. I can see a lot of motorcycles parked inside the lobby which means the hotel allow the motorcycles to be parked inside. The safety is commendable. I love the safety it gives. Room : The room is spacious. I got what I paid for. The bathroom does not have any fan blower to take out the odour. Hence after doing business, I kept on flushing the bowl. The bed is good and the mirror is okay. The room is old but cozy to sleep for the night. The furniture is old and the mini bar is super ancient. Facility : The hotel does not have any elevator. So elderly and disable have to think twice to stay here. I dont think it has a GF room. The pool is not in the hotel. You need to walk a bit to the other place. Satisfaction : 95%. Noise level is low. I get a very good night sleep in the hotel. I can recommend it. For just a night sleep, it is a good choice. For long term, go to other place.
