The Unique Angkor Villa in Siem Reap

The 2 big dogs will try to bite yout leg off and the people here are just simply going to watch it happen!
There are 2 medium to large sized dogs who are always left to roam around openly at the entrance and are extremely untamed, I have watched these two troublemakers bark and run at numerous other people and best of all the staff just let's it happen. Can't possibly think of a more creative way to drive away business, no wonder it's always empty.

The stuff is the worst I can imagine. Greedy, lazy and incompetent. 2 dogs running around the whole day, blocking the lobby, begging for foodǰ. We did not eat there anything. The room cleaner are loud and do not show up 2/4 days. A public school is very close and the kids scream the national anthem every morning at 7am like a wake-up call + ringing bells all the time. At check-out the manager blamed us for breaking something in the bathroom, but it was broken at ckeck-in already. We needed to argue for not paying it. Never again...

The most dusty place I have ever been to.
After 1 night, I showed the staff a picture of the dust on the cabinet and told them there is also dust on the fridge and the ceiling fan (actually the doors of the cabinet were full of dust, too)
Was gone for the day, and in the evening they had only cleaned the obvious sides of the ceiling fan. Nothing else. First time in many years that I had to take medication for my dust allergy in a hotel. And I have slept in cheaper places in Siem Reap and Thailand.
So that evening we told them we want to leave the next morning instead of staying longer. Next morning, they acted as if it was too complicated, and had conveniently lost our receipt and couldn't alter it to an earlier check out date.
After we insisted for a while, they found it right on the desk and acted as if they didn't understand how to alter the check out date. Long discussion later, they crossed out the date and wrote the following day on it (we had told them we want to leave the night before)

Also I can forgive a bit of mold in a climate where guests shower multiple times a day, but the orangey chalk accumulation under the bathtub faucet must have taken a while to build up since the last time someone cleaned there.
They use the front desk hall as a garage.

It's not comfortable to live here.
