Green Leaf Boutique in Siem Reap

Quiet oasis, lovely setting, friendly and attentive staff, restaurant and bar, funky color scheme, pool, and ... cats!

An oasis of tranquility in Siem Reap. The staff members are the stars here. They were all welcoming, friendly, and helpful during my stay, and even continued to help me during my stay elsewhere in the area. The breakfast was fresh and healthy and I found it to be a real bargain. The laundry service was also a great value while traveling. The hotel helped set up a guide to Angkor and also a tuk-tuk driver (Mr. Lam and his brother were great; highly recommended for your stay). My room was quiet and the AC worked well. Once again, a big big thank you to Lin and Sokun and the others at Green Leaf!

An accidental last minute find that ended up being the exact thing I needed to relax and hide from the world. It was quiet and peaceful. The staff people were wonderfully helpful - so appreciated since I had not researched or planned anything. There are only ten or so rooms, meaning no crazy bustle or a packed pool. There are cats! And beautiful murals. The mini fridge was perfect to chill damp washcloths for a nice cool down from the heat. The food and drinks were very good. I‘ll be looking for a place like this everywhere I travel. And maybe I’ll return to this oasis again!

I spent 7 nights at the hotel & attended a 6 days yoga retreat at Tavoos Garden.

The whole experience indeed exceeded any expectation!

I booked a retreat involving a 6-day stay at the Green Leaf Boutique hotel which is slightly outside of the busy city center of Siem Reap. The hotel is well run by Mr Lin and his very pleasant and competent staff who can all speak English. It is a small intimate hotel with spacious accommodation and swimming in the central court yard. They have an ego friendly policy as well as being nonprofit.

It is easy walking distance to the city centre circa 15 minutes or you can get a lift from the hotel to there by the resident tuk tuk.

The room I got was clean, comfortable and spacious with a hanging net over the bed, very good air-con, large walk-in shower in en-suite with segregated toilet. There was a covered semi-private porch in front of my room where you could have meals or just lie down and enjoy the heat.

The food was very good, my personal favourites were the maringa omelette and pesto pasta. They cater for both vegans and non-vegans.

The manager Mr Lin was more than helpful in arranging activities such as a blessing from a monk at a local temple, tickets for phare circus and a cooking class as well as some activities in the adjoining Tavoos Gardens like yoga, bokator martial arts, NIA Dance and painting class or have a meal in one of their wooden gazebo huts.

The tranquil surroundings by the pool was my nirvana during my stay. The pool is a good size and depth at a nice temperature that cooled in the dry season heat.

The connection to Tavoos Gardens offers services and an experience that most other hotels or boutiques won’t have. I miss the place since I left and I would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

I stayed at Green Leaf Boutique Hotel & Luxury Retreat Center for my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Course from late July until mid August. It was an amazing experience due to my stay at Green Leaf. The staff were attentive and so wonderful. After my 20 days stay, I felt that the staff were a part of my family and I was a part of theirs. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the pool was refreshing and relaxing, and the food was exceptional. Thank you Green Leaf for a fabulous time!

Hip little boutique hotel, great wall art and full of gorgeous orchids and frangipani trees. Balcony room was spacious with large double bed, good sized bathroom with toilet separate from shower!! (A rarity in Asia)
Lin and the rest hotel and restaurant staff are excellent and attentive. Next door wellness centre Tavoos is fantastic.
