Undergoing renovation but a lot of the work is really rough. The room we were in was renovated but a lot of the furniture was is fairly banged up, sink was oddly low and generally not in great shape especially if recently renovated.

This was a great hotel to stay and see the Falls. It’s very close. We had issues booking through a third party and the staff was very attentive and helpful with the situation. They even got on the phone to get us our money back from said third party (after we had our own issues calling them) and got us rebooked that same day for cheaper than what we originally paid. This place rocked. Amazing hospitality. Breakfast prepared with such care. It feels old style olden times but you get all the bells and whistles which is an experience unknown to the modern man. Nice standard hotel room. Sound proofing is terrible. You can hear everything in the rooms beside you.

We came a little late due car trouble. The registrar was polite, patient, and explained everything. Gave directions and instructions on visiting sites if we had time. We were there for a funeral and not sure of good places to take children.

Room was fairly clean, as far as motel rooms go. I liked how each room has its own unique decor - made it feel home-y. Parking is free, which is a plus compared to motels closer to the falls. We had a great stay. Clean, comfy, well located for short drives to local attractions. Our room's decor was fun; we had a small table with a couple chairs both inside & outside the room, which was nice for snacking. Nice bathroom.

Nice short stay to visit the Falls! Room was clean. No in-unit AC or heat. Thankfully we had good weather while there but don’t know how hot/cold it would be in different seasons. Bed wasn’t very comfortable (as expected). Helpful to have in room mini fridge. Convenient 5 min drive to the Falls area. Property owner is a nice man!

Ok for the price… Although renovated and clean, the room was small with a smaller TV but did enjoy a fridge, microwave and toaster oven. No air and adjacent a busy road.

The hotel was clean and tidy, beautifully decorated, and I had a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was also delicious. The hotel was run by a Chinese couple who were very welcoming, and we even discovered they were from the same hometown! It was a particularly enjoyable experience during my trip.

This place is Disney for kids. There isn't much negative to say about GWL. This is the 4th time for us. So you know, if we're willing to pay big bucks they must be doing something right. Its been a looking time since I've been to GWL. We went a week ago with the kids, and I have zero complaints. The place is very well kept, the staff are sooo polite, the room was immaculate, very well designed and omg the bed was so comfortable. Our room was kn the 4th floor, and the kids had a bunk bed upstairs with tv and bathroom. Downstairs had a fireplace, balcony, tv, sofa bed and two queen beds...

Always a great time with the family and kids here. There is a fun, welcoming atmosphere and there are always activities and events that are family oriented. The waterpark is the main attraction for us, and there are a good variety of slides for kids as young as 2 to adults. The wolf tail is a great drop slide and is pretty thrilling.
