A good hotel at a reasonable price, with clean and comfortable rooms and a decent breakfast selection.

The overall service was excellent, and I was pleasantly upgraded to a larger room thanks to my IHG Platinum membership.

Special thanks to Lucy at the front desk for her outstanding service. She even contacted me after check-out while I was already on my business trip to inform me that I had left my adapter in the room. Really appreciated the attentiveness and professionalism.

Overall, a very good hotel with well-trained staff and great hospitality

We landed after midnite so booked a nite stay. Hotel provide free airport transfer and is easy to arrange. Have a pleasant stay.

The room layout is well-designed and clean. The bedding is comfortable and spotless, and the toiletries are also quite good. It's very close to the airport, and the shuttle service was prompt. I'll definitely stay here again next time I need to.

This was a very unsatisfactory stay. First, when checking in, I asked the front desk if I could upgrade my room type. The front desk said all rooms were fully booked and an upgrade wasn't possible. I then showed her on Trip.com's external site that all room types were available, indicating the front desk was misleading guests. After seeing this, the front desk immediately changed her tune, saying they only upgrade members and since I wasn't a member, I couldn't be upgraded.

Secondly, upon entering the room, there was a strong musty smell. The floors were filthy. Is this how an IHG-affiliated chain handles quality control? The hygiene was truly appalling. The floor grout was black, the floor itself was dirty, and the showerhead was old and rusty. The sofa was covered in black stains.

Finally, the towels, bath towels, bed pillows, and duvet covers all had the logo of another hotel, Jingge Hotel. This is an old hotel that was renovated and rebranded as a Holiday Inn Express. How could they pass inspection without changing all the bedding, bath towels, and towels? This is a huge question mark. Also, the fire escape route sign behind the door still listed the hotel name as Jingge Hotel.

As a consumer, I feel deceived. Does Trip.com platform allow such misrepresentation? I will continue to complain to protect my legitimate rights.

It is a very nice hotel located very near to the airport. Be advised it is not close to any metro routes (you have to go to the airport itself for the nearest metro station) so that is not a convenient method of travel for this particular hotel. The room is very comfortable and the breakfast buffet is very nice with good options.

It seems to be a new hotel; the interior is nice.

The room was great and clean, and the front desk lady was very helpful.

Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. We drove to the hotel, and there's both an above-ground and underground car park, with charging facilities available. The bedding was comfortable, and they provided extra slippers and toothbrushes upon request. While you can't completely escape the sound of airplanes, I still slept well~

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Guangzhou, which is very close to the airport – a quick 10-15 minute shuttle ride, making it super convenient for early morning flights. The room was clean and tidy, and the soundproofing was good, so I slept soundly through the night. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, making both check-in and check-out a breeze. Overall, it's a standard, practical hotel without any unnecessary frills, and offers good value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I have an early flight.
