Fantastic! It feels less like a hostel and more like a home. I was a bit apprehensive about self check-in at first, worried about long-term guests or hygiene issues, but once I checked in, I realized it was excellent. The owner is a retired soldier and has a very cute Corgi. The first thing they do upon entering is mop the floors, and the bathrooms are so clean they practically sparkle, haha. It's a cozy place where everyone gets along wonderfully, and the owner even takes guests to some hidden gems. It's really great value for money. Even though my time in Yangshuo wasn't the best, if I ever come back to Guilin, I'll definitely stay here again!

It’s not about the price, which was underpriced. It’s not about the dorm rooms, which were clean and comfortable. It’s about the priceless adventures, people, and homely environment which makes this the best accomodation of my life.

This hostel absolutely deserves five stars! The location is fantastic; there's a bus stop right outside, making it super convenient to get to attractions and shopping areas. The common areas are clean and tidy, with cozy and stylish decor. It's really comfortable to chat with friends or read there in the evenings. The owner and other guests are super friendly and enthusiastic; they'll recommend authentic local food and off-the-beaten-path activities, and we even had great conversations. The owner even took photos for us – they're quite good and it was such a heartwarming gesture! Plus, there's an adorable chubby little dog. The beds are comfortable, with just the right firmness in the mattress, and the blankets are clean and odor-free. The soundproofing is also good, ensuring a great night's sleep. The washrooms and toilets are cleaned daily, and hot water is available 24/7, which is more than enough. It offers incredible value for money, and staying here feels just like being at home. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

This was my third stay, and this time they had new beds, duvets, and mattresses, making it much more comfortable than before. Sister Hammer (staff member) still cleaned every day, and the experience was fantastic. The owner took us camping at a beautiful spot, and everyone had a great time. I met some new friends and we even celebrated New Year's together. The next day, after six months of being lost, Feng Qia found her way home, which felt magical and incredibly lucky. I won't say more, five-star recommendation, I'll definitely be back!

This was my first time staying in a youth hostel, and the owner was really nice. They even organized a hike for everyone, so I went hiking up Douji Mountain with some fellow travelers. The scenery was absolutely stunning! The atmosphere was truly fantastic!

By far my favorite hostel I have been to in China. The vibe was great, it was clean and the room was nice. The owner speaks a bit of English and can help you with your plans during your stay. He also organizes trips to local places, which is really amazing!

The room was spotless, and the owner cleaned it every day. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the bed curtain offered a great sense of privacy. The common area felt like home, and every night there were interesting people sharing stories. The hostel's location is superb, right on Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, with tons of food downstairs and close to many attractions. You can walk to Elephant Trunk Hill, Sun and Moon Pagodas, Xiaoyao Tower, and East and West Alleys. The living room has a map and food recommendations made by the owner, which was very thoughtful. It's a really warm and welcoming hostel.

The owner even took us to Xiantaishan to see the 'A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains' painting, which was an absolutely stunning view – so cool! 😎
