Right at the center of Kunshan,
Rooms are very big but gym and pool are not what you would expect.
Breakfast is good.
Friendly staff. Solved issue of first rooms offered having a very heavy smoke-scent.
Would for sure stay here again in the future.

One of the best hotels in Kunshan area, nicely decorated and good amenity overall. Ground floor of building is a Starbucks so very easy to grab ok coffee instead of having terrible ones in most of Chinese hotels.

The hotel is located on the higher floors of the building, offering a great view. I always stay here when I visit Kunshan. The mall next door makes dining very convenient. Perhaps because it was Chinese New Year, it was very crowded, and the breakfast experience was just average.

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at the Golden Eagle Summit Hotel Kunshan, and it was truly an unforgettable day with cherished memories ❤️.

I admit I had a bit of decision paralysis when booking a hotel. Around 9 PM, I decided to call the hotel to inquire about reservation details. To my pleasant surprise, Ms. Wang Xinyi from the reservations department was incredibly enthusiastic and patiently answered all my questions, dispelling all my doubts. That's when I immediately decided on the Golden Eagle.

During our three-day, two-night stay at Summit, Xiaoxin (Ms. Wang Xinyi) provided incredibly attentive care. Not only did she discreetly help me decorate the room while juggling other tasks, creating a wonderful surprise for my husband and me the moment we walked in, but she also thoughtfully offered suggestions for dining and entertainment nearby. Even when she wasn't on duty, she ensured every detail was seamlessly handled, making us feel completely at home and enriching our vacation experience immensely!

I also want to extend my thanks to the entire Golden Eagle Summit service team, including the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff, for collectively helping us create such a warm anniversary atmosphere (and a special shout-out to Chen Jiayao, the concierge at the 29th-floor Western restaurant – your smile is truly uplifting)!

It was hard to say goodbye, and the memories we made are precious. Thank you, Xiaoxin, and thank you, Golden Eagle! We hope our 30 years of happiness can inspire everyone to find lasting joy 💕. Wishing everyone a smooth, peaceful, healthy, and happy 2026! ❣️

The service is excellent, and the overall environment is very good. I've stayed here several times for business trips to Kunshan, but every time there's an issue with the air conditioning – it doesn't heat at all, making the room too cold.

Environment: The hotel lobby is on the 29th floor of a mall, very spacious. The room was huge with a 270-degree city view.
Hygiene: Couldn't really look closely, but I still found some leftover hair in the bathtub and on the bed. Maybe the cleaning was a bit lacking due to the holiday season.
Service: Room service was very fast, as they were right next to my room. However, the items or quantities delivered often differed slightly from what was requested over the phone, though it wasn't a major issue.
I was passing through Kunshan on my way to another city and booked the room last minute that day, so the price was a bit on the expensive side.

This is my second stay at the Golden Eagle Shangmei Hotel, and I can honestly say that both the facilities and the service are impeccable. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone traveling; I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time here too. If I have the chance, I'll definitely choose this place again!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, just about 10 minutes from the high-speed train station, and offers both above-ground and underground parking. This makes it very convenient for guests whether they're using public transport or driving themselves. The hotel lobby is on the 29th floor, renowned as a 'sky lobby'. The view from the lobby bar on the 29th floor is absolutely stunning. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and enthusiastic. Amanda was especially thoughtful and attentive. The room was clean and hygienic, and the facilities were very well-maintained. The rooms also feature floor-to-ceiling windows, offering fantastic views. Breakfast had a rich and diverse selection, and the timing was perfect. This hotel is highly recommended for both friends traveling together or business trips.

Upon check-in, the front desk staff were warm, professional, and processed everything quickly. They even proactively upgraded my room type, which was a pleasant surprise. The room design is modern and minimalist, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering expansive views, perfect for overlooking the city's nightscape – ideal for a get-together with friends. The room was clean, and the bed was soft, ensuring a good night's sleep. Right below the hotel is the Golden Eagle International Shopping Center, making dining and shopping super convenient. Breakfast offers a wide variety, combining Chinese and Western styles, with freshly cooked Suzhou-style noodles and mini wontons, which are very characteristic of the local area. The front desk also mentioned a gym on the 10th floor.

What I want to praise most is the hotel's service; they are always very responsive, and everyone is enthusiastic. This time, it was a friend's birthday, and Amanda thoughtfully presented a handwritten birthday card and fruit. It was very heartwarming and definitely worth commending. Whether it's for a friends' gathering, a business trip, or a weekend getaway, this is an ideal choice in Kunshan. Highly recommended! We'll definitely choose this place again next time we meet up.
