Sheraton is a safe pick for Zhenjiang – centrally located and within walking distance to the train station. The receptionists and cleaning staff were excellent and so helpful, although I expected the staff at the restaurant to be better. Would appreciate if they installed coffee machines in each room – instant coffees are a thing of the past in five-star hotels.

I chose this hotel because I was heading to Yangzhou the next day and was looking for a five-star hotel near the train station. It's an older hotel, and the lobby is still grand and opulent. The room was decent and met expectations. Overall, I was satisfied, but there are two areas for improvement:
1. The toilet room has no shelves whatsoever, which is very inconvenient for placing a phone or other items.
2. I booked an executive room, which included a light meal, but the selection was quite limited. There were no complimentary drinks or fruit in the room. The breakfast was also quite basic and didn't quite live up to the five-star rating.

The room was quite clean and comfortable, and getting to various attractions was easy and convenient by taxi. The staff were also very kind. There's a local specialty 'Guogai Noodle' restaurant right next to the hotel, and it's also very close to Zhenjiang Station.

The front desk service was excellent, and the breakfast spread was impressive. The room was also very quiet.

The hotel's facilities are really old. The TV in the room doesn't support casting, there's no mini-fridge, and the air conditioning wasn't on. The only thing saving this place is the excellent service from the staff. The front desk employees were enthusiastic and responsive to our feedback. This hotel could be great if they renovated it, especially since the location is pretty good.

The hotel's location is excellent, right near Wanda Plaza, so you don't have to worry about food, drinks, or entertainment. I happened to catch the Super League when I was there and even watched a match at Wanda, which was great. The front desk service at the hotel is fantastic, and the housekeeping team is very thoughtful; they even left a children's toothbrush and a bathtub liner when they cleaned.

The room facilities were decent, and the large bathtub was very comfortable for a soak. The room itself was also quite spacious.

Choosing to stay at the Sheraton Zhenjiang during the Qingming Festival was a huge mistake! I've never been so eager to write a review right after checking out. Paying over 700 yuan a night for this experience truly left me speechless.

Let's start with the service. Whether it was the front desk during check-in or ordering room service, almost every staff member I encountered had a stern expression, no smile, and didn't even greet me. Do guests owe you money? Is this the management standard for a five-star hotel?

I can understand that the hotel is old, and I can overlook outdated room facilities and poor soundproofing. But what's absolutely unbearable is the air conditioning. It's spring now; surely it shouldn't only have a heating function, right? It was 27 degrees Celsius outside, and it was 27 degrees inside the room too! And this was after two days of communication! On the first day at noon, I complained about the heat. They said they were debugging the AC and suggested I open the window halfway. The next day at noon, it was still 'debugging' and completely unresolved. I had to call again before they finally sent a technician to fix it! This hotel has been open for so long; they should know that temperatures are high during the Qingming Festival. Couldn't they have debugged and checked it a few days in advance? Every afternoon I couldn't sleep due to the heat, and my child also tossed and turned for a long time before falling asleep at night. Is customer feedback not processed immediately, but rather delayed in hopes that the customer will just give up?

Besides all this, the breakfast experience was also very poor. It was crowded and noisy, and the platters and food items weren't refilled promptly. The breakfast selection was also just mediocre. The duvet and duvet cover kept shifting, adding to the uncomfortable sleep all night due to the high room temperature. I will definitely never come back again.

Great location, excellent room amenities and service. The breakfast was generous, and the Executive Lounge dinner had a unique touch.

The location is fantastic, right next to Wanda Plaza, the train station, and the bus station. It's super convenient for dining and shopping. The service was quite good, and the cleanliness was decent. What I was really pleased with was the soundproofing in the room; I got a great night's sleep. Thumbs up!
