Positive: good wifi. Hot shower. Cheap. Free shampoo n bath. Small towels. The staff are quiet accomodating.

Negative: difficult to find. Old building
Old elevator. No luggage storage. No free water. Small space.

Nice man working here, very helpful and kind.

The elevators are split into ODD and EVEN number floors. If your room is on 9F for example, take the ODD elevator (it was in the middle) the right one is EVEN. You could go to 10F on the even elevator and then walk down the stairs too.
Check in/Check out was on 5F.
There is a little lobby at the base of the building sometimes someone is there to
help you.

Room was nice, you have to expect small rooms anywhere in Hong Kong. Good water pressure for the shower. There was body wash and shampoo. The pillow and duvet was comfortable.
Even had housekeeping, which was pleasant.
Only the elevators took a really long time and sometimes skipped levels.
Great location.

I am solo traveler, I had stayed at this location in November 2025 and I have to say it's a no frills, tidy and clean room. The host were very nice and I would def stay here again.

I'm Thai. This was my first time in Hong Kong. I was impressed with this place. The owner took good care of me. They cleaned it every day. The place is easy to travel to many places in the city. I highly recommend it.

Building was ugly when you enter but Room was clean and good amenities. Bed is good for 3 adult. Towel is small but you can ask for extra.

Very good rooms, clean, and complete with what you need. Close to restaurants, mtr, bus stops, convenience store, and a lot more.

The staff are very accommodating and friendly. We have enjoyed our Hong Kong experience and part of it was because of this accommodation. Will definitely recommend and be back here.

The room was clean, close to the metro to go to the airport. I'm glad we got the twin room so I could sleep in my own bed. The bus stop was right in front of the building. Not to hard to get too. The only thing would be it's very small but I think that's how most hotels are in the area.

The location was near perfect—super close to the bus station near Nathan Rd, so basically super easy to access while using the bus.
The room was neat and clean—the bed was comfy and big, the AC worked perfectly, and all electronic outlets worked flawlessly. A foldable table is placed within the room, and there is space underneath the bed to store suitcases. The shower worked fine, and the towels were clean.
Just beware that the rooms are not too soundproof.
The hotel is located on the fifth floor of the building, and the elevator is a bit slow and usually takes quite some time to get to and from the ground floor.

Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here once again if I were to visit Hong Kong again solo.

The location is perfect, but the price is too high for what it is. The rooms are very small to the point that it wasn't possible to keep my luggage open and move in the room. The whole building is sketchy and doesn't reflect the price range that I paid for. There is noise every morning from construction and every night from a music/celebration in a business in the same building. The rooms are not soundproof, and unfortunately, some guests are not used to co-living with others and would make unnecessary noise late at night. The bed and pillow were hard and uncomfortable. The positive things about this are the staff who are very kind and helpful, the wifi that worked fine for me, the cleaning done every day, and the location once again.

Hotel itself was great, it was cleaned everyday and shampoo and shower gel were provided. It was small, but it is a standard for Hong Kong, so don't bring a huge luggage. What was the biggest disadvantage was the building hotel is located in. It's very old and sketchy, and during our one week stay elevator did not work for most of the time. There are also lots of sketchy and suspicious people coming in and out of the building, so I would strongly recommend to not stay there if you're a solo female traveller. Choose a different area, because as a female I didn't feel safe in this location. But hotel itself has nothing to do with it, so if you're a man or a couple - you should be fine.

I find my pork chop noodle shape like it has been bitten, so I took a picture and decided to share in Google. What do you think?
I did joke about it in the restaurant and the waitor offer to change it.

Due to its earlier colonial days, Western food with Chinese flavours added has become very common. Case in point, pork chop burger, macaroni in tomato soup and fried egg, instant noodles with sausages, French toast and Swiss Sauce chicken wings. You can’t find these wings in Switzerland. Word has it that a waiter called these sweetened soya sauce chicken wings “Swiss wings” instead of sweet, and that name remained.

The food is superb. Experienced waiters. Acceptable price compare to quality of food and overall service. Just one con is air-con too cold, so the food get cold quickly.

I try to make it to Mido every time I’m near YMT. It’s a perfect place to eat local Hong Kong food, with a huge selection to choose from (maybe too much). I usually eat some sort of baked rice and every one I’ve had has been delicious. In addition to the great food, the friendly staff provides some of the best service I’ve ever received from a local cafe like this one. If you’re a tourist and looking for a good place to try some local comfort food, I would look no further!!

Food acceptable. The HK style milk tea is exceptional, according to my wife. I had the coffee/tea mixed. Not bad. The owner/manager is rude, particularly to her staffs.

Great corner Street cafe that overlooks the temple st gardens. Really classical decor, very kind staff, huge, varied menu of great food. Definitely gotta check it out - try to get a window seat upstairs!

Had dinner here while exploring Temple Street. Service was prompt and polite, the beef fillet baked rice I ordered was slightly bland, but otherwise piping hot and fresh. Overall, a pretty pleasant experience in a surrounding that’s a step back in time. Only thing I minded were the stairs. Seating was all on the second floor and those steps were steep.

Not sure why people say this place is dirty... It was very clean upstairs and no, we didn't get food poisoning from our dinner. Food was not something to shout about, but still decent. Our Cow Tongue with Rice and Ee-Fu fried noodles tasted pretty good. Service was also polite. However, I would say come here only if you understand old HK TV drama. Otherwise it's pretty pointless as you won't understand the ambience anyway.
