For a budget hotel in one of the most expensive cities, this place was not too bad.
We checked in at 1am and the reception were still quick and friendly. The room was small but not an issue. The room we initially booked was not ready so they upgraded us free of charge.
The window is little small and can be hard to get fresh air in.
Overall, not bad stay for the price and city.

This hostel is located in ChungKing mansion which contains lots of other hostels. This hotel operator has about 10 other hostel brands, So although I booked CityHK I stayed at Germany in Room 629. Germany is located on 6th floor so you are not too far up (ChungKing mansions has 17 floors) and you can walk down and not have to wait for the lifts which can take up to 20 minutes. Stairs can be dirty w. one or two cockroaches and very rarely you may see a rat, but they are not dangerous. Hostel itself is very clean and cleaner comes round every day to clean it. You can ask her to clean your room if you want and they do a good job. My room was small but had a window and there was nowhere for cockroaches to hide. So if you find one you can get rid of it from your room. Best to put something under your door to make sure nothing crawls in during the night when you sleep.

Chungking Mansion at Tsim Sha Tsui is very convenient to free tourist destinations and to shops, malls, restaurants and buses. The staffs at the reception desk were kind and nice, answer questions and reply to emails and concerns. The 24/7 reception helped us check in late, after midnight.
However, the building is old, you can smell rusts, the elevator to the guest room is sometimes busy esp at peak hour, there is only one elevator to the room, the other one is going to the reception, so there were times we had to use the stairs from the 6th floor esp when we’re in a hurry.
Overall, the guest house and room itself was small but clean and just enough space to sleep and rest.

Very nice hostel; the service, facilities, and the location is near the city centre. Sherry is a wonderful host. The room has a mini fridge! Xd

Dillon group hotels is one of a kind. Good location, very clean rooms, sheats always smell fresh, and staff great. Will keep coming back. Kudos to you😊🙏🏾👌🏽

THEIR PHOTOS DON'T CONNECT WITH REALITY! Nice location but it's the first and the past advantage of this hotel. If you want to feel smell of curry, touch to dust and dirt - welcome. Cocroaches/aunts will become your friends here. There aren't something things except bed (no chair, no table, no teapot, to towels). Dirty window, which was half out of the frame and wouldn't close completely. I really afraid to touch something in the bathroom, all there was dirty. Man from reception tried to cheat us when we checked it: he asked us to pay extra money (something dreaming fees not included to paying in trip.com). I don't recommend this hotel

I got bad experience in this Hotel , the smell is bad, the floor is Wet, the Water Heater is not working , the Reception is very Arrogant,,, and then scary because someone trying to Open My room without my permission.

Great food, excellent & Super fast service, good ambience, decent music gelling with ambience.. The desert taste & presentation was really impressive!
What particularly impressed me, was that the manager, who saw us viewing the menu, noticing that am Indian, might have a possibility of being vegetarian, and so promptly suggested about the vegetarian options as well.
All in all, I had a great experience & would certainly return.

Service, for the most part, was great. The manager and our server were lovely. The food is a bit average though, unfortunately. The Parma pizza was constructed very oddly so the rocket was all in a pile in the middle under the ham so it was quite soggy and difficult to cut/eat. Seemed like a bit too many ingredients for the base. The cannelloni was not really well-seasoned and kind of bland. All you could taste was the wine really.

We enjoyed ourself immensely. The food was excellent, service was first class. Gazi, the manager, was a very charming man who was very hospitable. We will come here every time we come to hongkong.

Seems like a nice place at first, but then:
You have to wait for seats.
The order takes a while to get to the table. Water is dripping from the ceiling onto you or your plate.
The beef (dish n.1) is plastic like.
The dish n.2 is called spicy but none of us were able to eat it, and the noodles were cold (yes the dish is supposed to be cold, but it was freezing), and they refused to warm it up a little.
So you pay 80$HK for a dish were you can only eat the dumplings (which were good and warm by the way).
Very disappointed by the food, and even more by how the employees reacted (they just laughed at us because we couldn't eat the entire plate).

Long waiting time during lunch. When I go inside the smell like a stink bomb here, noodles taste is worse than 5 years ago as well as the service, a bit disappointed ?

The tomato soup based udon was not rich, but still ok. I would prefer going to some other udon places to get the tomato soup based udon. The beef appetizer is pretty good on the other hand. Love their idea of putting a pig head fish cake to the udon to add some cuteness lol

Hot udon is good, but used to be better before. Soup is tasty though a bit oily. Snacks are just of normal standard.
