The boss was quite enthusiastic and the recommended places to eat were not bad. He also helped with the luggage. The roads in Dali Ancient Town were more friendly to us with luggage than those in Lijiang Ancient Town.
Overall, the price-performance ratio was very high.

I overall had a good stay and the hostel has a great & quiet location just outside the ancient town. The bedlinen I received for my bed was clean, the downside is that the bathroom and common areas were quite dirty. On the other end it's very budget...

Hostel is very dirty, but on the other hand it is very cheap and has a good location close to the Old Town. Staff doesn't speak English.

The room was OK, but I could actually see people on the rooftop platform through the roof glass while lying on the bed. I wonder if he could see me through the glass, which was a bit embarrassing.
