Jinsha Bandao Lake-view Yangsheng Hotel in Dali

The hotel is conveniently located, not far from Dali Airport or the train station. Getting a taxi to the hotel after my flight landed yesterday was very straightforward.
I booked a lake-view room this time, which offered stunning views of Erhai Lake, and it was excellent value for money! Furthermore, the room was very quiet at night, making it ideal for a relaxing stay.

The hotel was excellent. The breakfast was comprehensive and nutritious. I was fortunate enough to catch Dali's Sea Opening Festival and enjoyed breathtaking sea views from Haidong. Upon returning to the hotel quite late, the staff thoughtfully delivered two boxes of local 'good night milk'. The front desk staff were all incredibly warm and polite. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

I was very happy with my stay. The bedding was comfortable. My twin room felt a bit small, so I spoke with the front desk and they quickly helped me switch to a king-sized room. The hotel's laundry facilities were also a plus. It's super convenient to get to the beach, and the sky here is absolutely stunning – every picture turns out amazing! I've already recommended it to friends who are planning a trip to Yunnan!

The hotel offers great value for money, which is quite rare to find in Dali during the peak summer season. During our stay, both the cleanliness and service were excellent. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the rice noodles cooked by the staff were especially delicious. Following the recommendation from the lovely lady at the front desk, we checked out Yunxiangshan, a lesser-known spot in Dali. There's a fun 'Luji Park' up there, popular with many families with kids. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but you can also get great shots of the city and Erhai Lake. The evening sky in Dali was absolutely breathtaking!

King beds were unavailable when I made my reservation, so I took a chance and booked a twin room, hoping to switch to a king upon arrival. The front desk staff was incredibly warm and helpful, readily accommodating my request. I was very pleased with the room on the 18th floor. The mini-fridge worked perfectly, quickly chilling drinks. The large TV screen offered an excellent viewing experience. The hotel is located in a development zone, surrounded by upscale residential complexes like Vanke and Wanda. We didn't even need the air conditioning; simply opening a window allowed a lovely breeze to come through, keeping the room wonderfully cool. It truly felt like the pleasant weather of Dali!

This hotel offers excellent value for money, including breakfast and complimentary parking. The location is also great, making it very convenient. The cleanliness is superb, and the service is fantastic; the staff are incredibly accommodating and responsive to all requests. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

On a side note, Dali's climate is simply divine – clear blue skies and fluffy white clouds make it incredibly therapeutic. For those with time to spare, I highly recommend exploring the Haidong coastline to fully soak in its beauty.

For this price during the summer, it was simply unbeatable. Nearby guesthouses and B&Bs were all going for 500-600, yet I got breakfast and free parking for under 300 – truly the best value for money this summer! As for the room, it was a bit dated, but otherwise had no major flaws. The size wasn't huge, just as advertised on the website, but the hygiene, service, environment, and facilities were all good. I even recommended it to my friends after I got back home.

The hotel I booked in advance turned out to be a wonderful surprise! It's located very close to Erhai Lake. The room facilities are brand new and feature voice-activated controls for the lighting, curtains, and on-demand TV. The only minor point was that the TV's internet connection seemed to buffer a bit for some reason. Despite that, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. It was also incredibly convenient for exploring nearby attractions, and they even provided delicious welcome fruit. I'll definitely be returning!

The hotel's location is excellent, with stunning views of Erhai Lake. There's a spacious underground parking lot, though having to collect a parking ticket from the front desk each time we left was a bit of a hassle. I'd suggest implementing a license plate recognition system for greater convenience. The facilities are comprehensive, though there's still room for enhancement. Cleanliness was decent. The front desk provides guides for exploring Erhai Lake, and the service was good. The lakeside scenery here is every bit as captivating as at the popular 'Influencer Bay'.

Our room on the 19th floor was beautifully decorated, incorporating Dali's ethnic tie-dye elements, which were also prevalent throughout the corridors. From the room, we could catch a glimpse of Erhai Lake. The amenities were relatively new, and housekeeping was very thorough.

The front desk service was superb. As it was my first time in Dali, I had many questions about local food, attractions, and general tips, and the staff patiently answered every single one. They even sent fresh fruit to my room in the evening.

The next day, after a late return from the beach, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the front desk had already extended my check-out until 2 PM. When I eventually returned around 4 PM, the housekeeping staff was already tidying up my room.

Overall, my stay here was incredibly comfortable and relaxed. They were very flexible in accommodating guest requests, unlike rigid chain hotels that strictly adhere to their rules. It's an excellent choice for both leisure and business travelers, offering a quiet environment perfect for a restful night's sleep.
