The environment is great, located inside the ancient city. The owner is friendly and can pick you up at the entrance of the ancient city.

Pros:
1. Conveniently located.
2. Cute dog at the reception.

Cons (things the hotel owner should pay attention to):
1. Terribly uncomfortable bed. It felt like sleeping on a concrete floor covered with a blanket.
2. The walls seemed to be made of paper; you could hear absolutely everything! Neighbors, the street, passers-by – it was very difficult to sleep.
3. Hot water... this was truly frustrating – went to take a shower in the evening, and there was no hot water left because the neighbors had used it all!
4. Trash wasn't emptied daily, towels and slippers weren't changed, and water wasn't provided.

After my daughter finished her college entrance exams, we chose to visit Yunnan to help her relax and unwind. We stayed at the Taste Shuhe guesthouse. The environment here is elegant and peaceful, and the owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, which made us feel very comfortable during our trip. Plus, they have a very friendly dog that loves people. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

The courtyard is lovely and very comfortable, with nice bedding. The location is also excellent and very convenient. The soundproofing between the two rooms could be better, so it's a good idea to bring earplugs. If there's no one next door, it's perfect.

Overall, it was good and the price was reasonable, but the water heater wasn't quite hot enough.

This guesthouse exceeded my expectations! The room and courtyard were spotless, and the bed was huge. The Naxi architecture was truly unique, and it felt so romantic and beautiful when it rained. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. It was also really convenient for ordering food delivery. And taking a stroll through the old town in the early morning was incredibly pleasant!

Just as others have said, the environment is beautiful, the ambiance is lovely, and the landlady is warm and attentive.

Right in the old town, super convenient. The room was really good, and there are all sorts of restaurants right outside. The room was well-equipped and spacious too. Definitely recommend it!

A very comfortable courtyard, and the owner is incredibly nice. The rooms have a lovely wooden style, they're clean, tidy, and odorless. The mattress is just right, and it's very quiet at night. In the evenings, you can stroll into the old town, and there are plenty of dining options nearby.

The room was very clean and the TV screen was large. I had a very comfortable stay. There's also a study in the courtyard. This is the most comfortable inn I've stayed at in Lijiang, and it offers great value for money.
