This is a lovely resort, we stayed at the adults only site, which is only a short walk to the beach and promanade of Rabac. There was a road train that you can use if you didn't want to walk, it runs from one end of the resort to the other end past all the restaurants and bars, this cost €3 each way. We stayed for 2 weeks in Maro Suites as a family of 4. We were very fortunate as we were allocated a larger suite with 2 bathrooms, suitable for up to 6 which we really appreciated. Congiere, restaurant staff, house keeping and actually all staff provide exceptional customer service!!!! The only iissue I had is with head office transfer team who booked shuttle taxi for the wrong day…… I ended waiting for 2 hrs for pick to the resort, staff at the resort more than made up for head office error

Please bear in mind no public transport only taxis which are expensive. Spent 10 days there with only the promenade and bay. Plus hotel seems to cater for german or Austrian guests. No English speaking guests there. Our rooms on 7th floor like student accommodation. Very few photos show this hotel bedrooms. Most reviews are from foreign guests

Lovely getaway The views are beautiful. And the balconies are spacious but know that your neighbour may be a smoker and the smoke drifts into your room. It is difficult to find umbrellas either at the pool or beach. The rooms are spacious but the bathtub is quite deep and a bit difficult to get in and out of.

I visited in June last year. It was a very quiet resort at that time so plenty of space. Weather was mainly overcast during my visit. There are lots of beach spaces and an excellent area on the water for kids - kind of a bouncy castle for Aqua. many walking and bike trails make it a fun place for an active family.

Nice place and view on the sea. Bar on sea is nice but expensive. Bus to the center of Rabac is great.

Everything was excellent once again. The one thing missing was evening entertainment. The resort is very clean. Everyone friendly. Great for families, young and old. You can walk out of your hotel and straight onto the beach. You can stroll along the promenade into Rabac centre where you find shops, bars and restaurants.

This hotel is so child friendly. Very accommodating and has a lot of things for young children to do. Every night there is a children’s disco with the much beloved character “Maro” the hermit crab. The kids club is great, lots of toys and games and activities and the staff are amazing. Overall we had a wonderful time at Valamar Bellevue, the restaurant had many food options, it was very busy at times but as a group of 7 we did manage to find seating together. We only tried the restaurant, but it was beyond words. We were so glad to choose this one to have lunch. We tried soups and second courses, best calamari I've ever eaten. The portios are great we couldn't taste the desserts so we have to come back. All in all, excellent food with kind, helpful service, recommend it to everyone. Very comfortable and welcoming hotel. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast. The restaurant, although a bit expensive, is really worth it. The quality is very high.

Hotel is immaculate. Cleaning staff very attentive. Street noise was not a problem notwithstanding that our room was adjacent to the street. Smaller hotel gives an intimate feeling. Dennis is the consumate host and a very pleasant person.

We've only been in the restaurant, and it's really our best experience from the vacation in Croatia! The breakfast is large and has a great variety and is served on the back terrace with a stunning view on the bay of Rabac. You can reserve a parking spot at a public parking place, located at 2 minutes walking for 10 euros...

Service was great, wine was great, steak with pasta and cream truffle sauce was great, Bruschetta was delicious and fresh........ however every Scallop was gritty with sand and our order of Shrimp scampi pasta was very very plain and soupy. Hopefully it was just an off night for one chef. The restaurant itself is lovely and a nice atmosphere.

Great food, perfect service. The waiter even gave the young ones a ride back to our hotel. If you have young kids they understand to feed them right away, the steaks are delicious and cooked to perfection. I'm told the seafood was top notch. Highly recommended.

Most beautiful view over the Rabac bay! We had a spacious room, perfect balcony and the hotel has a nice pool area. The walk into town (or rather the way back, uphill) is definitely a workout but worth it. Would recommend this place for sure.
