Valamar Bellevue Resort

We had an amazing family experience at Valamar Bellevue Resort! From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was incredibly accommodating and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was outstanding — such a great variety with something for everyone to enjoy. Our room had breathtaking views, and the beaches and pools were absolutely beautiful — perfect for the whole family to relax and have fun. The entire resort was well taken care of — the cleanliness and attention to detail were truly impressive and made us feel comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. A special thank you to Miranda, Moira, Petra, and Lorenzo, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Their kindness and attentiveness made a lasting impression on us. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this resort. It exceeded our expectations in every way. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Go to Rabac and stay at the Valamar was the advice given to us by a Croatian friend. Searching for this city of Rabac, it seems to be a well kept secret. This hotel is one of the many that Valamar has in this corner of the Istrian Coast. I liked the all-inclusive option. You get to eat at their Buffet restaurant and use the bars at the pools and the lobby. The all-inclusive drinks are local Croatian beer and wine plus cocktails. (You can't order a branded alcohol) This is more than enough to enjoy with your meal or sip in the comfortable couches in the balconies and lobbies.Food at the Mediterranean restaurant has a lot of vegetarian options. This is because along with the meats, Croatians eat a lot of vegetables. Being originally from Asia, we didn't find any spicy dishes but that's not a disadvantage. I enjoyed the mangold, Olive bar, the fruits, different types of sauteed vegetables, yogurt, bread, chicken and fish cooked in front of you. Economically the all-inclusive works out cheaper. We rented a car and parking is plenty even if the hotel lot is full you can park outside the hotel. Rooms for a family had one kind size bed, and two sofa beds. The hotel is predominantly filled with guests with kids. From the car number plates, many of the guests drive from Austria, Germany, Sweden, UK. Very friendly hotel staff, liked our check-in with Chiara. You can walk to the town of Rabac on a nice promenade. There are 3 pools and the public beach is connected. The beach is a pebble beach but that is not a problem. Here are a few things the hotel needs to take care of: The service at the Mediterranean restaurant is very laid back. Some days it's exceptional with the lady supervisor joining in on getting the tables cleared, on other days the staff and managers walk by tables with dirty plates of the guests on the side to be cleared. May just need some operational tweaks to fix this. The kitchen runs out of the dishes within a hour and if you are at the restaurant at the last hour that it is open, you'll find the ice creams completely empty and no sign of replacement. Again an operational issue. The beds are very comfortable. There's a hot water kettle and instant coffee plus tea in the room. Communication is not a problem, hotel staff speak English. Entertainment can be used at the sister hotels and there's a nice crowd before the wine bar every evening with music. We used Rabac as our base and made day trips to Ljublijana, Slovenia, Trieste, Italy. Pula and Rovinj. A very enjoyable stay.

Perfect for our stay with a child. Our daughter loved it and logically so did we. The pools are great, there is a big variety of them - although this sunbeds hunt is incredibly annoying. I believe its not only this hotel, but everywhere - people blocking their sunbeds and then arriving to them 2 hours later while the rest of us have nowhere to sit staring at the empty sunbeds with towels. Nevertheless - maro world for kids is without a doubt one of the nicest indoor play areas we have ever seen! Its imaginative, playful and innovative and we loved it! Very decent alcohol cocktails. Super helpful staff, always welcoming and ready to assist with whatever we needed. One thing I would change if I could and that would make me stay maybe even longer is the food. We stayed for 6 nights and it was almost the same all the time. Breakfast has not changed once - pancakes and donuts every single day . Not that there were not any other options but it was all very limited. Vegetables for lunch and dinner almost the same every day. For kids - plain pasta with parmesan cheese every single night. This could change the whole experience for us. Coffee good though and the area as such very aesthetic! There is a small sandy beach as well, so perfect change for kids. Super clean sea. It is steep though. You have to bear it in mind - from the beach, going up to the pools, up to the rooms, up to the reception. Lots of walking we didnt mind - its good exercise but might get tiring with small kids.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Valamar Bellevue Hotel! Everything was perfect – from the beautiful location and comfortable rooms to the delicious food and relaxing atmosphere. A special thanks goes to the receptionist Aleksandra, who was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. She truly made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back again. Highly recommended!

Perfect family vacation! All what one need for family during vacation with beautiful sea extra :) Food, pools, staff all great!

This was our first visit to Croatia, and we couldn’t have picked a better hotel. The facilities were excellent, especially for children for children . There are multiple kids pools ,kids clubs, a wide variety of soft play areas , gaming rooms and so much more. We will be back next year!

Trully beautiful all inclusive hotel, very spacious, clean and comfortable. It is our third year here and this is best family resort we have vistited so far in Croatia, and we have visited many. It is really great value for money for relaxation, excellent service, very tasty food with a lot of choices and kids clubs with Maro character, that kids wouldn’t leave. Animators are trully very kind and patient and special greetings from heart go to them.

Honestly it was quite amazing. The food was amazing. The staff was amazing. Everything was amazing! I have to thank Milica the Pizza chef for the amazing last minute pizza she made for our trip! She deserves a raise! She was a life saver! Our transportation broke down and her pizza was extremely needed! My greatest praise goes to: Gjogji the waiter who actually recommended and booked us the accommodations and gave us important information and showed us around the area. Observing him and how he treated every single guest was fascinating. Welcoming every single guest with a smile no matter how they treated him. By far the most hard working employee of this resort. Also I would like to thank: Selena in the Cold Kitchen if I'm correct Milica in Reception Neda in the Lobby Bar Biljana in the Vine Bar Aleksandar the waiter Iva the waiter Lana the waiter Daniel the waiter Angel the waiter There were so many more but I am really not good with names so I hope they will forgive me. Some of them even helped me with orientations and guided me around the area after their shifts ended. They were so amazing I am so thankful! The entire Beach Bar staff for taking such amazing care of us! Also the entire staff and management of Oliva Grill's that stands out from all the restaurants in the area! The way they treated us made some amazing moments for us! Hope to visit again really soon!

Clean rooms and pools, friendly staff,great food, beautifully facilities, cosy stay.We loved everything about this hotel located by the beach and surrounded by beautifully nature.We had everything we needed, including a great fun for kids during day and in the evening.I can recommend this hotel to everyone and we will definitely come back!
