Hotel Villa Eugenia in Lovran

From the very first moment, we felt completely at home in this beautiful, charming Boutique-Hotel. The staff are simply outstanding – so kind, helpful, and genuinely warm-hearted. A small team, but they truly go above and beyond and seem to anticipate every guest’s wish. The house and the rooms are spacious, elegant, and very comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight every single day – both delicious and beautifully presented – and we loved enjoying it in the peaceful, park-like garden. Yes, the street outside can get a bit noisy at night with the occasional motorcycle, but with the windows closed it was no problem at all and did not disturb our stay. A large parking area with an EV charging station is available, making excursions pleasantly stress-free. All in all: Absolutely fantastic! We would love to give more than 5 stars if we could. The villa itself is wonderful, but it’s the staff who make it truly exceptional. A house with soul - many thanks to the whole team – we will definitely be back!

Beautiful building with modern remodeling and friendly service all around, clean & big room, outstanding breakfast, and outstanding hospitality. Couldn't be better!

We had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights. The hotel is a lovely old building just a short 2 minute walk across a road and park to the sea. The hotel has been fully renovated and added on to but retains its charm. The most amazing part of our stay though were the staff. Marina and Ivana on reception and Goga the breakfast host were all so warm, friendly and professional throughout our stay. The hotel was really clean and tidy as well and the breskfast buffet fantastic so clearly all of the behind the scenes staff are also doing a great job. My wife and I stay in a lot of hotels for our jobs and this team really did stand out as being so very good. We would look to return to the hotel because of how great they were when next in the area. It was my wife’s birthday whilst we were there and again they could not have been nicer at making sure she was looked after. The hotel has secure parking at the rear and it’s a short walk ( 10minutes) to the centre of the old town . A nice stroll along the seafront or slightly shorter on the road. A great place to stay.

I have to point out the hospitality of the staff and excellent breakfast. The location of Villa is great, the beach is close and the center of Lovran as well.

Nice hotel, but smoking was a shame! People were smoking in front of the door! Even at breakfast time in the garden where breakfast was eaten!! Unbelievable that this is still possible in 2025!

Charming and spacious villa with great vibes. The place had that lovely old-world charm, was clean and roomy, and the staff were amazing — especially sweet Natasha, who made us feel so welcome. We also really appreciated the healthy breakfast options each morning.

A couple of minor issues: the fridge was in an awkward spot and I bumped my knees a few times trying to open it. Also, there weren’t quite enough power outlets, which made charging devices a bit tricky.

Overall though, we really enjoyed the property and the surrounding area — would happily come back!

Brilliant staff, location and breakfast

Excellent breakfast and service. Very nice room with seaview. Good atmosphere and location at the Lungomare with its bars and konobas. Its easy to go with the bus to Opatja. a good idea is, to charter a boat for a trip along the riviera or to Cres.

A beautiful stay with top-notch facilities. From reception check in to the breakfast in the morning, 10 / 10. Secure car park. Definitely we'll be back. Sunrise from our room, priceless too
