This was the third time in a row from 2023 that we visited this hotel. The staff was really nice. We loved the location and the view. The quality of the beds was remarkable. We spent two ignhts in Grand hotel Adriatic and our overall experience is very good. We had booked this hotel with one of the options for an elevator. Upon arrival we found out we had to go up 2 flights of stairs then get an elevator that too with out someone helping us with our bags. I have a knee issue and informed the hotel staff but I guess they don’t care. No apology either. Same thing when we checked out. No help with our bags. Will not recommend this hotel. :(

Decent rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff, yet the additional costs for parking and my pet added almost 50% to the price. This is not proportional. Unfortunately it's a common practice in Croatia to have decent baseline prices for the rooms and then add a massive premium on top for anything else. That said, the hotel is nice. I would come back.

We really liked the location of the hotel. Opatija is such a beautiful village and you can go into the centre directly via the sea promenade. Hotel is old but nice and not so expensive at the end of October. Rooms are nice with lovely view on the sea. Bathroom is a bit old. Brakfast is simple and ok. Dinner is 27€ so a little bit expensive. Parking is disaster and you have to pay for it. Hotel has swiming pool inside with sea water.

Hotel is old and banged up. We had some issues with room keycards that stopped working (twice), the prices are astronomical even in september and parking is a nightmare and a robbery. The hotel does have a nice view and the breakfast was good. The “beach” in front is a falling apart cemented space with ice cold water (underwater springs) and ice watering prices for umbrella and deck chairs.

The hotel is called luxury but it has nothing to do with Luxury at all. Simple boutique hotel with pretty old renovation and cheep materials. A centrally located older hotel that has been renovated. Average sized clean rooms. Beds were just at their age limit, and should be replaced. Breakfast buffet was minimally adequate. Avoid the dinner buffet AT ALL. COSTS! They ran out of many items and didn’t replace them. The food quality was terrible, probably the worst meal I’ve had in several decades. A wonderful weekend spent with my daughter. Exceptional hospitality of the hotel staff, a room with a sea view, excellent room service. And in the evening a gourmet experience with chef Mateo Frlan. All in all, it really deserves five stars.

A very comfortable and well organized space, a team of very pleasant staff, everything is just as it should be in Opatija. The proximity of the port is certainly not in favor, but they still managed to organize the beach so that swimming is comfortable. We enjoyed our staying very much.

We stayed here for two nights as part of a tour, as others have identified is popuoar with your groups because of its value for money, breakfast at 8am is certainly a challenge. We were on floor 2 which didn't have a great view, and the air conditioning want functioning (and it was low 20s C so shouldn't have been a challenge). Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast everything clean parking is difficult because you have to park in the garage. That is perhaps 50 to 100 yards away from the hotel if you go to the hotel first with your bags then you have to take a long route back to the garage because the road by the hotel is one way but really a very nice place to stay.
