Where to stay in Porec

Nice hotel, rooms are clean and view from seaside room is beatiful. The food is great, there is a lot of options to choose for every meal. Pizza could be better. Also soft drinks are from machine and not so good. People are "reservating" sunbeds near the pool and they are not using them, so there isn't enough free sunbeds for people who would like to use sunbeds.

There Is nothing Wrong with Hotel itself. Everywhere Is clean. Good food And services. Super kind and friendly employees. However, there Are problems with clients.. mainly, Russia speaking clients. Every day, there Are 60% of loungers empty, just Reserved with army of towells IT IS So super awkward.. i feel embarassed for them.. Glasses Are literally everywhere, i know employees did all possible...

Very nice hotel. The surrounding corresponds with Istrian culture - this means that the beach (the blue lagoon) that is about 200m from hotel is kept clean but the beach is stone with some places concrete made. The hotel is clean but you can find maybe here and there a spyder web so don't expect sterile surrounding. The staff is highly motivated and nice, we didn't find any "long faces" along the staff...

Charming hotel just a few steps from the center of Porec. Professional and friendly staff. Top-level cuisine from chef Evgeniy Staniss. Super breakfast and dinner on the terrace overlooking the pools - the last treat. Spacious new functional and immaculate rooms. Valamar is always at the highest level.

We stayed at the Valamar Tamaris Resort all-inclusive hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Maro Club was a great place for the kids and to earn some points and get some presents. Gabrijel, Ivona and Patricija. Food was deilcious and well organized. Spacious room we had and no noise at all. We would be happy to go back again to a Valamar location.

Very helpful reservation team, they provided us with the exact room wanted, excellent food, great children program, unfortunately rooms were not cleaned well, not vacuumed at all, 2 old filthy carpets on the floor.

A beautiful, comfortable hotel with excellent services in a wonderful location. The coast is rocky, stony, sandy, everyone can find their favorite. A varied menu of delicious, tasty dishes. The staff was polite and helpful, the cleanliness was fine. Parking is easy in the huge free car park. WIFI was fine. Enjoyable all inclusive, although there could be more local drinks. We will return if possible

My family of 5 enjoyed the resort. My kids loved the pool and the buffet. The air-conditioned could be better. The elevator was broken after 4 days out of our 6 days stay. That made a little harder with a baby stroller.

Stayed here for a congress. Everything about this place is rock solid! Large and comfortable rooms, walk-in shower, excellent and diverse food (my favourite tartuffi pasta-Istria must have!), heated indoor pool and nice wellness, kind personell..but October sunset and largo view...calming and relaxing. Poreč is destination by itself and you can't go wrong with Parentium!!

Everything was very well organized. The shuttle from the parking lot to the hotel. The friendly staff which helped us with our luggage. Checkin was easy. The room was very well equipped. I liked the beach extra with boat, towel and loungers. The breakfast was great. The rose for my mums birthday was nice! A comfortable smoking area would be nice.

We where pleased with our stay we did especially like the breakfast and brunch, very good selection and quality of food . Service was very good aswell. We very much enjoyed the stay. Even though we mistakenly booked a room in a building next door they moved us to the main building without a problem. The room was really nice with a clean bathroom. The hotel structure is always well kept clean, ventilated and sanitized. All the staff are accommodating, kind and thoughtful. Personally, I would not host pets in this type of facility. The rooms are comfortable and well kept.

Visited last week in June temperature touching 90f , lovely hotel 1st class food and all staff very friendly and helpful, the only down side the hotel quite old so no air conditioning in the rooms,that said I would definitely stay here again,Doris and Majita who work inn the restaurant were both friendly, polite and very helpful.

Very lovely rooms with great room service. The included meals are of very high quality and quantity. The swimming pool is very fun and handy as is the beach-side view. This is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed at!

We had a chance to see a hotel room, which I personaly wouldn't like to sleep in ( we fortunatelly stayed in an another hotel). You could feel the atmosfere of socializm, the rooms were dated as well as the lobby and the restaurant. The location of the hotel is good, near the beach and about an 1 km from the city center. only place in Zelena Laguna opening @ 7am, outside bar patio is positioned very well, but unfortunately fool of mosquitoes. otherwise hotel is nice and has a friendly staff mostly. prices are also too high for service provided. if thay put prices down, could be there for next summer.

The room was small but the bed comfortable. It had some form of automated climate control. I don't think it was air conditioning but it kept the room cooler than the hallway. Really I only have two complaints. It is somewhat confusing on where to park. There are two parking lots, you park your vehicle and then bring your luggage in. A few people complain about the rooms/showers being small. I had an economy room with french bed, park side for single use. I was actually quite pleased with it and thought there was plenty of room. No balcony but I knew that when booking. I thought the food in the evening buffet was exceptional with lots of choice and the added bonus of soft drinks, wine and beer. Good price for half board, nice breakfast and dinner, beer and wine included but stay away from the wine not so good. Hotel is old but very clean, very hard to find, but we will go again. If you like water activities this is the place to go, employees are very nice.

Breakfast 4*, dinner 3*. Accommodation in apartment 4*, WC plus bathtoom 1* - very tiny! Beach about 150 metres for 3*. Not bad, I can recommend to stay here in the end of June for 1 week, there are not too many people.

The hotel is in a great location, a few steps from the beach and from the old town too. We went with a big family and had a good time. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast and dinner was delicious too. The kids loved the swimming pool and the jakuzzi.

Good smaller hotel, with best location in Porec. 50 m to the sea, 3 minutes to the city center. Good dinner, great breakfast. Rooms are clean and big, just the bed is not ok for 2, who want to sleep together as twin bed is moving apart all the time. I would give a huge minus to towels that had really bad smell like cigarettes.

Probably better in winter when you can use the spa facilities and indoor pool (open in summer but not so tempting). Good location close to town and beach with parking. Breakfast was ok but hot dishes not great. Rooms are ok. Unfortunately hotel lacks a bit of character and charm.
