We didn't stay at the hotel, but stopped by for refreshing smoothies. The smoothie was made from local fruits and was absolutely delicious with beautiful presentation. We had a little chat with lovely manager Chara, she was so sweet and gave us some plums from their garden to go. Highly recommend this place!

We wanted a budget friendly place to use as our base camp as we would be out hiking the natural trails and this small place was recommended to us. Such a charming hotel in the mountains. I really liked the ambience of the place and the fact that it has its old character. The room we were given it must have been one of the old rooms because it had old furniture in it but the bathroom was fully renovated. The bath is a bit on the small side but it's nice. The hotel is quite old, and while the room had air-conditioning and a nice shower, there wasn’t really anything special about it. The breakfast was limited and didn’t offer much variety, which was disappointing. I also feel the hotel is overpriced for what it provides. However, the view was very nice and probably the best part of the stay.

We had a lovely weekend at New Helvetia in Platres. The hotel is set in the woods with a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing walks into the village. The restaurant is charming and cozy, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would visit again in winter.

Absolutely charming hotel up in the mountains in a beautiful village. Having a steam room and hot tub amongst the trees of the forest took the whole experience to the next level. Andrea’s the manager there was so kind and helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable.

This is a boutique hotel situated in a quiet location in a pine forest above a small mountain village. I had an excellent meal and a comfortable bed. Internal stairs, so not suitable for disabled customers.

We stopped by at this hidden gem with some friends that know the village well. The hotel is lovely, the food , exceptional!! What a great find, the chef is so good , the hotel is so Nicky laid out and am impressed by the herb and vegetable garden for the kitchen! Highly recommend you searching this hidden gem out.

For value for money this is an excellent large hotel in a lovely mountain setting. The bedroom was very large with a comfortable Bed, good lighting etc. The Hitel in areas in need if some refurbishment but for overall value its a good choice.

Me and my friends were out here for 2 nights. We found in the toilet cupboard smashed wood that made holes and we found dirt in them, we obviously didn't put anything in there. The hotel is well situated for the Troodos area. It provides good accommodation at a reasonable price. It makes no pretence at being a five star establishment, but it does the biz. This is a hotel with restaurant available to non-hotel guests. It is at the roundabout on Troodos square. We visited on Sunday lunchtime which was busy. They have a buffet but we ordered something simpler from the menu. Service could have been friendlier and there were a lot of young children running around uncontrolled. We spent the evening here with family and loved the whole experience, especially the food (the kleftiko and beef stifado were amazing). Reading the comments here, some complain about the portion size, and while they are not large, they are definitely of a higher quality and cooked on an open grill for everyone to see!

Well Lofou a village almost deserted 50years ago now on the way to being rebuilt etc we had a great stay here great food and local produce outstanding, we stayed under the name of Adams, thank you for our short stay with you and hope you and the village has prosperity.

The restaurant was empty when we arrived around 6.30pm. We were the only customers for the rest of our meal. We don’t understand why because the restaurant was cozy and the staff was great. The food portions were good. The taste was delicious. As usual in Cyprus, the meat was over cooked but still has flavour and good.

We found this lovely little spot whilst looking for a cafe. The food looked and smelt too good not to try. Had the chicken souvlaki and it does not disappoint. Defiantly worth a visit if your in the area or worth making a trip If not. The venue has Accomodation if your wanting to make more of a trip Out of it and it looked great quality. Probably the most peaceful place I have ever stayed in. Located in a quite, but charming small village. There is also an amazing local tavern down the road to eat at. 30min drive to the beach and 30min drive to Mount Olympus. Ideal place to stay in Cyprus.

This Adult only Boutique hotel is 7 star Jaka and his sister are looking after the hotel what a great credit to the owners. The hotel experience and village reminds me of south of France Village Eze breathtaking views. The room was very warm and comfortable. I will be returning very soon.

Second visit to this wonderful place and it was even better than the first time. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay special. We were celebrating a birthday and the room was nicely decorated with very romantic touches. The gin selection is also unexpected. We will be back again that’s a given!

The best traditional luxury suites in Cyprus . Our last visit was the 3rd one on this place, this time on the shiraz suite !! All the suites are really beautiful with high quality furniture on traditional style , fire place and small kitchen . The 2 of the 3 suites have Jacuzzi! You also must check their bar where you can find exclusive Gin and spectacular wine cellar with wines from around the world...

Really warm atmosphere in the village. Parking spaces available in the beginning of the town and there are signs pointing towards it. Enjoyed walking around, you can do some wine tasting, enjoy a drink at the cafe’s, get some souvineers and there’s a monastery here too

Really a big dissapointment. We had to order the set menu (meze) as there was no a la carte options. With the exception of the roasted pig knuckle the rest of the dishes were below average. Quantity was ok but overpriced for the quality. I would defenetelly say not worth eating at this place. The people were nice though and attendive.

This restaurant is a must if you are in Omodos. Food is absolutely fresh and delicious, traditional but with modern twist. They serve their own wines along the food , that make the experience complete. The atmosphere is very warming , with live music and the service is top - they give you time to enjoy the food!
