A hidden surprise of a hotel,this was a fantastic stay in an authentically restored building. Our room was off of the central courtyard with a good size wetroom. A good variety of food was provided for breakfast. The streets are typical cypriot small streets but we felt completely safe.The owner is lovely and strives to make everyones stay memorable.

Sympathetic renovation of a historic building. Clean rooms and bedding and large clean modern wetroom. Tea and coffee making in room. Self service buffet traditional Turkish breakfast with various breads . Good fresh quality. Choice of cappuccino etc from coffee machine as well as more traditional teas etc. Parking roadside on left turning as you come under Girne Gate. The road is Istanbul Kosak The Hotel is a short walk from here in a small side street, Reception manned until 5pm after that its a keycode Extremely small but very helpful staff Great position for exploring old walled City of Nicosia in Northern Cyprus

even at first glance it's obvious that every corner of this hotel is designed with care and love - owner is also its architect. we especially loved the surprising oasis-like feeling once inside - in the heart of the old town but a different world ; both in contact with the street yet quiet and private in the courtyard.

We stayed one night en route to the airport after a trip to Girne and Famagusta. Really nice, recently modernised old house with lots of original features and a lovely patio for breakfast. Handily located next to Kyrenia Gate, ideal for the dolmuses to Girne or Famagusta. Some friendly local restaurants nearby. Ten minutes to the Ledra crossing on foot. Friendly staff were easy to contact to arrange arrival & transport if needed. All in all a very easy spot to land for our last night on holiday.

Crossing the border at ledra street is very simple (even late at night) and their is a taxi rank no more than 3 minutes away. A walk to this boutique hotel located on the edge of old town will take between 10-15 minutes. The Nicosia eagle is located on a narrow street close to cafes and shops, but also only a few minutes from ‘the bus station’. This makes it an ideal base if you are planning to use the bus services to famagusta, kyrenia etc. Their is no 24 reception, so you must advise of your arrival time. I found this very easy using WhatsApp. You are provided with a room keycard, as well as a special key for using the main entrance door. Again very easy to use. Their is a reception area, breakfast room and a wonderful patio area with tables and chairs that you can use any time. My room was located on the ground floor. A good sized twin room with a super shower room. Their is a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities etc. my only gripe was the lighting, which were modern led bulbs. Personally I find the light very ‘sharp’. Breakfast is typical ‘middle eastern’ and like a meze. It is fresh and simple. The Nicosia eagle is a great comfortable base in a good location overall

This beautifully designed, clean and very comfortable boutique hotel offers what you would need in your stay. It's located in the north part of Cyprus (Turkish Cypriot side) close to the old town and Ledra crossing. Service quality and hospitality are much higher than the standards in the island. Breakfasts are very special with rich offers from local tastes you enjoy either in the beautiful patio or in the inside hall depending on your choice and the weather conditions. I have to mention especially the bed as I find it 5 stars hotel standard (even more) with high quality bedsheets. Staff is very helpful to provide whatever you need. So I highly recommend to stay in this charming, new look, very clean and maintained boutique hotel.

Very well presented , back street residency . Bit daunting to the weary traveller but after a day got use to it . Stunning city . Breakfast is not everyone's style but the staff very friendly and make you feel welcome
