Hotel Maxant in Frymburk

We visited the restaurant with our family and friends, and all of us were impressed by the delicious food and excellent service. It sparked our curiosity about the hotel itself, so we asked for a short tour, and that experience convinced us to book the hotel for our next stay.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, stunning nature, and complete relaxation.

Liked · This hotel truly feels like a hidden gem—small, spotless, and wonderfully cozy. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and come with balconies that offer breathtaking views. Breakfast was not only fresh but genuinely delicious, and the meals at the restaurant were unforgettable, especially the steak, which was perfectly cooked. The freshly brewed beer and mouthwatering desserts made every meal feel special.
What stood out was the staff. They were so warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything, which made the entire stay even more enjoyable. The relaxation area, with its pool and sauna, was such a peaceful retreat—perfect for unwinding after a long day.
The location couldn’t be better. There’s a supermarket, a bike rental shop, and some great pubs just a short walk away. The lake is only two minutes from the hotel, and it’s such a beautiful spot for a quiet stroll. Plus, the hotel is an excellent base for road trips to explore the surrounding area. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient escape!

Disliked · The restaurant kitchen at the hotel closed quite early, which made it difficult to have dinner in the evening, forcing us to visit other pubs instead. While this is not directly related to the hotel, it’s worth mentioning that even the pubs in the area closed by 9 PM, and the supermarket shut even earlier, at 6 PM. This meant that if we were out for the entire day, we had to plan our dinner.

Well worth the stay, staff were exceptional, the rooms very clean and modern. Hotel very central, quaint and with all the amenities one needs (wellness center, cafe, bar, restaurant…). Would stay again, no question.

This business has been part of the local spicce for a long time. Every time we visit him in Lipno and he never disappointed us. Great food, friendly staff and delicious cakes and desserts. If you are nearby, I recommend visiting.

Clean, nice, cozy, friendly staff, sauna and spa need an upgrade though.
