The hotel service is very good, the breakfast is rich, the front desk and service staff are friendly and kind. The hotel is very close to the Black Tower and the fountain. There are also shopping malls nearby, which is very convenient.

Didn't stay in the hotel but took a day trip to the spa. There are 10 or so saunas and steam rooms in the adult only section, 3 outside. Also warm plunges and cold / warm showers and ice buckets. It was glorious

Well located hotel, everything is there but service is poor. The atmosphere is cold, and restaurants are not cosy. We didn't want to spend extra minutes. Staff generally speaks only broken Czech, no German nor English. The swimming pool area is not welcoming to relax. It is confusing how the hotel is managed, separately rooms and apartments, hotel and wellness, not customer friendly.

Roughly 600 CZK for adult aqua/sauna park daily ticket, totally worth of money, cheap bufet at disposal, dont listen to hating reviews

We have stayed here for about a week because the booking was possible only from Sunday afternoon till the next Sunday morning. Booking was easy, I would recommend booking up to a year in advance to get a reasonable price. The hotel is said to be a hundred years old. The lobby is old, but the rooms are well maintained. However, you can see that the hotel is quite old. The facilities and decoration are all in the style of the previous generation. It is OK for a night. Downstairs is the central square, with a lot of food and it is quite lively.

30mins walk from the main train station, closer to bus station about 10mins. Hotel was really beautiful from the reception to the hotel room. Their breakfast buffet spread was good and food quite delicious. Staff was helpful to assist in booking taxi although made an error as they mentioned the room had bathtub but in fact did not.

It's a hotel with a classic atmosphere. They give you plenty of tea and other things, and the breakfast selection is decent. However, the creaky wooden floor and small desk are a bit uncomfortable. If you like an old-fashioned atmosphere, it might be okay. There's a bathtub, so that's a plus.

If 100 is a perfect score, I'd give this hotel 120. I hadn't originally booked it. However, due to various reasons, I booked it as a last resort. We arrived late, or rather early the next day, and there was one staff at the front door who let us into our room. The room was very clean, quite and comfortable. The breakfast was great with fresh bread, milk, cheese, sausages, etc. exactly as shown in the hotels picture! Great value for money!

Nothing extra but for 1 night OK. Good dinner in the style restaurant.

The rooms are totally forgetable, though you get all what is expected. Kind of cheapy equipment, but rooms are larger than currently seen. Noisy outside, so difficult to open the window. The Walter in the restaurant gets you wine without asking what wine you like, bottle or glass. This was really strange. On the other hand, the chodce for breakfast is pleasant.

The accommodation was very nice, but we had to stay on the top floor and it was very hot.

For my needs I used this hotel as a place to sleep and have breakfast. Otherwise I was out all day. My main issue with this hotel is the lack of air conditioning. I arrived and it was 32C outside with only a flimsy fan that I had placed so close to me while I in bed you might think I was wearing it like clothing. So if plan to stay here and it’s going to be super warm I would look for other options...

The room was not big and what was missing in the heat was air conditioning. The hotel is clean and close to attractions. However, you cannot park your car near the hotel, and it is noisy at midnight because of nearby bars. The internet connection is very poor. I wouldn't choose this hotel if I knew about these issues beforehand. The reception even misread the passport information to charge me an extra City council fee.

Seems like the staff had a lot of stress because something did not go as planned with a large(r) group. Nevertheless, we only wanted some desserts and had to wait really long before receiving the menu, before ordering and once we got them they were not that good even. We had better elsewhere.

A great experience. The hotel is a gorgeous medieval building right on the main square. Our room was huge and nicely furnished. Free parking available 5 minutes walk away. The location means it was noisy at night, and there is no air conditioning, but that comes with the age and location. Nice staff, good breakfast, and an exquisite location in a jewel of a town.

We stayed at an apartment, which were 2 big rooms connected with a small corridor. We had a double bed in each, 2 bathrooms (1 with shower, the other with bath). The rooms were clean and spacious. Loved our stay there, the renovated room was awesome, the breakfast was rich, very good service of all hotel staff, close enough to the city center. Definitely recommended for a stay in Pisek. The only missing item worth considering adding are safes in the rooms.

Great location, great service, great vibe. The interior takes you to the past 😃, in a good way! The only thing I’d add is a fridge (not a big problem in the winter) and a kettle with some cups - those were not available, at least in my room(deluxe king).

We were given a loft room, which was of a decent size, but a little inconvenient to take a shower.

The location is great, the other things less Water pressure in third floor bathroom is low, WiFi is low, a little bit dark. Breakfast is good, location is wonderful.

The president suite is amazing. Im also a geologist, and I was told the Owner is the same. I can see the influence of the decor based on this. The suite was so well suited for a romantic weekend. I’ve stayed at the Nautilus twice for about two weeks each time. It is a small and beautiful hotel on a corner of Tábor’s town square. Tábor itself is a lovely and interesting small city a few hours south of Prague. In the US the Nautilus would be called a boutique hotel for its elegance. We booked De Luxe room with whirpool. We expected luxury for the price we paid, but unfortunatelly the only "de luxe" thing in the room was the whirpool (which was running fine). Including the bathroom, they were barely 25 square meters, making it difficult to move around once a suitcase was opened. We had a great stay! The hotel has been renovated since the earlier reviews, and the pool was a delight. There is a gym and sauna accessible as well. The staff was extremely friendly and quite understanding, considering we don't speak Czech. The breakfast and dinner hours are great, and we had delicious food every night. We were also quite happy that we were able to bring our dogs along for the family...

However, although I stayed in a room on the third floor, the elevator only went up to the second floor, so it was quite narrow to get to the third floor. The room is large, has a balcony, and is very quiet. I heard that you can order spa services, but I haven't tried it. The morning buffet starts at 7 o'clock. The food is pretty good, and the surrounding supermarkets are convenient. You can go shopping and come back to eat.
