It was an absolutely wonderful hotel. It felt as if the spirit of the Middle Ages had been carefully preserved, making the entire experience of Český Krumlov even more magical and immersive.
The breakfast was, of course, delicious, but what truly stood out was the atmosphere of the dining hall. Every corner felt beautiful and memorable, like stepping into another century. The staff were also incredibly charming and warm.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Český Krumlov! ✨

The hotel location is so nice and the facilities nearby also perfect. Room is clean and big, the view is also nice.

Because it's located high up on a hill, those with suitcases or a lot of luggage should be aware. Especially in Český Krumlov's main town, which only has cobblestone streets, walking with suitcases is particularly difficult. You might want to consider a transfer option. On the other hand, the view from the observation deck across the road is fantastic. The room was average. It wasn't new, but the bathroom and other facilities seemed relatively new and were safe to use. However, there was no shower curtain or partition, making showering difficult. The door seemed thin, as I could hear everything from the hallway, which was quite noisy and woke me up. I particularly disliked the conversations between what seemed to be staff members.
The staff at check-in were very kind, and they even called me after I got to my room to check if I had any problems; their attentiveness was excellent.

30mins walk from the main train station, closer to bus station about 10mins. Hotel was really beautiful from the reception to the hotel room. Their breakfast buffet spread was good and food quite delicious. Staff was helpful to assist in booking taxi although made an error as they mentioned the room had bathtub but in fact did not.

It's a hotel with a classic atmosphere. They give you plenty of tea and other things, and the breakfast selection is decent. However, the creaky wooden floor and small desk are a bit uncomfortable. If you like an old-fashioned atmosphere, it might be okay. There's a bathtub, so that's a plus.

This is the worst hotel I've encountered in my 20+ years of travel. They're obsessed with money, have no human touch, and are just a bunch of trashy hotels that only care about money.

If 100 is a perfect score, I'd give this hotel 120. I hadn't originally booked it. However, due to various reasons, I booked it as a last resort.
Until I checked in, I didn't even know it was the only five-star hotel in town. The breakfast was excellent, the ambiance was lovely, and the staff were incredibly patient and welcoming. If I ever have the chance to visit Český Krumlov again, this will definitely be my top choice.
In short, if you're going to stay in Český Krumlov, there's no better option. For just over 500 RMB including breakfast for two, what more could you ask for?

The facilities and service at this hotel are extremely poor. I will never stay there again!
We checked into the Luz Hotel at 3:00 PM on August 9th. After dropping off our luggage, we went out to play. We returned to the hotel around 9:30 PM. We were exhausted and sweaty all day and wanted to take a hot shower as soon as possible. However, there was no hot water in the bathroom. We contacted the hotel several times. The first time, the front desk clerk said the maintenance staff had gone home and would be back in ten minutes. We waited for half an hour, but there was still no hot water. The second time we went downstairs to contact the front desk, he didn't believe us and personally came to our room to check. He confirmed that there was no hot water and asked us to wait about 15 minutes. After another 15 minutes, there was still no hot water. We asked again how long it would take, but he kept telling us he had no idea and that he wasn't a maintenance person and didn't know anything! I told them to call and ask. They clearly could have called, but they kept saying they didn't know. Finally, we asked maintenance and were told we'd have to wait at least another 45 minutes. We felt this was taking too long, so we asked if there was a quick solution. They said there wasn't one and they couldn't change rooms because they were fully booked. They told us to figure it out on our own. After all this time, it was already 12:30 AM. We had no choice but to return to our room and simply clean ourselves up before going to bed exhausted, uncomfortable, and with a terrible experience!

The location at the entrance to the ancient city is quite convenient, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. The room was clean and soundproofed. The staff were very nice. The room interior felt like staying in an old castle. The old wooden furniture had a slight odor, so you need to open the windows for ventilation.
