Nice staff. Very basic but clean room, it didn’t matter because we spent 75% of our time outside of the hotel anyway. The onsite restaurant was also great with many delicious lunch/dinner options including the free daily breakfast for two. Only issue was the showers water pressure & no hot water.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and I had a great experience, however this 2nd time it was a very bad and awkward experience. I had a long trip and was just tired and need a rest at 1am. First of all, the AC was not cooling at all. Hot water was challenging but I was able to ger mid warm/cool to get a bath. But the worst was having my wife eaten up by bed bugs... insanely. She told the staff at the front desk but apparently they didn't believe her and did not offer any help/solutions for the desperate itching on her legs

Update: over a week later and this is how her legs look now. Doctor doesn't even understand what happened here. Be careful!

I went to Santo Domingo for my last 2 nights in DR, to celebrate Independent Day and stayed at this hotel since it was close to the parade and main stage for the party. The two guys at the reception were nice, offered good service. Also the staff at the restaurant during breakfast and the owner who is Venezuelan from Spanish descent were very kind. The room came with breakfast which was good and fresh. You could choose between warm and cold drinks, I took fresh juice (tropical and watermelon), and also for the main course you had options (I recommend the veggie omelet, very tasty) and as dessert I took fruits which were fresh cut tropical fruits.

The room was interior, so no window, but it was on the ground floor and was clean, spacious and had a nice big comfortable bed. Every morning I was lazy to get up, sooo comfortable was the bed. Next trip to Santo Domingo will be at this hotel again! This time I'll make sure that I have cash with me, since normally I do everything digitally and pay contactless, not carrying cash, I couldn't tip anyone. In some countries, like Cayman Islands, the tip is included in the price of all services when you pay, and I hoped that was also the case in Dominican Republic. Maybe for those, like me who don't carry cash and pay contactless, they could put a machine/device or something at the reception or at the restaurant where you can just swipe your card to still give a tip which they can share amongst all employees on a monthly basis.

Decent hotel for decent price. Wish they offered more to towels and that windows easier to open. Stove was dirty but we didn't use. Beds were comfy and reception was always super nice. The people at the restaurant were not the best.

The room was very basic, nothing special. We had standard room, for two people it is very small, bathroom is very small, the door of bathroom was broken, so as the shower. AC worked wonderful saved us from the heat outside. Also there is a big fridge in the room , safe, table, chair, TV, wardrobe and Queen sized bed. Breakfast was very good.

It started with the pickup from the airport. On the site it offered airport pickup, so we requested same. On arrival there was some communication issues and it took an hour plus for us to be picked up. We thought this service was covered in our price during booking as part of hotel service. We were wrong we were charged $39.00 by the driver for the service once we arrived at the hotel. The beds were not comfortable the first room the bed was so hard it gave my sister a back ache. We subsequently changed rooms and the beds were only slightly better than the first. The hotel had a no noise past 10pm policy that was not observe in any form. Other guests were allowed to make noise straight through the night. Non-stop. The Breakfast was not pleasant. We were not given the option to select what we wanted for breakfast. We had to eat what was given every morning which was the same thing every morning and not tasty. The crux of the stay was being charged 1500pesos roughly $27 for a towel that had makeup wiped on it. We were told that it was not possible for them to clean the towel and therefore it had to be replaced. We were told that we had to pay the stated cost and we can keep the towel.

Good drinks, good food, good service, good everything! I really love this place for eating and drinking either is by day or night.

They also offer cultural events sometimes and you can buy local artists items in there.

A very Dominican restaurant that serves authentic Dominican food. A must go for travelers that want to taste the amazing flavor and variety of our gastronomy. Nothing fancy, and sometimes the service gets a little bit slow when crowded.

Great local spot with excellent food and prices. The service is not stellar but is adequate. Very popular with locals. I dropped my rating a little because their service has been bad on my last two visits.

Good food for a very good price. The lines are super long at lunch time but it's worth it. They have so many options to choose from. They have lunch specials or you can order separately. The portions are super huge. I like that the staff serving you are wearing gloves head coverings and even masks. I should have gone here every day for lunch but I didn't. If you're staying in any of the nearby hotels like Sheraton or Crown Plaza definitely skip the expensive hotel food and take a walk down the block to this place. You'll even have leftovers for later.

Food and service is horrible. Nothing worse than crappy pizza to a New Yorker... except crappier service. The waiter only has about for tables (including us). The place is almost empty and we couldn't get good service. They didn't know what a real margarita pizza was (tomatoes and basil) and they also had NO BEAR. Whaaaaaaa? In DR? No bear? Really?

The view is nice though
. You can see the ocean. The restaurant looks nice and is in a prime location. Parking is not too bad if you get here before 7pm.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. There were only three tables with patrons and our server couldn't attend to us in a timely manner. When we ordered beers, they not only didn't have Presidente Light (you can throw a rock and find a bottle anywhere here), but they had the audacity to bring us hot beer. Every other establishment we went to, warned us that their beer wasn't cold enough, if they had an issue with their freezers. This place couldn't give two thoughts to it. They rather us sit and settle down and bring us the drinks to experience the terribleness on our own. Wasted time and wasted money. The pizza arrived cold and was no different than any other pizza in the area. MEDIOCRE AT BEST. Thanks for the less than pleasurable experience.
