AC was excellent. We did not have a car.

The staff they was great the appartment for the reason it was not bad ither the price

It was very close to the beach. The toilet was an issue the ac spilled water not a little but puddles the whole bed got wet. Other then that it was cool

I enjoy dealing with Lovely she is the mánager who completes the check into the Hotel, she is professional and welcoming a great asset to The Hotel

I enjoy the pool , the place was clean except the bed. The bed had dust and the windows were bright. The curtains were noticeably.

The service was good the location is amazing 1 minute walk to the beach my only complaint was the bed was so hard other than that I would have given the place 5 stars

Disappointed The staff was extra friendly. The property is extremely old and the price was not valued at the condition of the room. The walls showed water damaged and needed to be scraped and re-painted.

Stayed for 5 nights. Place is on a quiet street but near lots of restaurants and nightlife. The room was clean, had what I needed, and the balcony and pool, which was empty when I was there, were nice. I had to find my own bottled water because it wasn't supplied.

The room was clean and comfortable but dated. The air conditioner is in the bedroom but was able to cleap the entire apartment cool. The one television was in the living room. I was impressed by the cleanliness because this is the only place I visited in Sosua that did not have an ant problem. It is easy to find and everyone there was very friendly.

The check-in process was a bit tedious, but that was due to *******, not the hotel. To keep a positive experience, the hotel staff was very kind and upgraded us to a beautiful room. We were a family of four, including a 7-year-old child, and each of us had our own bed and private bathroom, which was excellent. If you have not been to Costa Rica, you will probably like The DR but I found it very crowded, with VERY pushy locals and trash everywhere including on the beaches. LHVC itself is ok but with tiered service and special area's for VIP's and Members. We never got into the better restaurants and were lucky that they were remodeling one of the low-end buffets as we then had access to the higher end buffets...

The Hotel is beautiful. It looks like a garden. The food menu is very good but very repetitive. I like the stay.

The place was ok. The food was good, the room was so so, hard bed & lumpy pillows. The property was kept up but people just leave their trash everywhere. The everyday staff, bartender Jose at the dessert bar was amazing, housekeepers, waitstaff, were all superb. Always smiling and friendly. There is a lot of selling going on. There are timeshares for sale. We were asked several times to take a tour...

Been there a few times the last 4 years and the service from all staff is always above my expectations. The guest on the other hand, that keeps getting worst, always super loud, no courtesy or decency whatsoever. I had to decide this was my last time staying here when my family and I went for lunch and left out towels on chairs by the pool only to have one of the towels go missing. Explained the situation...

Our stay here was very good, the animation in the Pilon area (karaoke) with Julio Cesar Nice was spectacular and made us feel right at home. Special shoutout to the waiters at the Pilon area too. The only downside is that the resort has no food varieties and my family and I were expecting more.

I really felt like I was at home I would go back there again

Casa Azul is a convenient place to stay for a short visit to Puerto Plata. Very secure. Comfortable bed. Good size fridge in the room. Daniele communicates well, is very accommodating, shares local information, and provides paid taxi service if she is available.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Azul! We had to book last minute due to a mishap, but this stay turned everything around. The entire apartment was very spacious and clean, and had a water cooler with delicious, fresh, cold water. The air conditioning kept the bedroom very comfortable, and we slept great on the bed. There was an incredible view from the rooftop, and all the outdoor areas were relaxing...

The owner is very nice, willing to help, she was a teacher and has a lot of interesting knowledge to share, she knows a lot of places and events for tourists, I loved the place and hope to go back one day 😇🙏
