The resort is a pretty quick ride from the airport which was nice. The staff and service we received was excellent and very friendly. The nightly shows are well produced and were a lot of fun to go watch

The beach is fabulous with plenty of lounges and day-beds for VIP. The beach bar was very handy too. Beware the locals on the beach who constantly try to take you too their market

We stayed here for 7 days for our honeymoon. The location is amazing - being only 20 minutes from the airport. We received amazing service, especially from Roberto, the drinks were nice and strong

It is a big resort complex so a ton to do and a lot of food options. The room was nice, we didn't go to spend a lot of time in the room :)

They did not come when I called as promised,I had to go the next morning to guest service and they sent someone that afternoon and fixed the door and clean up the flood I had inside the room when it rained

The toilets didn’t even flush well. The room, you can say was like a sauna, due to how warm the room was. During the night, the light went out 3 times in the whole building, even while I was taking a shower

Me and My hubby visited for his birthday from MI, USA. We quickly noticed almost no one speaks English, we thought they would on the resort. We wanted to try all the restaurants but the reservation part was tricky

The shows on the stage are super fun and the pool staff and games are awesome :) lisselotte was my favourite staff member! She is super fun and brings up the energy for everyone! The beach bar is fun at night and they have snack bar open if you need

Checked in to The Grand Paradise on Saturday and I absolutely love it here. It is beyond beautiful and the service at Cooee is amazing. Everyone here really goes the extra mile to make you happy, I never want leave.

Great part of the hotel. Nice employee and great atmosphere. Calm and relaxing holiday you will have for sure. And if you like business and entertainment you walk 2 min to the other pool and you can enjoy that

The new name of this property is unknown or if it will run as a resort. This is what every one who would like to return to the Grand Paradise Playa Dorada would like to know once this information is disclosed

People need trip advisor to let them know this resort is closed. And has been sold by Amasha Marina and is currently being renovated by its new owners Hopdela. They as well own and operate Emotions

The food was delicious with great variety, the drinks were always available, and the entertainment kept the atmosphere fun and lively. The beach and pools were amazing, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views

Everything about our stay at Playabachata was excellent from start to finish. The service was outstanding — the staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile

Playa Bachata resort is a 3 star experience. If you want a low cost all inclusive getaway, this place works. Don't expect high-quality food, drinks, or activities and you won't be disappointed

The issues we needed to deal with, which happens at many resorts, lack of clean beach towels (it was 4 days into our trip before we scored ours), huge, I mean huge, line ups for hot meal plates, and dining room at all meals of day sounded like the loud high-pitched buzzing of a high school cafeteria, leaving us to question if this was really considered a 'vacation'

The food is very delicious, fresh fruit always available and the themed restaurants have delicious dishes. The property is not too big so everything is at a reasonable distance

I had an amazing time at BlueBay Villas. Food was great and had a lot of options. I especially enjoyed the entertainment. Shoutout to Lizbeth! They made me feel welcomed and I enjoyed their energy

Really great service, love entertainment, every day different game, love the diversity of the music. Free alcoholic beverages, as much as you want. Big shows every nights about different countries culture

My first time and has been a fantastic time food is great at all restaurants, pools are clean and refreshing especially the swim bar. The entertainment is awesome with shows and games during the day

That swim up bar was amazing and that actually had nightly shows that were performed. The all u can drink went from one bar to the other during the night time closer towards the beach area

I loved the beach, although the waves are huge, so people need to be careful, especially with kids. Overall, I had a great experience at this resort, with a great price and excellent service

The room was not up to standars, bathroom in bad conditions, paint poor, balcony doors in very bad shape, AC was too cool or off, Bar was good, Staff was very good, food was not excellent, was there but not good, the new year's banquet was excelent

The hotel sits in a good place to venture out and eat. The far end of the beach has many restaurants near ojos a nice club. Just have some small denomination in dollars to tip and get things done

The restaurant manager (one of my faves there) was amazing, and dealt with everything, but he can only do so much. If you get the chance, and you’re already going, I would upgrade to a superior ocean room

The rooms are standard and clean, no issues with the AC or water. The best thing about this resort was the staff. Timéo and Esther in specific were so kind to us and really made the trip so much better

There is also a disco tech open from 11pm-2am which makes for amazing night life at the resort. The drinks, juices and frozen cocktails are lacking in quality but there are a good amount of options

I recently stayed at Viva Heavens in the Dominican Republic, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! The resort was impeccably clean, and the atmosphere was so quiet and peaceful—it felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle

Monkey and Skinny are the best. Constantly making you laugh and doing funny gestures. The beer tasted good except for the one keg was skunky. I think it was in the sun too long. Bartenders and drinks were awesome

We've spent time in the sport's bar, lobby, outside of the sport's bar, the drinks are good everywhere, the Beach snack bar is close to the beach which is very convenient and there are also bathrooms there

They serve food there as well which is great! The sport's bar also has great food, and drinks, lot's of people congregate around it because it's very social and friendly

From the moment we arrived it was great, the front desk very friendly, accommodating and helpful, our room wasn't ready when we arrived but shortly afterwards we were escorted to our room with our luggage, the room was beautiful, clean and air conditioning worked well but there was a bit of a musty smell, it was on the 1st floor which we requested but I quickly decided that I wanted to be in another...

The pizza shop was excellent to and the icecream shop super yummy 😋 over all I would definitely recommend this resort, we're enjoying the last 5 days we've been here and look forward to the next 5 we are spending here until it'ime to go home

A bit of a long wait at the snack bar so we went there when we needed a sun break. The chicken and burgers were awesome. Anne Marie in the buffet was always there to greet us in the morning with a big smile for breakfast

Don’t have high expectations, it is a simple hotel and far from all inclusive Mexican hotels , the beach isn’t great, the room was smelly

The complex is enormous and you will definitely need a golf cart to get around which is costly per day but worth it! They were super helpful in getting everything I needed planned for my 40th

They only give you 1 beer, 1 so soda and a couple of waters in the fridge, which we thought it sucks for an all-inclusive. The food was really good, and the employees were super nice

Totally different than Punta Cana. This has a way more Dominican vibe, more music, more local people on vacation, and an excellent array of food and beverages

To start with, this was my first Caribbean resort stay, with an all inclusive option. Overall the experience was good. The food was decent, the pools were great, and the activities on the resort were fun

My recommendation is to stay at the Confresi Palm with the larger rooms that have a jacuzzi inside and then get the Black Vip Band for access to everything at the resort

Usually I don’t care for all inclusive resort food, but I really really enjoyed the food here. Everything was flavorful and abundant. We stayed for New Year’s Eve and it was done very very nicely

Let’s start off by saying entertainment team, beach and pool reserved restaurants are good! Now the rooms are humid do not drink the filtered water I got extremely sick as well as many others at the resort they gatekeep the water bottles and won’t provide it to you at all!!! Front desk is very stand off ish and rude the rooms have bugs buffet food nasty just overall wouldn’t go back again would go...

food everywhere and many many activities for adults and kids, staff was very nice had no problems my stay was great, loved that the balcony of the room had a place to hang clothes for after you get out the pool, would definitely visit again it was fun

The staff was amazing from check-in to check-out. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and fun, and I truly enjoyed interacting with them throughout our stay. A special shout-out to the Kids Club staff—they were incredible

There was a lot of thought and effort that was put in for the guest to enjoy themselves. It seems to me that the resort takes good care of its employees and it shows. I would stay here again without hesitation

That was really annoying to inhale nasty smog from smoking people especially during evening events and close to the lobby. I think smoking supposed to be allowed only at special areas

We did that and it was awesome, we especially enjoyed the quiet beach to the right,but they both were nice. I've stayed at a few all inclusive resorts and this was the best food we've eaten

It's definitely quality over quantity, there's not a huge variety, but everything was delicious! There were just a few things that could have made our stay better, but nothing that would prevent us coming back

A drink menu at the bar would be nice,especially for travelers like me that mostly drink on vacation. I never know what to order and it's helpful if the bartender can recommend something

We were on the 3rd floor and the elevator wasn't working, so if you have mobility issues,its probably best to request a ground floor room

We definitely got our exercise while we were there :) Also, our room was set up a little oddly. The main area, by table and chairs had the big bed in it and the day bed was in the room that had a door

The hotel staff go out of their way to ensure the culture of the resort is welcoming, warm, and safe. I would definitely bring my kids here

Everyone at this resort treated us with the utmost respect. We enjoyed it so much that we became members. So very glad thatvwe did as the upgraded restaurants were fantastic

This was a wonderful experience, being treated like a VIP was new to me. There were a few fixes w/Room, however they were taken care of quickly

Tito the bartender was a treat, Denise at the spa was amazing, front desk staff was courteous and professional

Some of them serving food or drinks got more engaged in socializing with their peers or looking at their phones and we’re at times forgetful with drinks, but it didn’t bother me too much. I just got up and got it myself

There is what seems to be some false advertisement saying there’s a doctor available 24 seven but when I went there, there wasn’t even a doctor on site and the person working in the pharmacy left early for lunch so I had to come back to get medicine for a migraine which they didn’t have the right kind

Everyone made this stay the best one yet. I had no issues and everything went smooth. The shuttle bus was very convenient. And the restaurant had many foods to offer. Pools are very clean and it is a very quite resort.

This facility is the best! We stayed for a week late March 2026. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would go out the locked gate early mornings and walk. The hotel and area is so quiet

The massage and horseback riding was unmatched! The staff was very friendly and helpful

They ended up being like family! Moises, Gleni, Anna, Chickie, Zazu, Tito, Abson went over the top to make us feel comfortable and get us where we wanted to go

Also there was beer in the room refrigerator but we didn’t touch that because we didn’t know if it was a charge for it. Only thing I would change is for front desk staff to be a little bit more friendly

The view was great the amenities were great as well. We ordered dinner that wasn’t included and breakfast and it was tasty. They gave us unlimited free coffee and there was water in the room too
