This little hotel is really awsome. Right downtown Sosua and right next to everything. The renovated rooms are very nice, the food is great at a reasonable price, the staff is absolutly the best and always go to the extent to do their best. The new owner is a great hearted man. Good nightlife at the bar with great barmaids. Its a real bargain for the price.

Casa Azul is a convenient place to stay for a short visit to Puerto Plata. Very secure. Comfortable bed. Good size fridge in the room. Daniele communicates well, is very accommodating, shares local information, and provides paid taxi service if she is available.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Azul! We had to book last minute due to a mishap, but this stay turned everything around. The entire apartment was very spacious and clean, and had a water cooler with delicious, fresh, cold water. The air conditioning kept the bedroom very comfortable, and we slept great on the bed. The room was outdated. Had spider webs on the ceiling corners, the door to the bathroom lock was broken and you get stuck inside if you close the door. Cheap hotel and cheap experience

It's a good budget all inclusive, especially if you get access to the VIP area (which I believe came with a junior suite). The buffer food is okay, but the reserved restaurants were pretty good. Dessert selection was sub par. They have a strict policy with any missing items from the room or wrist bands. The beach itself is nice, but a bit rocky in the water.

The resort itself for the price was great IMO but they didn't clean our rooms for 2 day. Food was honestly 7/10 at the buffets. We never made a reservations ( which have to be made at the lobby between 9&11am) soo many pool including some adults only pool which was nice. Food is pretty good but the service staff here is exceptional. I had just a minor little issue and they went above and beyond to rectify it and make our stay even more enjoyable.

New Garden is the best hotel in Sosua!!!! I’ve stayed at New Garden since last April of 2024 13 times. The hotel is clean close to both beaches and the Staff is the Best in Sosua. They treat me like family from the front desk to the waitress to Security and most importantly the house keeping Staff Who keeps the hotel clean. It’s safe and I hate to go but I will be back soon. Very nice hotel. I enjoyed the structure due to ageless beauty of the building. However, this is not an updated new hotel. Not for people that require brand-new facilities as this is not that. Everything was clean and they worked hard to make the stay comfortable. I think for the price the lack of updating is forgivable.

This worked out well. The location is good and the rooms are decent. The service was good. Booked last minute on a Saturday night. So I really have no complaints. I would have liked a refrigerator but balcony was nice. Shower with hot water and pressure. It was not expensive.

The location is a bit complicated but very quiet.

The location should have been closer to the city. You must have transportation for outside shopping, restaurants, etc. The location is secluded, but nice if you want to just stay in one place. I would recommend Casa Linda for this area.

Everyone made this stay the best one yet. I had no issues and everything went smooth. The shuttle bus was very convenient. And the restaurant had many foods to offer. Pools are very clean and it is a very quite resort.
