The ship is new and the furniture is modern and neat. We were not happy with our first room
Because it was noisy and the staff offered to upgrade us. And we were very happy with the room. The food offered is a buffet for all tastes and the staff is extremely welcoming. For breakfast you have a variety of fresh fruits, local tasty cheeses, vegetables and warm meals, omelettes, pastries, etc. In the evening we could also enjoy life music. I certainly recommend !! And special thanks to the staff.

Not to be recommended. the facility is worn and the staff (apart from those at room service, the chefs and a Mohamed at the reception) are troublesome and close-minded. The boat is placed far out of town, most of the sunbeds are broken and the food is tasteless. They canceled a Galabia Party without telling the guests even though the guests bought their galabias and were ready and excited for the party that didn't happen

Main issue is food, low quality, not enough variety, same breakfast during 3 days, even fruit variety and quality were very very low.
It is a shame because crew is very helpful and professional.
Furniture is quite old, but very clean.
Heads-up; wifi is not working properly.

A very substandard cruise experience .
We did a 4 night trip in this cruise from Luxor to Aswan.
The room service and dining room staff were extremely friendly and polite. Room was spacious enough for two of us . Dinner and lunch buffet spread was decent with around 2 soups, 6-7 main course dishes , variety of salad and desserts .
On the down side , breakfast was very limited. The ship itself seems a little dated and doesn’t seem to have been renovated for a long time. There were absolutely no activities during the long stays on the boat , which became a bit of a drag. There was a TV in the room which was not working.Overall , it was a dry experience on a substandard Cruise.
Special mention to an extremely rude Reception staff who seems very eager to push out clients on the dot as soon as cruise gets over. He was very aggressive and insisted he should have the room key at his desk by 8, without even hearing what we had to say. For someone who is the first contact of a guest at the reception, Semiramis can do a better job at keeping front desk staff with slightly better manners.
Overall, try avoiding Sunrise Semiramis if you have got another option . And there is no dearth of cruises on the Nile , most of them in better shape and with much more entertainment options while on board.

Spacious boat with plenty of room for everyone! Delicious food, and kind, attentive staff. The pool and sun deck were maintained and pleasant. The room was adequate. Overall, we are glad we ended up on this cruise boat.
