This was my favorite hotel throughout my entire Egypt trip! Luxor's weather was wonderfully warm, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The sunlight streaming through the sheer curtains was absolutely beautiful. From the balcony, you could see the Nile River right in front, and the breakfast was delicious. If I ever get the chance to visit Luxor again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel.
The rooms are huge, and the hotel offers a shuttle service. The breakfast spread is excellent, and it's quite affordable. Using inDrive for taxis is super convenient for getting around anywhere. If you're not a stickler for details, it's a great hotel. But if you are, then Egypt itself might not be the right fit!
The hotel is located on an island which is not in downtown, close to the airport and a little bit far from famous temples etc., but it is acceptable and quite safe, away from noisy. The facilities are a bit old but still clean. The billboard is not well maintained and can't be used, table tennis and tennis rackets are old, just usable but not enjoyable. The service is good, we arrived in the morning...
I stayed at Jolie Ville with my family and had a very comfortable experience. The staff were child friendly and helpful throughout our brief stay. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the overall service was efficient and smooth. The facilities were good, and everything worked as expected, making it a reliable choice for our overnight stay. The food was good, offering a decent variety,...
The hotel's location isn't far from Luxor Temple, and the buffet was good. We also enjoyed fishing in the Nile, making it great value for money. However, the overall efficiency of the staff was very low. It took over an hour to check in at the front desk, even though there were only four families ahead of us. Additionally, facilities like the gym and squash courts were practically useless, mostly broken...
Beautiful resort, located on a small island just outside Luxor. We had a family room, which were two interconnect rooms. Good beds, very clean. Huge breakfast buffet. 3 pools, of which one is (slightly) heated. We were there in winter, the unheated pools are too cold to swim then. View of the Nile spectacular. The staff is very friendly. Small things for improvements. Bathrooms slightly outdated and...

The river view room offers a spacious view of the hot air balloons across the river, even though it was foggy that day. We also received a complimentary fruit platter upon check-in, and the front desk staff was very warm and attentive.
The hotel has an excellent location, less than 2km from Luxor Temple. You can see the Valley of the Kings and hot air balloons in the early morning from across the river. The room is spacious and the service is good.
Fantastic hotel! We even got upgraded to a partial river view room. Although it's an older property, it's very well-maintained and right on the Nile. The location is also convenient. I'll definitely book this hotel again when I visit Luxor.
Facilities: Well-equipped. Although the style is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. Cleanliness: Spotless and tidy. Environment: Offers views of the Nile. Both the night view and hot air balloons can be seen from the balcony. Upon checking in, we discovered this was the same hotel our delegation stayed at. Service: The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic, proactively introducing the...
Quite good, my room can see the hot air balloon but my fd one cannot
Good, will recommend to people if you’re going to Luxor. Clean places and nice staffs and the location is good.

Hotel has Beautiful nile view but the facilities are old and out of date, other hotels i stayed in egypt r all provided unlimited bottle of water, but not here. Great thing is the staff at reception very helpful.  Ahemd (if i remember correctly) who is in charge of night shift at reception very welcoming and full of humor. Released our stress from luxor airport to City at mid night  Well done!
The hotel's ambiance is quite nice; if you have time, you can watch the sunrise and sunset over the Nile from the pool. However, the garden view bungalows don't offer much of a view from the window. Breakfast looks plentiful, but it's mostly sauces and cheeses. The service was attentive, but the place is definitely showing its age.
Real Steigenberger! Everything is perfect, services are great, the hotel is very clean and quiet
There aren't many hotel options in Luxor, and this one offers the best value for a five-star hotel. While the facilities are a bit dated, the service and maintenance are excellent. More importantly, this hotel isn't in the bustling city center, but it's not too far either. Anyone who's stayed in downtown areas of other Egyptian cities will know what that means: no honking, no motorcycles, no noise...
The room was quite old and I found it to be pretty average. The facilities weren't great either. Breakfast wasn't included, and we paid an extra 600 EGP per person, which was definitely not worth it. Although there were many options, there wasn't much good food. They had plain congee (Chinese rice porridge) but no side dishes or preserved vegetables. There were also a lot of tour groups, so the overall...
The hotel is a little old, but the rooms are well-maintained. The sunset from the hotel was amazing. It's a little far from the city and the airport.

Small room with extremely small balcony. (We not booking the cheapest room) Old amenities and essentials. Very disappointed at Luxor Hilton. Not value for money at all. It’s also true that you get to see hot air balloons in the morning. However, the view is not that worth it.
The staff were friendly and helpful! I was astonished by their ability to speak several languages. The hotel/resort itself was very relaxing, particularly after long days of visiting historical sites. Highly recommended.
Perfect environment to live in, great infinity pool with sunrise or sunset, but not convenient to go to town center.
Staff, view, location, services all perfect
nice hotel but the buffet is a bit off
It is a very beautiful resort, and the best in Luxor. Enjoyed the spacious compound and view of the Valley of the King and Nile River from the hotel resort. The staff has been very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I like the spa, thermal area and infinity heated pool, which was the most relaxing experience. Highly recommended stay.

The hotel's overall ambiance is great, and the breakfast spread is exceptionally rich and delicious. It's comfortable and cozy, definitely a worthwhile choice! The transportation is also very convenient. If you're coming to Luxor, I highly recommend staying here! You're guaranteed a good rest.
The staff were incredibly warm and chatty, which was a huge plus. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, and the soundproofing isn't great; the street-facing rooms can be quite noisy, though thankfully, it was clean. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast.
had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Nile Palace in Luxor. The hotel is elegant, clean, and very well maintained. The staff were professional, friendly, and always attentive. The room was spacious, comfortable, and offered a relaxing atmosphere. The location is excellent, right on the Nile with beautiful views. The facilities and overall service were excellent. It was a very pleasant and memorable...
The hotel is a bit run down and the rooms need updating. The plus side of this hotel is the staff do not keep harassing you for tips, unlike the locally owned hotels. The hotel breakfast spread was very good. The strawberry juice was delicious and fresh. We had dinner at the hotel on both nights and the food was good
The hotel is located right by the road, and it seems like a lot of Chinese guests stay here. There's a KFC to the left of the hotel that's cheap and tasty.
The environment is great, and the Nile view is absolutely beautiful! The room is clean and tidy! Waking up early to enjoy breakfast while watching the hot air balloons rise over the Valley of the Kings across the river is indeed a wonderful experience!

The hotel photos on Trip.com really don't do it justice; the garden is absolutely beautiful, and the pool is great too. Breakfast starts at 5:30 AM and can even be packed to go, so you don't have to worry about missing out on breakfast if you're heading out for a hot air balloon ride.
This is a legendary hotel with a century of history! After visiting its historic corridors, you'll be amazed by its exquisite elegance and the classical beauty it exudes everywhere. Even though we stayed in the winter hotel in the side wing, sharing the beautiful views and the century-old service, this is truly the most worthwhile hotel to stay at in Luxor!
The hotel environment is beautiful, and it only takes about 7 minutes to walk to Luxor Temple from the hotel, which is very convenient. The breakfast was decent, but unfortunately, there was no meat. The swimming pool also closed at sunset, which was a bit early. They provided an extra bed for our child free of charge, and we gave a small tip. We didn't bring our travel adapter, and the front desk...
Staying at the Sofitel Winter Palace Luxor Pavilion is like stepping into a century-old dream along the Nile. The French vintage style is elegant and warm, with spacious, quiet rooms. Opening the window reveals lush gardens and the meandering river, where the sunset casts a golden glow and a gentle evening breeze sets a perfect ambiance. The hotel's gardens are serene and tasteful, filled with fragrant...
Stayed two nights at this hotel, sharing the garden and pool with the Sofitel Winter Palace, which was built in 1886. Absolutely amazing value for money, at just one-third the price of the Winter Palace. This morning, I was out walking in the garden around 6 AM, and it was just me and the busy gardeners – not a single tourist. I truly had the gardens all to myself. The hotel is located right across...
The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a five-minute walk to Luxor Temple, and the Luxor Souk and McDonald's are also very close by. Plus, it's only a stone's throw from where you can catch a felucca. The atmosphere is great, and the breakfast is generous. Highly recommend!

The hotel is starting to feel a bit dated, but that's its charm. The staff is friendly, and the heated pool is very nice. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the pool bar; the food was mediocre and we had stomach problems afterward. Breakfast was much better. Overall, it's worth staying here, but the overall impression is that this hotel isn't worth the price.
The rooms are really old and need renovation. The garden is absolutely gorgeous; I think it's even better than the old waterfall and the gardens of Mina Palace!!
The room was old, the facilities were outdated, the service was so-so, and the environment was just passable.
The location is great. The facilities are a bit old and not worth the price.
The food are terrible. Facilities are old with dirty bath tub. Not worth the price, better book new hotels instead
Great place to stop from the harsh Egyptian experience.  An oasis for sure great garden and fantastic service.  It’s a must do after long travels.

We have stayed in lots of outstanding hotels around the world over the last 30+ years but would say that this is definitely in our top 3. It’s an absolute oasis of calm and tranquility with generous and warm service from the outstanding staff. Our room was beautiful and spacious with a really comfortable bed, a nice shower/bath and great amenities. Food options were all excellent and the swimming...
Utterly magical. One of the most special hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Every touch was exquisite, every corner was beautiful. The restaurants were all lovely with thoughtful service. A highlight was visiting the farm - ostriches, buffalo, deer - and feeding the camels! We enjoyed every minute and never wanted to leave.
Having spent 3 days in Cairo this is an outstanding oasis of calm and recuperation. The rooms are beautifully proportioned with huge bathrooms and aircon. Multiple outside and inside areas, fantastic pool and gardens with a farm attached. Food delicious and everywhere the glorious Egyptian welcome.

This hotel is a gem. Small enough to feel very exclusive, but big enough to have all the facilities you need. We arrived in Luxor on the Oberoi Zehra Nile cruise, which was outstanding in every way. The hotel is 30 minutes from Luxor in a pretty area of countryside. The buildings are very attractive and the suites are dotted around the pretty grounds. Great cruise friendly crew I really loved the food The Nile river is beautiful But sometimes they are lacking in communication and client support
‘M/S Royal Ruby II’ was the name of the Nile Cruise that was allotted to my partner and me by our Indian travel partner ‘Olizy Holidays’ and Egyptian tour operator ‘TBO DMC.’ We were given a Double Standard Cabin on board. We checked in on December 17, 2025 (Wednesday) and checked out on December 20, 2025 (Saturday). In between, we covered all the locations in and around Aswan and Luxor while the cruise...
All I can say is WOW! We came on our honeymoon and got upgraded to a suit. The staff went above and beyond for us and made our stay one of the best in Egypt. From arrival to leaving everyone was super nice and assisted in anything you needed. Food was great couldn’t have been any better as we even got a private dinner on top deck and a private breakfast on a Egyptian boat before leaving. Thank you...
Great service and cleanliness
We had a great experience on board the royal ruby. The staff was warm, very accommodating, and hospitable towards our family. The rooms were clean and comfortable. While there was abundant food during the meals, the only down side is the food itself. The food was lacking probably because of being on a cruise. The areas where we docked were magical. We experienced the beauty of the Nile and the history...
The cruise was excellent & above all our expectations. The services, staffing and cleanliness are all 5 star!! The food top of the top!! It’s a cruise that I recommend everyone!
