I don’t recommend to try the Chinese restaurant in the hotel There actin chinese they don’t know how to do fried rice I guess turn out very bad. But the Italian was so good in my option
It was such a thoughtful gesture. It offers great value for money for a one - night stay. You definitely won’t regret choosing to stay here in Luxor. Truly recommended to everyone!
Everything was perfect, but the gym was too old, some machines didn’t work
I recommend to put the request to get a new renovation room, it’s will perfectly like the photo. The hotel located in the city center and right next to the Nile, there are KFC close by
The room facing the Nile had a fantastic view, but the facilities were extremely old. The air conditioning unit was humming loudly. The service was okay, but very inefficient. There were quite a few Chinese tourists.
It's very close to the city center, just a 1 km carriage ride away. Most rooms seem to offer direct or partial views of the Nile. We initially had a triple room, then switched to a junior suite with two balconies

The hotel has an excellent location, less than 2km from Luxor Temple. You can see the Valley of the Kings and hot air balloons in the early morning from across the river. The room is spacious and the service is good.
Fantastic hotel! We even got upgraded to a partial river view room. Although it's an older property, it's very well-maintained and right on the Nile. The location is also convenient
I just spent a few days here with a friend, and I highly recommend the Sonesta St. George Hotel in Luxor for an unforgettable luxury stay
The river view room offers a spacious view of the hot air balloons across the river, even though it was foggy that day
Service: The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic, proactively introducing the room and arranging for us to have a room one floor higher for a better view
Since there were three of us and no king beds available, they kindly added an extra bed. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Luxor

The room was decent, and the cleanliness and service were okay. Just don't book cruises through the hotel; they're overpriced and the boat quality is poor.
The river view room really has an unbeatable environment. You can watch the sunrise, sunset, and hot air balloons from the room. The interior design is also beautiful, with a European-style flair
Nice location, nice breakfast, nice views, nice amenities, and very nice employees always ready to help. I recommend this hotel 100%
The Nile view is absolutely stunning, and the soundproofing is good. The room is a bit old, but the breakfast is delicious.
Unlike other hotels that believe their service is complete after check out the employees at Iberotel Luxor went above and beyond the call. When I called about a jacket I mistakenly left at the hotel Mr
I really enjoyed staying at Iberotel. I spent almost all of my time in Luxor at the hotel. I enjoyed the sunset every day

The restaurant food is decent and caters to the tourist palette (if you are after delicious, authentic food best to go into the city centre). We also visited the spa and had a salt treatment and full body massage
Is not a fancy hotel but is perfect, clean and great service. Location is very good, near the Luxor Temple and plenty of taxis at the doorstep
They have a Travel agency which works very good (a bit pricey) and accomodate to your needs providing good service. Nice swimming pool, gym and massage. Breakfast is great, vegetarian options are plenty
The spa staff were very welcoming and the massage was excellent
First time coming here but I will certainly come back
We loved our stay at Aracan Hotel in Luxor. The hotel is in a perfect location, offering beautiful views of the Nile and easy walking access to attractions like Luxor Temple and nearby restaurants

The staff were incredibly warm and chatty, which was a huge plus. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, and the soundproofing isn't great; the street-facing rooms can be quite noisy, though thankfully, it was clean
Perfect location just in the center as well as on the bank of Nile. Reception very professional and welcoming. Got upgarded which was super appriciated since we've had a very long and exhausting trip behind us
The hotel's overall ambiance is great, and the breakfast spread is exceptionally rich and delicious. It's comfortable and cozy, definitely a worthwhile choice! The transportation is also very convenient
If you're coming to Luxor, I highly recommend staying here! You're guaranteed a good rest
The room was spacious, comfortable, and offered a relaxing atmosphere. The location is excellent, right on the Nile with beautiful views. The facilities and overall service were excellent
It was a very pleasant and memorable stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Luxor
The hotel environment is beautiful, and it only takes about 7 minutes to walk to Luxor Temple from the hotel, which is very convenient. The breakfast was decent, but unfortunately, there was no meat
This is a legendary hotel with a century of history! After visiting its historic corridors, you'll be amazed by its exquisite elegance and the classical beauty it exudes everywhere
Even though we stayed in the winter hotel in the side wing, sharing the beautiful views and the century-old service, this is truly the most worthwhile hotel to stay at in Luxor!
The swimming pool also closed at sunset, which was a bit early. They provided an extra bed for our child free of charge, and we gave a small tip
Great hotel ,wonderful gardens and pool area,a little piece of heaven in the middle of a busy city !
com really don't do it justice; the garden is absolutely beautiful, and the pool is great too

I declined and asked for a full refund, but they said they couldn't give it to me. Another day has passed and I am now in Jordan. I went to the hospital again and am receiving treatment
The hotel is starting to feel a bit dated, but that's its charm. The staff is friendly, and the heated pool is very nice
The Sofitel Winter Palace is one of the most grand and beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in! The hotel is massive with really high ceilings and is very ornate! The staff is very courteous and friendly helping you out in any way they can
The Winter Palace Hotel is excellent. The service is refined and attentive, with staff who truly care for every detail. Perfectly situated near historic sites, the location offers both convenience and stunning views
A great hotel with lots of history. Convenient having hassle-free shops inside. Really centrally located - walkable to key sights. The bathroom design was a bit strange, specifically the showers
Unfortunately, I can't recommend the pool bar; the food was mediocre and we had stomach problems afterward. Overall, it's worth staying here, but the overall impression is that this hotel isn't worth the price

Great location and very friendly people and staff
The room was clean, and the Nile view room offered a beautiful view of the Nile and the opposite bank. There seemed to be Wi-Fi, but the signal was so weak that I didn't use it
There was no hot water in the shower, and even when I checked with the front desk, they said there was no hot water, so be careful. There are several delicious restaurants in the area
Rooms are fairly good size. Hot water. AC works.luggage storage after chk out.water 15 pounds, coke small 20 pounds EGP.
No breakfast. No coffee/ tea.
The New Pola Hotel is a good choice, especially if you value cleanliness and a GREAT internet connection. The Nile view is also a big plus. However, the significant noise from the road is a serious drawback
Beautiful view of the Nile. Comfortable and excellent rooms for accommodation. Excellent service for guests

The hotel manager noticed and, out of kindness, arranged a balloon tour for me through his contacts. I'm so grateful for the manager's thoughtfulness. This hotel has a wonderful manager!
I had pre-booked a hot air balloon tour through a major website while still in Japan. I woke up at 3 AM and waited in the hotel lobby, but no one came
Great ambience with Nile view vibes and remarkable service and response from the front desk and specifically Ms Eman
The hotel is very beautiful and has friendly staffs. They helped us a lot and let us check in earlier than expected. Totally recommended!
Great location convenient for everything
Especially near to the great restaurant named Oriental house 👍👍
Can see hot ballons
Could do with Wi-Fi throughout the hotel but staff are friendly and helpful and food is excellent.

Rooftop views of Luxor, friendly staff and central location make this hotel a decent option in Luxor
The hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to the tourist promenade, making it convenient for travelers. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and the service is outstanding, adding to the overall experience
One of the highlights is the rooftop, which offers a stunning view, especially in the morning, creating a charming atmosphere. Although the food quality isn't the best, the overall experience is very good
We stayed here for a total of 3 days. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds. For a 3 star hotel it's above average. Good for the money you pay for. I only didn't like the breakfast that much
An ideal stay for a 3-star hotel
It's tired, and I'm not sure you would really want to use the pool! The room was essentially windowless, as you just looked at a brick wall. The breakfast room was in the basement, and was not great
Friendly , Safe, well run hotel. WiFi free. Room good size and. clean. Bedding and towels rather worn out and old. Location 5 star. Hotel Reception staff very polite and responsive. Would stay again.
I liked my 2 day stay, nice poeple. Yeah there are scammers waiting outside but thats how egypt is and not the hotels fault, air conditioner sometimes stopped working, they will fix it for you in just a minute if you ask
The location is fantastic, so good that you can walk to practically anywhere you want to go. A key tip: the hotel is only 500 meters from the bus station, so there's no need to take a taxi.
Although we arrived earlier than the check-in time, we were shown to our room immediately. The bathroom was spacious and clean
We used towels and towels we brought with us, so we're not sure if there was body soap or a hairdryer
right next to bazaar, nile river and Temple. airport condition is really good when it works

Cons: The hotel facilities were quite old; the Wi-Fi was very slow, almost unusable; it was quite far from the city center (given the unreliable drivers in Luxor, I had to walk an hour to the temples during my stay); the soundproofing was poor, and I occasionally heard banging or knocking from next door or upstairs
It was nice to have a supermarket next to the hotel. It was far from the city center, so I had trouble exchanging money, but the hotel did it for me. However, the exchange rate was poor
Had lunch buffet. Good choices & excellent quality. Very crispy , fresh salads. Main dishes are tasty. Overall is good. Service could be more professional, yet is nice & friendly.
Me and my Wife eat light, so we had pasta and Salad. The pasta was cooked to that nice level, "Al dente". The Salad was Calamari Salad, a cold salad that goes well with the sweet hot weather that you have outside
The service very good especially our tour guide mustafa, he so kind and very helpful he help us to buy the ticket and treat us like his own family. Also the front desk sister salma very friendly and kind
The room very clean and comfort. Very recommended to book the hotel package tour at luxor
Walk to Nile River and can stroll along the riverfront walkway- corniche, though several locals will try to entice you for taxi, felucca sailing and motor boat rides, just remember to bargain bargain and bargain 1/3 to 1/2 of the prices
Pros: Lovely Egyptian Decor Hotel. Beautiful Egyptian wall murals and paintings throughout the common areas of the hotel. Several comfortable relaxing area to enjoy with little to no distractions
Public’s ferry available to go to Eastbank side for 25 EGP o/w. Hotel management and all staff helpful and friendly. Daily Breakfast was a nice variety of foods, with daily changes
Location is with a small local community with 5 min. walking to markets, shops, and local restaurants, 10 min
Highly recommend staying on the West Bank side of the Nile river It’s more quiet, less people and less traffic, especially walking along the waterfront area. Room was basic and comfortable
Delicious daily breakfast buffet with new varieties every day. Pool area was nice and relaxing along with several other comfortable areas to just relax

The rooms were clean, with comfortable beds, and of course, new towel art everyday, which we very much appreciated! The staff were so friendly and helpful and made our stay so much more enjoyable! They helped securing us care to travel to the Valleys of the Kings and also to the airport
It is also perfectly suitable for people traveling with kids. The meals served at the restaurant throughout the day were also delicious, especially the local cuisine
Excellent location near the Luxor temple and close to the train station. Amazing breakfast spread at the rooftop restaurant with great views. Good food option just outside the hotel, lot of other options nearby
We cannot recommend this hotel enough! The hotel is located right next to Luxor Temple, with an amazing view of the temple overlooking the Nile
Not to mention that you can see the Hatshepsut Temple from the rooftop! The view is especially beautiful at sundown! The breakfast is served on the same rooftop; it is varied, with cheese and pastries, fresh fruit, eggs and much more
Their taxi service to the airport is one of the cheapest, safest and most reliable around. Budget $2-$3 for someone to take your bags to your room, as there is no lift
We didn't use the pool as it was cold, but the view of the banana plantations and the Nile was amazing. One morning we overslept and missed breakfast, but they kindly served it to us anyway, even though it was past time
Now, it's apparently only 170 per night!
Ctrip's three-star rating is more accurate; this is essentially a farmhouse in a village. It has a rooftop pool and is surrounded by palm trees, cows, sheep, and donkeys
1 on *********** and marked as a five-star property. At the time, two nights were over 800 on Booking, but just over 700 on Ctrip, so I booked through Ctrip
Getting there is inconvenient. It took me an hour to find it from Luxor's East Bank, and the navigation route was even blocked by an excavator
In the evenings, you can order beer for a very reasonable price
I left the East Bank at 1:30 PM, found the place at 2:30 PM, and then couldn't find anyone at the front desk. I had to call for someone to come and check me in. The taxi the owner arranged for us cost $30
He helped us get around town, took us on a boat ride down the Nile, got our clothes washed, and overall gave us a insight to Egyptian everyday life. The West bank is quiet and the locals are welcoming
We stayed 2 nights here whilst in Luxor. This is a beautiful, tranquil setting and a very pretty hotel design. The bed was comfortable, the shower good, and the gardens and pool area are lovely
Karim and the staff really put me at ease. The room was lovely and clean. The shower was lovely and hot. Too cold for me but I had the whole area to myself every day. They made my tea just how I liked it
It is much quieter than the east shore. - There are good restaurants on the west side as well, so no problem. The ferry that crosses to the east side also runs 24 hours a day
They also do evening meals but we were not hungry enough to eat at night after a big lunch. The west bank is very peaceful and this hotel was a good place to stay
I was let down by a family member so I travelled by myself. Everyone was so friendly and couldn't do enough for me. I took a few trips with the hotel's driver/guides. The food was good and the service was exceptional

Loved it, great view to luxor temple, and food was awesome at the restaurant, mr. Mateus was extremely helpful and super nice. Rooftop pool was amazing.
Very good hotel. Great dinner, nice clean rooms, balcony. Very kind staff! Just problem to get warm water fast, but anyway highly recommand.
I love it!
It's clean, nice and it have great view, aslo the people work here are so kind
The staff is very welcoming and they are very warm.
Still the rooms were pretty tight and i couldn't move around. Still one of the best hotels if you are on budget.
Rooms were clean and well kept. The rooftop pool was a great lounge area at night . Awesome view of the temple and avenue of the sphinx!
Everything was great! The hotel is very clean. It has a swimming pool. Also it has a restaurant on the roof. The food in restaurant is perfect, very good! People on the reception and in restaurant are very kind
Located in a calm and pleasant neighbourhood in Luxor's west bank, the El Nakhil Hotel is a good find where one can stretch their legs and relax well after a tiring tour to the nearby places
The hotel also has a pool with sun loungers available for guests, which is perfect after a day of exploring. Ferry port is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Highly recommended for a stay in Luxor
If you ask the owner, they'll arrange a balloon tour, Luxor, or Xian for a reasonable fee. Even if you're late for photo shoots, they'll wait for you until late and safely escort you back to the hotel
The hotel reception has got a huge collection of books in English, German and French where one can indulge in them, while feeling bored in the hotel room
The restaurant is located in the upstairs which offers good food options from vegetarian, western to Egyptian. I highly recommend this hotel for those who plan to stay in Luxor

Speaking of the pool, it’s a lifesaver after sightseeing in the summer heat!
A huge thank you to Allah and Mohammed for making our stay so special, and of course to Queenie, one of the owners (the cat!), a cutie, always there to greet you
Twenty years ago I really hated Luxor and El Gezira Garden totally changed my mind, if there is a paradise in Egypt it is thas place. The staff, the calm, the restaurant ( rare in Egypt) everything is pleasant there
Perfectly located on the West Bank, close to all the main sites and just a short walk from the ferry to the East Bank. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly at home thanks to the warm welcome from all the staff
Authenticate hotel on the West Bank of Luxor. Lovely staff and great service. Location is just 2 mins walk from the Nile and an ideal location for all the West Bank hotspots like valley of the kings etc
Rooms are a little dated but air conditioned and clean. Pool is a great bonus and is well cleaned. Breakfast also basic but delicious. If you want great service and location without the frills then this place is great
Comfortable family apartment, superb breakfast buffet and a pool to refresh you after a hot day in the sun. A few restaurants and shops to try locally, plus the boats across the river are only a 5 minute walk away

The staff kindly arranged flowers in the room and on the bed when requested by my partner for Valentine's day. They also provided us with some ice for my joints even though we arrived really late at night
Very easy to get around, worth staying a few extra days to explore and relax as the hotel has a lovely roof top The room was larger than I had expected and the cleaning crew where very efficient making sure things were great for us, even had bug zappers to stop the mosquito's which was nice of them I Couldn't believe how nice the food was you must try thier tagine it's delicious and so reasonably...
Great experience!!!
Hotel is very clean and spacious the owner and the staff are very nice and welcoming it is in a very Good location the bar staff are amazing I had a great time love the view and the pool
The lovely driver waited for us at the airport even though we were delayed for 4 hours. Overall, the staff were friendly and arranged cars as and when needed. The roof terrace is really enjoyable
The pool isn't heated and even the weather in the 30s could not keep it warm with the cooler nights so shamefully, it was unusable
Staff members are very helpful. Room we stayed at has amazing view very spacious. Rooftop swimming pool was just perfect
