Amarina Queen Resort & Aqua Park Marsa Alam in Abu Dabab

We stayed at Amarina Queen Resort and honestly… what a lovely surprise!
The whole place is super well cared, clean and relaxing, exactly the kind of vibe you want when you escape to Marsa Alam. The beach is beautiful, spacious, and the sea is incredible.

The animation team doesn’t overwhelm you with 200 activities, but the few they do are fun and well-organized, perfect if you want to enjoy the resort without feeling pushed into anything.

Food was good and they really try to make every evening different, which we appreciated.

A special thanks to Sarah, the Quality Inspector Manager. She’s amazing, always around checking on guests, super attentive and ready to help with anything. If you mention a problem, they fix it right away. The whole staff is genuinely kind and welcoming, and that makes a huge difference.

We felt really comfortable here, and if we come back to Egypt, we’ll definitely choose Amarina again. 💙✨

I recently spent a wonderful week at a resort in Marsa Alam, and it was a truly exceptional experience.

The food quality was good, offering a great variety of delicious dishes throughout the stay. What truly elevated the experience was the staff. Most of the members were very polite, attentive, and always ready to assist with a warm smile, also the entertainment team was very present during the day activities and the night shows.
The room was quite large, the beds very comfortable , and the cleaning service excellent.

The beach was well maintained, the beach beds very comfortable and the closest bar offers drinks during the whole day, and in the afternoon hot dogs and hamburger.
There is no sand entering into the see, you find the reef, so don't forget your reef shoes, the snorkeling area is accessible via a pier, you can find a lifeguard that can borrow you a safety jacket.

Suggestion:
Take with you a mosquito repellent for the night, even if the staff perform mosquito control, you can find some into the room.

At the end, a special thank you to Mr. Gamil at the reception, who solved an issue very professionally.

The resort is absolutely wonderful! Everything was beyond expectations — the swimming pool is super clean, and the beach is truly enjoyable and relaxing. It’s definitely a place worth visiting again!
A huge thank you to Mr. Sayed from the restaurant, Khaled from housekeeping, and Ali and Ahmed at the pool bar for their outstanding hospitality and warm, cheerful service.
The reception team is very helpful, and the animation team is incredibly friendly and full of energy!
The only thing missing is Wi-Fi in the rooms — but everything else was just perfect!

Overall our experience was very positive!
Starting from early check in that was provided to us on our arrival. We got the room before 11am.

The best part was our room, 2 steps from the beach and with the beach view! There was a bit of walk to the restaurant and reception since the hotel is huge and has a big and beautiful garden. There was always someone working and cleaning the garden, cutting the hedge.

We loved the beach - sunbeds were very comfortable. Beach towels were provided daily. Part of the beach was shallow and there was a part from the bridge ideal for snorkelling. Underwater world is just amazing!

WiFi was ok, could be better in some parts of the hotel was not available but we did not mind since we came to relax.

Rooms were cleaned every day and new towels and water were provided.
Our room was amazing, sea view, comfortable beds, spacious and nice terrace.

We have used also services from Joya SPA and agreed for package of massages - they also did their best to satisfy our needs! It was a pleasant experience.

There are some tours offered from VIVA sub where you can also rent the snorkelling mask (5€ per day).

What could be improved is the food variety and as well to have some short ingredients next to every meal since it is not always clear if some dishes contain meat (for me that I am vegetarian it was difficult to understand what I could eat and what not);
What we did not like were the sweets.

The only negative comment goes to the agency that is organising transport from and to the airport. The guy is not kind at all - and the worst part is that we nearly missed the flight since he did not send the taxi in the morning as agreed.
Also seems that he is the only one offering transport there and the prices are high (35€ to go to Marsa Alam city).

Good value for money! We have relaxed a lot and enjoyed our stay.
