Bliss Nada Beach Resort in Abu Dabab

The worst hotel ever , I booked Bliss Nada Beach Resort through Agoda for 4 nights, fully prepaid at EGP 9,650.
The hotel later told me they wouldn’t honor this price for Egyptians and asked me to pay EGP 16,000 instead.
This felt discriminatory and very disappointing.
Agoda offered to refund the difference, but the experience ruined my trust.
I hope the hotel improves its booking policies and treats all guests equally.

We decided to book unplanned extra vacation this year, since it was spontaneous trip we choose cheap trip.. I will regret that choice forever and lesson learned (not to buy cheaper trips than 800€ per person in Egypt.). About the hotel: very old, everything needs to be replaced or renovated, in Europe wouldn’t pass the check due to safety observations. Room when we arrived was dirty, floor from talking a walk with white socks coloured them to black in few seconds. Our toilet seat was brown from previous guests( don’t want to know if its sun cream or shi*..). At the balcony everything was dirty from birds shi* and dust, sea salt.. We where traveling with 5yo, shower was very uncomfortable due to it being stuck on the wall (wasn’t nice for a grown up to shower, but showering small child was awful, half of the body places water didn’t reach..) also warm water was missing most of the time, from 7 days trip we had warm water only 3 days (grown ups unpleasant but for little child this was disaster, to wash a crying child every day, because water is ice cold).. The sunbeds on the beach where is very bad condition( all paint is coming off and particles of wood too (I cut my hand with that once), also solf mattresses that are being put on the sunbeds are in awful condition (all broken, with stains, and mold or some black dots on in ( could be bed bugs). The wind wall is also very rusted and paint is coming off, if u try move it might as well get a cut. Playground is not safe for children, DO NOT LEAVE THEM UNATTENDED there. One set of slides is meant to be used in waterpark, not on the ground, strairs are nearly 90* clim up to 2m (yes, for a small child) everything that is metal is rusted and painted over (our child got a cut with one rusted part, in our country after rust contact with open wound we do vaccine in the hospital to protect from blood infection, didn’t do that since child got cut on a last day, now will take care of it in our country..), some parts of the playground are broken or missing, the bird swing (on the right wing) is broken, when child is using it u can see how it nearly tears apart (our child 22kg) if heaver child will use might just break while swinging.. Hotel doors are very old (so as all hotel furniture), I struggled to open door by myself, it got stuck multiple times, only my husband could open it. Staff at the shops is very rude and mean. We where interested in tea, he wanted to sell 100g of tea for 35$, we said no thank you, we will look for something else, then he offered half of the bag for 25€, we declined and went away to other souvenir shop (he was boss for that one too, so as many others there) we picked what we liked, set price with discount was 25€, in my opinion that was a joke, we decided to drop it to 20€ they didn’t till we left, on our way out he did go down to 20( which was too much anyway) he was giving change from 50, he dropped money (that specific 5€ in our hands in a very rude way.) then we did go to watch

The conditions in this hotel are extremely poor and it should absolutely not be part of TUI’s offer. Mattresses are destroyed, the bathroom is dirty, sometimes there’s no hot water, and the soap smells like kerosene. The room was supposed to face the pool but instead faced the desert – with a generator running all night long, making it impossible to sleep. The food is the worst you can imagine. During a one-week stay, the only decent meal was tomato soup; everything else was burnt, greasy, and tasteless. A guest who asked for gluten-free food was offered… jelly. Snacks on the beach were just leftover breakfast rolls with some smelly filling pretending to be meat and so-called cheese that had nothing to do with real cheese. Drinks and alcohol were a disaster – undrinkable, smelly, served in tiny 100 ml plastic cups. The staff tries to be nice and do what they can, but under these conditions, nothing can really help. On top of that, the bartender in the lobby (short, curly-haired) was extremely rude – I haven’t seen such behavior in a long time. As if that wasn’t enough, after 1 AM they water the greenery with sewage – the entire hotel reeks of a disgusting smell for hours. The hotel also plays tricks on guests: if your flight is at 11 PM, your stay ends at noon – they cut off your bracelet and you lose access to food and drinks. You’re left sitting in the lobby until departure. And if you write a negative review, they approach you and try to “buy” it with some food or extra access. Don’t trust the good reviews – they are artificially boosted. This hotel should be reported to the authorities and immediately removed from TUI’s offer.

The hotel is old, it wouldn't matter if it was clean. I didn't see the pool cleaned once in 12 days. The edges were all dirty, there were drinking cups floating in the water. In the morning you get 0.5 water per person in the room, during the day we just pour drinks into small cups. Broken tiles around the pool. Terribly few sunbeds!!! Small selection of food. There are 5 animators, they try, but the program is weak and everyone smokes all day. Bad choice of hotel, never there again. The rooms were nice and cleaned every day.
