A special place to enjoy the tranquility, the coral reefs and the upscale dealings

Visited 20 years ago. Hotel has expanded a lot since. Included drinks are local brands. Reef well protected with clear access and life guards present to keep "less informed" from damaging reef. Lifebelts moored at sea near reef in case a rest required. Dismal entertainment in evenings

A good-quality resort, not very large, so it's easy to get around and access all the amenities. A beautiful, sheltered bay accessible without a jetty for swimming and snorkeling on the reef. Large, clean rooms. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The only downside is the food, which is quite monotonous and lacks variety.

Sataya was one of the best places we have experienced in Egypt. The only negatives were: Wheels on bed didn't lock Sales people had to be told multiple times daily,"when we want you we will find you, until then no thank you!" Otherwise we greatly enjoyed our trip and hope to return someday.

The downside to this hotel is the sea, it has to be the worst i have been to in all of marsa alam and i have stayed in about 12 different hotels in Marsa, The only way to swim is off the Jetty and the coral you get to go snorkelling around is only small....

The room service is ok, most the beach contains rocks except for a small area that's not deep and suitable for children only,but the hotel has a bus with extra fee that goes to a beach called Abu dabbab which is one of the best beaches you can have fun.

The hotel here is maybe one of the best hotels I've ever been, the food is way better than I've expected and the house keeping is really good the only average thing is the beach but you can also ask for other activities to do like safari, snorkeling and diving if you're willing to. Just go to the reception and ask them they are really friendly and want you to be satisfied as a guest.

The resort is ok. The service is very good and everyone is really nice. There's no wifi in the rooms. The food is a bit different everyday. It was good but nothing special. It was my 5th visit of Egypt. The area of resort is really beautiful, nice gardens and everywhere clean. We have visited the hotel on December, and warmed pools were only 2 of all resort counted with Sands resort. One was for children in lagoon and one in hotel Sands, why not in Oasis too? Me and my 9 years old son chose Pickalbatros oasis for our winter holiday (end od December - beginning of January) because its has aquapark, nice reviews and is close to airport. Aquapark was very nice, unfortunately one slide didn't work already when we arrived and one more (our favorite) was closed on 3rd or 4th day of our stay. We visited in October when temperatures were still approaching 30C. Comfortable rooms with all the regular mod cons. Plenty of choices for restaurants even if the food choices were often common between the different venues. Felt safe and comfortable all the staff very helpful.
