Villa Andropoff in Parnu

Villa Andropoff has, by far, the most potential out of all the places I've ever stayed at. It's a shame, because the beach is right there and it's lovely to walk along the coastline, but unfortunately, there are a lot of rotten eggs that need to be taken care of before it can shine like it used to:

- Staff speak communicate exclusively in Russian and offer you towels with holes in them when asked (not a problem, according to them)
- Bathroom lacked soap for shower and when inquired, they replaced the cartridge with handsoap
- Bathroom lacked a shelf beneath the mirror, despite having the holders placed in the wall (we fix the room as well?)
- No trashcan (the Russian/Ukranian cleaners said everyone only gets one small trashcan which is in the bathroom)
- Mini-fridge was broken and only fixed when complained about it
- Bedsheets have blood stains on them
- The bed covers are too small, don't cover the entire mattress
- For some reason, the staff unlock your hotel room in the morning to peek inside to see if anybody is in the room still. Is there no system to check if rooms are occupied or not??
- Only one very small pillow for each bed, extra pillows are found in the closet but with no covers
- Balcony furniture for the room is old, plastic and very dirty
- Floor inside the room is dirty and not washed
- Breakfest is 8 euros if you pay before, otherwise its 12 euros in the morning and it is small, trashy and out-dated by a couple decades
- Trash is bagged and collected next to container in the hotel area, for everyone to see
- Almost everything is out-dated and rotting, from the roofs, to the terrace in the main building. No gardener or maintenance as far as I can see.
- Signage to the hotel area is confusing and even inside the hotel area it is small and strangely placed.

Save your money, go next door or somewhere else in the city - the cheap price tag is a trick for you to accept the lowest possible standards in the hotel industry in Pärnu (maybe in the entire country?)

The place is pretty good and close to the beach, but the rooms are dirty, breakfast was honestly sad and small, wi-fi is terrible, a very old and rusty playground, there is some random probably old and abandoned building, but it's cheap so it's not that bad

Great location right at the beach within a very nice forest. However I'd recommend staying in the campground right next to it. While the building itself is fantastic and will set you back into a different era, the smell inside the rooms and the disgusting taste of the water from the tap will immediately pull you back. With some more cleanliness this place could be a top notch vacation destination
