The hotel was exceptionally clean and its location was perfect, right in the city center. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was very comfortable. The hotel's breakfast was also incredibly appealing.

The location is fantastic, with a café on-site and plenty of attractions nearby. There's also a bus stop close by. The breakfast was lavish. However, for the sauna, the operating hours are short, and the temperature is a bit low. After a few people used the shower, the drain got clogged. I wouldn't recommend it if your main purpose is the sauna. While laundry service is available, it's quite expensive...

Great location! Super convenient for tour groups as all the buses are right across from the hotel.

The room was good and cosy. It was near to the appuka resort shuttle bus if you have booked activities with them. The breakfast was good too. All the necessary shop and restaurant are closed and round the corner. I would choose this hotel again if I come again. Thanks for storing my luggage from morning until close to 6.30pm

The location is smack right in the heart of town Center. There is a mall opposite, a Chinese restaurant beside and a walking 5 min to Santa town office. Not to mention bus stop is just 1 min walk. There is no better place to be sleeping in rovaniemi. Part of the Europe regulation; there are no disposal amenities . So if you want a room slipper, better bring your own else you will be walking in cold...

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right in the city center. There's a mall and a large supermarket directly across the street, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The room is a bit small, but very neat and clean. I highly recommend having breakfast at the hotel; Scandic hotels always have an amazing and delicious breakfast spread!

Booked and the next day tried to shift the dates by one day. They would not allow it and showed zero empathy for the fact that the airport was closed due to war. Also sauna was closed in the early afternoon and past 10 pm which is disappointing. I am a big fan of Scandic normally but the greed and lack of empathy here just because it’s non refundable is such a big turn off. Give your money to nicer...

The hotel is very spacious and clean, and the location is excellent. It's easy to hail an Uber, and there's a bus stop right outside the hotel that goes directly to Santa Claus Village, which is super convenient. The breakfast spread is amazing; I looked forward to it every morning!

It was during the Christmas season, so it was a bit pricey, but it was a great stay. The breakfast was delicious. The next day, when I told them I couldn't eat breakfast due to a flight, they prepared a breakfast box for me.

The room seemed to have been renovated and was relatively new. The location wasn't the best in the area, but since it was a small place, it was only about a five-minute walk to the center, even in the freezing cold. The service was adequate. If you visit during the snowy season, the glass will be mostly covered in snow, so you won't be able to get a clear view of the sky.

The room was a bit small, and the air conditioning wasn't quite strong enough – I even felt a bit chilly wearing thick fleece pants. I suggest increasing the fan speed on the AC. There's a time limit for showering in the room; if you exceed it, the water cuts off, likely due to a small water heater capacity. The Aurora alarm system in the room is excellent. The hotel restaurant has a great view, and the outdoor scenery is beautiful, overlooking a forest. The minibar is chargeable. The room has slippers and toothbrushes, but there are no USB ports; you'll need an adapter.

It's a beautiful hotel with a lovely restaurant upstairs; however, reservations are required for the upstairs dining area. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the windows offer views of the snowscape. It's a bit far from the city center.

This is a former Olympic training center now used by local youth as a full time training facility so there's a LOT of kids and families staying here but everyone was polite and well behaved. There was no nonsense. There are two food facilities on site - a snack bar that has sandwiches, burgers and snacks and the cafeteria used to feed the athletes and provide the free breakfast. Overall the stay was good..the location was nice..however, the room. There were no bathroom mats provided..the beds were not very comfortable. Breakfast timings for the weekends was mentioned as 7am - 10.30am across all gear communication..however, when checked they informed its until 10am on all days..

The hotel is conveniently close to Helsinki Central Station. The room only had towels, a hairdryer, and an electric kettle. I saw a review mentioning that the front desk would heat up food if you asked, as there's no microwave, so I tried, but they couldn't do it. I guess the only good thing about this place is its location.

We spent 4 days here, and the facilities are well-maintained and clean. It's quite well-located, and we absolutely loved the hotel and the very attentive staff! The lady at reception was lovely and even taught us a few Finnish words. The only small drawback I'd mention is that the breakfast was a bit cold, but other than that, I'm delighted! 🥰

The location is good, very close to the city center, but the room was not cleaned and the trash wasn't emptied. The air conditioning inexplicably stopped working, which caused all the food we bought to spoil. Also, there were small cockroaches scurrying around the room, which was a bit gross. Other than that, everything else was pretty satisfactory.

While it might be due to the season, I felt the hotel's quality didn't match its price. There's no elevator, so I had to carry my heavy suitcase up. The room was small, and I could constantly hear conversations from the next room. If I stay in Rovaniemi again, I'll pay a bit more for a different hotel.

If you're a couple, make sure to book for two people. Otherwise, the hotel charges extra if only one person is listed. The room temperature isn't adjustable, and the pillows are just okay. Amazing hotel and staff. Faultless. Big kudos to the hotel concierge Habib who went above and beyond to save our itinerary because of a cancelled tour we booked ourselves. He managed to book us an aurora hunting tour and made us dinner reservations a couple of hours before the tour started and thanks to his efforts we saw the best aurora show.

We stayed in Arctic tree house hotel for 3 days. We found the experience underwhelming. For the price you pay, only breakfast is included. Stayed at the Arctic Light Hotel for 3 nights, 23-25th November 2025. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. I stayed with my family in one of the apartments and it was very clean and organized, we were very comfortable. The location is also very good as it is only a few minutes from the center. On the other hand, the store is very cozy and has very good quality handmade products.

We stopped here for a night on our eay home from a ski holiday. Our family of two adults and two teenagers visited northern Finland during the second week of November 2024. We stayed in cabin Lauri IV, and it was a cozy, cute little cabin. The cabin was clean and we had plenty of space. We only wished the fireplace worked!

Since it was a detached building, there were no special services! I knew that when I went, so there were no problems. There were also facilities where you can learn about the Northern Lights and Finnish nature, as well as a large supermarket, within walking distance, so there were no problems. The suite is comfortable, spacious and very nice design. Manage to catch northern light from the window. Walking distance to santa clause village. Only thing to take note is please take uber to the hotel reception. Do not stop at the information centre of santa clause village as there is no proper walkway to carry luggage from santa clause village to the hotel.

First of all, best hostess ever! Aaria is extremely nice and helpful with all your needs. Her breakfast is good and her Finnish pancakes are amazing. The B&B is very clean and welcoming. The b&b has 2 toilets and showers to share which are always clean. This was my first time sharing and didn't mind it at all. Can't say enough on how great it was staying here for 5 days.
