We stayed at Arctic TreeHouse for three nights, paying around €800 per night. While we had a lovely time overall, we feel the price does not fully justify what the hotel offers.

The rooms are very small and not particularly luxurious for the cost, although the glass-front design and views are absolutely stunning and truly the highlight of the stay. The staff were respectful, welcoming, and accommodating throughout.

Unfortunately, breakfast was very disappointing. Having stayed in many hotels worldwide, this was one of the weakest breakfasts we’ve experienced, very limited options and stale pastries each morning.

A special mention to the two wonderful Kosovo gentlemen at valet service and the restaurant waiter, who were exceptionally kind and accommodating.

Overall, a unique experience with beautiful views, but significantly overpriced for the level of service and amenities provided.

Huge thanks to Grace for her professionalism and enthusiasm, which made our Arctic Circle trip absolutely perfect and filled with magical memories. From the initial itinerary discussions to the flawless conclusion, every step truly demonstrated the value of a bespoke service. This was by far the most stress-free and fulfilling trip we've ever experienced.

If you're a couple, make sure to book for two people. Otherwise, the hotel charges extra if only one person is listed.

The room temperature isn't adjustable, and the pillows are just okay.

The hotel breakfast is decent, but dinner really isn't suitable for a Chinese palate.

Overall, the service is good; they can help book activities you're interested in.

The hotel itself is nice, and the cabin-style rooms are quite beautiful. However, the bathroom was extremely small. Our room was also dirty — the cleaning felt very superficial. We found food leftovers from previous guests on the floor, which was very disappointing.

The extra bed felt unsafe. There are side doors that can be opened easily, creating a risk of falling and getting injured.

We also booked a Northern Lights tour through the hotel, and we reserved it very far in advance, at the same time as booking the hotel. When we went on the tour, the guide immediately said there was heavy fog, meaning they clearly knew in advance that we wouldn’t see anything. Despite this, we were not offered to reschedule the tour for another day, since everything had already been fully prepaid.

Ironically, on the following days we were able to see the Northern Lights directly from the hotel grounds — and it was absolutely amazing and truly magical.

Overall, the place has potential, but the cleanliness, safety, and customer service need significant improvement.

Amazing hotel and staff. Faultless.
Big kudos to the hotel concierge Habib who went above and beyond to save our itinerary because of a cancelled tour we booked ourselves. He managed to book us an aurora hunting tour and made us dinner reservations a couple of hours before the tour started and thanks to his efforts we saw the best aurora show.

For what we paid, this was by far one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had.

Food / Dining
We were on a set menu for three days and were not allowed to choose from the à la carte menu at all. The food was extremely basic and repeated almost identically each day, to the point where we genuinely didn’t want to eat by the end of the stay.
The way dining is advertised is very misleading — it was presented as though Christmas Eve and the Christmas period would offer varied, special menus, which simply did not happen.

Rooms & Privacy
The rooms are very small, making it hard to enjoy the experience at all. They are positioned very close to one another, meaning you cannot leave the blinds open without feeling exposed.
What is advertised as secluded rooms surrounded by trees and privacy is, in reality, a driveway directly in front of the room with cars constantly going past.

Room Temperature
Temperature control was extremely poor. You either froze or suffocated, and guests have no control at all — everything is managed centrally by the hotel.

Shower / Hot Water
The shower water temperature was barely warm and did not last, which is particularly unacceptable in Arctic conditions.

Facilities
There are no facilities whatsoever — no gym, no pool, no spa, no sauna. For a hotel charging premium prices in this destination, this is a major letdown.

Breakfast
Breakfast was very average and exactly the same every single day, with no variation.

Staff
The staff themselves were polite and pleasant — this was the only positive aspect of the stay.

Overall
This hotel is significantly over-hyped and over-priced for what is delivered. The reality does not match the marketing at all.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would not stay here again.

We stayed in Arctic tree house hotel for 3 days. We found the experience underwhelming. For the price you pay, only breakfast is included. And for all the 3 days we stayed, breakfast was the same everyday. It was kinda surprising and disappointing for the amount we pay. Nothing is included in the price like a gym or a sauna. We expected hotel staff to give us some recommendations but didn’t get any. Just a pdf with expensive activities list. View was great but the rooms were tiny and hot water was limited. We stayed in an Airbnb next few days with an extremely cheap price but they had everything including an in house sauna. So you get the gist. Staff were courteous and polite.

The room is very luxurious, the house is unique in appearance, the room is of reasonable size and fully equipped with toothpaste and toothbrush. The hotel breakfast is very good, with a rich variety of freshly squeezed juices, and we also had lunch, which tasted very good. We experienced the exclusive elk sleigh ride for hotel guests, which was much better than going to Santa Claus Village.
It may be under the airport take-off and landing route, sometimes it is a bit noisy when the plane passes by, and it is not quiet enough. The price-performance ratio feels average.

Overall, the room is very cramped, and the price is very poor. If you want to see the Aurora House, it is recommended to go north to the Ivalo area, where the price of the hotel is much higher.

The kids loved it, the breakfast was very good, and you can eat as much caviar as you want. We had a lot of suitcases, but it was difficult to push them because of the snow, so the hotel sent us directly to the door. The service was very good. After booking, I emailed the hotel in advance and asked for a room with a view. You can upgrade it directly by paying a few euros. There is a ski resort outside the door, and you can occasionally see people skiing on the snow.
