The hotel restaurant has a great view, and the outdoor scenery is beautiful, overlooking a forest.
The minibar is chargeable. The room has slippers and toothbrushes, but there are no USB ports; you'll need an adapter.

It's a beautiful hotel with a lovely restaurant upstairs; however, reservations are required for the upstairs dining area. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the windows offer views of the snowscape. It's a bit far from the city center.

I booked a room with a sauna, and it was amazing. The sauna was amazing, and the view from the window was so beautiful it's indescribable.
All the meals were delicious, and the service from the staff was excellent.
They are very experienced and truly capture the hearts of their guests.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice experience overall expect that we booked 2 nights for a luxury room with sauna and we are told there is no sauna room available when we arrive at the reception. We only had 25% off the dinner at the restaurant...We had to negotiate to be upgraded the next night (which we were and it was nice). Also we were told we could not eat our own food at the reception which is a shame when we know the price of the rooms. Also there is no elevator which can be an issue for some people.

Sauna in the room was a great highlight & food was delicious. All the staff were very helpful & friendly. Got lucky and saw amazing aurora from hotel's rooftop after dinner.

The room we stayed in was a normal one, but it was 961€ (just under 160,000 yen) for two nights with breakfast, which is a very high-end price. However, not only do Finnish hotels not provide toothbrushes or combs in the rooms, but this hotel also did not provide shoehorns. The room was also dry, and there were other issues such as a broken plug in the bathtub. I ended up at this hotel because I don't like unit baths, but I guess the price and quality are not in line because it's a famous tourist destination.
The good points were that the breakfast was delicious, the restaurant we had dinner at was authentic, and the staff were friendly.

We came here twice for afternoon tea and coffee by the fire. The coffee was the best I tasted of all the hotels we visited in Finland. The hotel has a very beautiful, relaxing, and cosy atmosphere. It is worth coming here just to enjoy the stunning views from the café (ground floor) and restaurant (first floor). The gift shop had overpriced but beautiful Lapish wooden mugs and gnomes. We'll visit again.
